It’s 2026, and I’m happy to see it.  The fireworks were extra good in my neighborhood, and Donald Trump is President.  Maybe someone will tell me where I’m wrong, but I like this guy.

I’m not concerned that Trump means business.  I just hope we don’t get stretched too thin.  We’ve got warships off shore Venezuela, we’re tinkering with the Ukraine war and now Iran is all up in arms. Their money has just fallen off the cliff and now they’re marching in the streets.

Steve Bannon says that we need to stay out of Iran now.  Maybe they’re getting tired of Mullahs running things spewing slogans as they go.  They’re not THAT crazy.

We’ve blown up dozens of Venezuelan drug boats as well as a loading dock.  Where they’re getting recruits is a mystery.  Prices must be going up. Maduro’s trying to make friends, but Trump’s not having it.

Probably the most important situation is in Ukraine.  It doesn’t look like it’s going to stop.  Putin thinks he’s making progress, and maybe he is.  Zelensky better prepare to flee.  The money has probably been hidden, but he’ll make his get-a-way, at least that’s what he’s planning.  Or there’s a good chance I don’t know what I’m talking about.  There’s purportedly a deal in the air, but….

We’ve been hearing about the fraud in Minnesota.  I’ve watched a lot of the videos and there aren’t any children.  They’ve found a good scam, and now they’re caught.  What  will they do?  I’d book a flight home before the Feds come calling.  The whole country has seen these videos and I can’t imagine this can continue to go on. 

Mamdani is making a fool of himself in New York.  I’ve been there, and wouldn’t wish that life on anybody.  The rich people need to get out and go to Florida.  

Newsom has also ruined California, if that’s possible.

It’s 2026, and I hope you’re happy.  I think God has given us one last chance and we’d better not blow it.

LONDON — President Donald Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff is expected to travel to Russia later this week, the president told reporters on Sunday, in a bid to secure an elusive ceasefire deal “where people stop getting killed.”

Witkoff will travel to Moscow on either Wednesday or Thursday, Trump told reporters.

Witkoff heads to Russia amid building frustration in the White House, with six months of diplomacy under Trump having failed to achieve a peace deal — or even a ceasefire — to end Moscow’s full-scale invasion of its neighbor, which began in February 2022.

More than the three previously agreed to hostages are believed to be released on Saturday, Israeli officials told The Jerusalem Post on Monday.

Hamas is still holding six living hostages who are supposed to be released in the first phase. Israeli officials are trying to extend phase one to include more hostages.

On Monday, the security cabinet met to discuss phase two of the deal. Only then will a decision be made on whether an Israeli delegation will meet with Qatari and Egyptian officials to discuss phase two.

Hamas has said it will release Israeli hostages as planned and will implement the Gaza ceasefire deal.

It had previously threatened to delay the next release of hostagesafter accusing Israel of failing to meet its obligations to allow in tents and shelters, and delaying Palestinians’ return to the north of Gaza.

In response, Israel, with the backing of US President Donald Trump, had threatened to renew its offensive if hostages were not freed.

But Hamas has now indicated three more Israeli hostages would be freed on Saturday.

Mr Blinken had earlier warned this was “maybe the last opportunity” to secure a ceasefire agreement, as the US hopes to push a deal over the finish line.
