The Scourge of Anti-Semitism
Wiesenthal Center film opens
Jewish People News
A Simon Wiesenthal Center film about anti-Semitism in Europe opens this
week.
“Ever Again” will start showing Friday in 20 U.S. cities.
Narrated by Kevin Costner, the film spotlights recent violent
anti-Jewish acts by Muslim extremists and neo-Nazis in Belgium, France,
Germany, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
The film was directed and co-written by Richard Trank, who won an Oscar
for “The Long Way Home.”
The Wiesenthal Center’s Rabbi Marvin Hier, winner of two Oscars for
“Genocide” and “The Long Way Home,” also worked on the script for “Ever
Again.”
The film features interviews with victims and perpetrators of
anti-Semitic violence, and suggests that the rise of anti-Semitism in
Europe stems from both the far left and the far right.
