The Society You Get Without God

This has been out for a while, but I just came across this recently.

The video points out the interesting “coincidence” concerning how our education system has gone to pot since we kicked God out of the schools from the 1950s on.

I remember being in grade school in the early 1970s and we still prayed as a class before lunch, and I remember several years that our several grades would go to the gym and watch a film about Jesus.

None of that damaged anyone for life or hurt them in the slightest, that I recall. Probably because the vast majority of people in America were Christians (today, more than 80% call themselves Christians, despite a secularist campaign against Christianity going back decades).

Before the assault on God in the public square (and schools) began in the 1950s, a serious offense was sticking gum under your desk or throwing spitwads.

Now that we have “progressed” and removed all mention of God or Judeo-Christian ethics from our schools, we have “moved up” to rampant teen pregnancy, teen drug addiction, rape, assault, attacks on teachers, stabbings, and even widespread slaughter in our schools (e.g. Columbine and others).

This is what humanist (transient) values have wrought for us. We’re really moving up, aren’t we?

A wise society would realize that it’s going in the wrong direction and move in the right one. What do we do? Push harder and faster to keep going in the wrong direction.

Perhaps a people that stupid don’t deserve to continue as the greatest nation on earth.
