Temple Mount and the Ultimate Nightmare

Temple Mount War Cost Israel $12 Billion
Israel National News

The Oslo War, also known as the Temple Mount War, has cost the State of Israel $12 billion overall, according to a report by Israel Business Data (BDI).

Though the terror offensive launched in September 2000 hit certain segments of the Israeli economy hard – particularly in the realm of tourism – Israel's GDP (Gross Domestic Product) per capita has not fallen, but continued to rise.

The GDP per capita of the Palestinian Authority, however, has fallen 30% during the war. The BDI report claims the war cost the PA economy three times as much as it cost Israel.

Even though Israel’s GDP did not fall as a result of the Temple Mount War, the potential growth per capita was reduced by 11%. According to Globes, Israel’s GDP per capita would therefore be $18,500 rather than the current $16,700 had the Arab not launched their terror assault.
