It’s time you met the real Jesus.

Few know that Jesus was not born on or anywhere near December 25;

--that, as a boy, Jesus learned a profession; that He became the senior member in a construction partnership; that He owned at least one and probably two homes of His own; that He paid taxes.

--that Jesus slept indoors most of His life and frequently spent the night in the homes of very wealthy people, including Romans as well as religious opponents.

--that He was a personal friend of con artists, soldiers, fishermen, cheats, liars, thieves, crooked politicians, religious leaders and prostitutes.

--that Jesus did not come to save the world some two thousand years ago, that He has not been trying to save it since, and that He is not trying to save it today.

--that Jesus did not die of a broken heart; that He was not crucified on “Good Friday”; that He was not resurrected on “Easter Sunday”; that neither Jesus nor His disciples ever celebrated (or taught anyone to celebrate) Christmas or Easter.

--that Jesus had to prove to doubting disciples by incontrovertible evidence that He had truly been resurrected.

--that Jesus Christ is alive today, is planning to return to earth and has actually begun His “countdown” from heaven!

If your own values are those of the common person, the real Jesus may insult you, shock you, please you, challenge you, inspire you, surprise you, make you wonder. But He will never bore you.

The Bible describes something as miry clay, mixed with iron.  But iron and clay don't mix!  The prophecies describe ten-nations which will be unified together, but only for a short time. What is the unifying agent which will bring that about?  The current France/German cooperation is without precedent!  But, for numerous reasons, many expert observers believe Europe will never become a completely cohesive entity.  Those reasons include language barriers, cultural identities, historical disagreements and long-standing animosities.  Nevertheless, there are as yet unfulfilled CORROBORATING prophecies  which predict a cohesive combine of nations described as TEN KINGS which will play a critical role in a tumultuous culmination of end time events.

Only a few decades ago, etiquette precluded the subject of homosexuality from polite conversation. Most parents chose to protect their young children from exposure to such discussion. Today it is unavoidable. The “gay” movement has succeeded in forcing the issue into every aspect of the media, not the least of which has been the news media. The dogma of political correctness has cowered Middle America into ambivalence and silence.

Who Is The "Antichrist"?

When The Wall Comes Tumbling Down...

There is a large bulge in the wall of the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. Recently, it was announced that a group of Jordanian engineers would commence work on reinforcing the wall.

Obviously, the Israeli government knows that any attempt by Israel to shore up the wall, or to touch it in any way even in a sincere effort to prevent its collapse, would be met by a worldwide storm of protest from all of Islam. Therefore, the Jordanians will attempt to repair the bulge. But suppose the effort not only fails, but their work caused a collapse?

Lazarus and The Rich Man

Probably the best known alleged "resident" in heaven is the famous beggar Lazarus! Countless millions have heard the story of "Lazarus and the rich man," much embellished, and with impassioned attacks against the unfeeling, insufferable hauteur of the rich and their disdainful contempt for the plight of the poor. The famous parable of Luke 16 seems to say, to many millions, that Lazarus died and went to heaven, but that the rich man died and went to hell! But is this what it really says? Jesus said, "No man hath ascended up to heaven" (John 3:13). Did Jesus make a mistake?

The Bible--Fact or Fiction?

Is the Bible REALLY the Word of a Supreme Being? Or, as the skeptics and evolutionists say, is it a collection of Hebrew myths, distorted history, poetry and glaring contradictions? Salvation By Works?

"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast" (Ephesians 2:8). Obviously, God has offered salvation by His GRACE, and through FAITH in Jesus Christ as Savior! Then WHY does the Bible say there are WORKS the Christian must accomplish? Believe it or not, WORKS are a part of salvation! James, the brother of Jesus Christ, said, "What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?" He then wrote, "But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?" (James 2:14, 20). Is this a direct Bible contradiction? Does James mean one cannot be saved apart from WORKS? Here is the surprising answer from your own Bible!

"To Eat, Or Not To Eat...?" That Is The Question

Are the so-called "dietary laws" of the Bible merely "Jewish" restrictions, and not to be observed by Christians? Millions of professing Christians eat pork products, seafood of all kinds, rabbits, squirrels, even rattlesnake. Most believe the "dietary laws" have long since been "done away."
