Cole Tomas Allen, 31, was allegedly lying in wait inside the Washington Hilton Hotel to target the president and other officials at the White House Correspondents dinner.

Allen was allegedly armed with a shotgun, handgun, and knives when he charged a security checkpoint outside the packed black-tie gala which was being held in the ballroom of the venue.

So they’ve tried to kill former President Trump again. Trying to return America to its founding principles is dangerous work. We don’t even know if it’s possible, things are so crazy. The media thinks it has the high ground and that we Americans trust them. Wrong. The internet may be evil in a lot of ways, but now everyone can put something out there, and viewer beware. These networks have their trusted anchors, and they think they can tell us almost anything with a straight face. But they’re losing clout and credibility. 

The rapper with the last name Combs is under arrest, and said to be suicidal. They must have the goods on him, whatever he may have done. It was all fun and games for a while, but then reality bites. His mogul days may be a thing of the past, but how many other idiots are waiting in the wings?

Trying to figure out the Ukrainian mess has given me a headache. Somehow, Zelensky running around the world with hat in hand is getting old. We don’t know who’s winning, if anybody. Will Ukraine join NATO? There have been so many massacres over there it’s unbelievable. Mass graves have been dug up, and the evidence of brutality is not for the weak of heart.  

Maybe somebody is going to have to tell me how the election turns out. It’s getting pretty hard to watch. The left wing is absolutely apoplectic about what a bad guy Donald Trump is. To hear one of them rant is downright scary.  

The news that Israel somehow detonated terrorist pagers remotely is making the rounds. They did it in the middle of the day, when they would be in pockets. Right now they’re trying to track down how this was pulled off. The next day walkie talkies exploded all over Lebanon. The explosions killed several, wounded thousands and now what? Maybe the parties will be more willing to negotiate? This situation has gone on nearly a year, and Israel seems determined to make sure it never happens again, at least for a long time. Israel may have been underestimated. Who knows what device might blow up next? Israel has killed a bunch of the leadership, and the terrorists keep getting farther from their goal. You see the pictures of these guys, and they look like regular people, but the hatred runs deep, and they’ve got it bad.  

We’ve got our own troubles. This may be the calm before the storm. Whatever the outcome, the other side is going to cry foul. All kinds of theories are being floated about what might happen in the event of one outcome or another.  

The polls are tied or nearly tied according to the media. How can full stadiums compare to a Kamala rally? No explanations are forthcoming, certainly not in the mainstream media. They better not try to steal this one, or it will be anarchy. People have been forgiving, non-combative and don’t need any trouble. But we have trouble anyway, and if the mainstream, global-warming media thinks they can push the country around, they might just get a rude awakening.  

Right now our country is being invaded. They’re coming from all over the world. What are you, racist? When has any nation on earth allowed millions of people to walk in? That would be never.  But we’re racist, I guess against the whole world, if we’re not thrilled.  

Everybody is still arguing about the debate and Kamala’s body language. They’ve floated the idea that she may have had an earpiece. Some of the poses, we could have done without. Knowledgeable people are saying the debate was a tie or she won. But the news media is getting harder to believe. Hang on tight, because this is for all the chips. Regular people are no longer amused.

News photographers — including those hired by The Post — have had no problem repeatedly securing spots around the perimeter of the course to snap pictures of Trump playing golf or driving around in a golf cart.

They have even taken images — which require a clear line of sight to the 45th president — unnoticed through the bushes with telephoto lenses. Some have gotten as close as 75 yards — without so much as a sideways glance from the Secret Service.

The week we’ve just lived through will take its place in history.  It is, as somebody said, beyond explanation.  

We came within an inch of losing President Trump.  What would we be facing if they’d have killed him?  They’ve tried EVERYTHING to get rid of this guy.  They’ve run out of options, and they’re going to lose unless they cheat again.  If that happens I don’t even want to know.

How many court cases have been launched at Trump at one time?  Laws co-mingled and stretched till nobody knows what the crime was.  The court cases have not gone well for those who revile Donald Trump, except one in New York.  You wonder what will happen with that before it’s overturned.  

What haven’t they tried to get rid of him?  Two impeachments, all kinds of accusations, all seeming to evaporate.  There’s only one way!  But that failed too. I’m starting to think he’s under God’s protection.  I hope so.  The world would be upside down if they’d have killed him. We still don’t know what happened with the assassination attempt, at least I don’t.  There’s a lot that makes no sense, but the important thing is, he’s still alive. We don’t even want to consider what would have happened if he hadn’t turned his head.   

The articles that allow comments would make you think that the public believes that 

Trump wasn’t hit in the head as a result of Divine Intervention.  The distance from your ear to your head isn’t much.  Had he not cocked his head to look at the illegal immigration chart, we’d live in a whole different world.

Now there will be more conspiracy theories than there have been over the JFK assassination, and some of them may turn out to be true!  Biden should have thought twice before saying, as he did only a handful of days ago, “We’ve got to put this guy in a bullseye.”  Maybe the masters of the party didn’t know anything, but I wouldn’t bet on it.

The mainstream approach is, Trump is not only crazy, but dangerous and a threat to “our democracy.”  They’ve likened him to Hitler on magazine covers, and the quick trip to fame is to have some clever accusation that nobody’s heard before.  They’re terrified of another Trump presidency, and they realize that they almost made him a martyr.  If the bullet had found its mark, there would have been a huge sigh of relief in some circles.  They should thank their lucky stars he wasn’t killed.  Whoever is in charge must live in their own world, devoid of the feelings sweeping the land.

Suddenly most commentators on the internet think it was an act of God that he wasn’t hit square in the head.  Who’s going to deny it?

Is the Secret Service really this inept?  The answer would be yes, with them “prioritizing” woke nonsense.  The five foot lady who’s in charge of the Secret Service isn’t talking, though she’s under subpoena to testify before Congress and is sure to get an earful when she appears, if she appears.  She ought to be weighing what country to escape to.

As for the pretender, it’s getting sad to watch.  Little by little everybody’s abandoning him.  For a while it looked like Jill could keep propping him up, but now we know how desperate the situation is.  Every time he shows up it’s another embarrassment.  The world has bad guys that know that the U. S. is not a factor.  How many wars are there? How many potential conflicts? The world needs a strong United States, and a Commander in Chief with some experience, thinking clearly. 

One thing for sure. The pretender is going to have to end the pretense.  We don’t know who will follow him up, but those responsible are not just going to willingly take the ride to Joe’s defeat.  But who?  That’s a problem.  Maybe they should give Hillary another chance.  That would be entertaining.  Trump has taken to calling Hillary “beautiful,” because he wanted to apply the “crooked” word to Biden.

The news says he’s decided to resign after his term is up.  But it’s going to be a free-for-all, or maybe all the top contenders (none worth a plugged nickel) will not want to suffer the humiliation of what’s coming.

The pretender apparently knows his time is up.  The family is meeting, trying to figure out how to bow out gracefully, but it’s too late for that.  Can you imagine what’s going on behind the scenes?  Certain members of the family require protection, and they’ve got to figure that out.  But with so much corruption in their wake, it won’t be easy!            

I don’t have to tell you that things around the world look ominous.  With the U. S. out to lunch, the bad guys will carry out their plans.  On the other hand…

BETHEL PARK, Pa. — Authorities said Monday that they had accessed the phone of the person who attempted to assassinate former President Donald Trump and had completed searches of his car and his family’s home in suburban Pittsburgh, as ongoing efforts to understand the shooter’s motives have so far come up empty.

The FBI said its investigation remains in the “early stages,” but the immediate lack of a clear motive for Saturday’s shooting at a Trump rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, has only deepened the mystery around the gunman, Thomas Matthew Crooks, more than 24 hours after his name was released by authorities. The presumptive Republican nominee was whisked off the stage during the shooting, which claimed the life of a former fire chief and injured two others.

Gregg McCrary, a former FBI profiler who spent more than 25 years with the bureau, first as a field agent and then in the behavioral science unit, said the lack of information about Crooks, 20, poses a challenge for law enforcement.

Argentina’s Vice President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner survived an assassination attempt on Thursday night, after a man with a loaded gun tried to shoot her in the head at close range while she was greeting supporters in front of her house. The gun, which had been loaded with five bullets, did not go off, according to officials.

Argentinian president Alberto Fernandez described the incident as “the most serious event we have gone through since Argentina returned to democracy [in 1983].”

“A man pointed a firearm at her head and pulled the trigger,” President Fernandez said in a televised address. “Cristina is still alive because, for some reason yet to be confirmed, the gun… did not fire.”

Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah survived an apparent assassination attempt on Tuesday after a roadside bomb went off near his 20-vehicle convoy, shortly after entering the Gaza strip.

Hamdallah, who is a member of the internationally-backed Palestinian Authority (PA) in the West Bank, continued his trip into Gaza following the blast to give a speech at the opening ceremony of a waste treatment plant.

Nobody immediately claimed responsibility for the attack, which left three vehicles damaged and six security guards injured.

Hamdallah immediately returned to the West Bank after delivering the speech, vowing to continue reconciliation efforts with rival Palestinian group Hamas in Gaza.

“This will not deter from seeking to end the bitter split. We will still come to Gaza,” he said.

Responsibility unclear

PA President Mahmud Abbas said he held Hamas responsible for the attack. But his security chief, Majed Farraj, said it was too early to say whether Hamas had been involved.

Hamas, which condemned the attack, said it considered the attack as an attempt to block a Palestinian unity agreement drawn up in October. Hamas security forces said they launched an investigation into the attack.

Gaza, which is separated from the West Bank by Israeli territory, has been controlled Hamas since the militant group ousted the PA in 2007. Several other militant groups also operate in Gaza.

Hamas’ troubles

Hamas has fought three wars with Israel and Gaza has suffered from a devastating Israeli and Egyptian blockade.

Egyptian-backed reconciliation talks between Hamas and the PA have stuttered since Hamas handed over control of Gaza’s border crossings to the PA in November.

Hamas’ police force and armed wing, which the US and the European Union consider a terrorist organization, continues to have full control of the rest of Gaza. Hamas has refused to disband its miltary wing and hand over security to the PA as part of a reconciliation deal.

White House meeting on Gaza

The US is set to discuss the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza during a White House meeting later on Tuesday.

It is unclear whether PA representatives will attend the meeting, since the PA has boycotted US officials in response to the US’ recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital city in early December.
