Greetings from Tyler,

Now the news is trying to make something of Trump’s relationship with his aide, Natalie Harp. If you were married to Melania, I don’t think Natalie Harp would spark an interest. I hope there’s nothing to it. If he allowed the media to break up his marriage and there wasn’t anything to it, it would be a sad day indeed. They’re printing Natalie’s letters, but who knows what goes through the head of a beautiful woman. She certainly takes her job seriously.

We’re at war, and we hardly know it. We have to consult the news to find out what’s going on, and even then we’re not sure. The Strait of Hormuz is in the news again. Donald Trump claims we are policing the narrow gap, and the media is making the most of our vulnerabilities.

To be clear, I thought the war with Iran would be over by now, but those wily suckers refuse to give up. It’s like the Old Testament. Sooner or later they’ll be forced to reveal the obvious. But for now they’ve got unexpended drones. This is why we didn’t pull the trigger before. One thing about people from that region, they won’t admit defeat. Trump’s advisors should have told him that. They talk big. Too big.

I don’t know what the situation is now, so I’m avoiding California. I’d love to go back, but things are never as you left them.

We couldn’t afford gadgets anymore. But Trump is trying to repatriate these industries so we won’t worry. But if China attacked Taiwan it might escalate. That’s what we have to worry about. Most of the world’s concerns are much more immediate.

Chinese electric vehicle sales in Europe reached a record high during the first five months of 2026. Chinese brands sold 171,800 battery-electric vehicles across the 18 largest Western European markets, raising their market share from 9.4% to 14.2% in one year. One out of every seven EVs sold in Western Europe now carries a Chinese brand, despite additional EU duties of up to 35.3% on top of the standard 10% automobile tariff.

Brussels claims China is “dumping” state-subsidized vehicles, and there is no question that Beijing supported its EV industry. Yet Europe subsidizes battery factories, charging stations, renewable energy, manufacturers, and the consumers purchasing these cars. Italy’s incentives temporarily reduced the Chinese Leapmotor T03 to as little as €5,000. The difference is that China used industrial policy to build an efficient supply chain, while Europe spent public money creating regulations, mandates, compliance departments, and carbon-accounting schemes.

We’re at war with Iran, but we’re sleeping just fine. I bet they’re not in Tehran. It seems every time the Iranians balk, Trump stands at the ready. He’d be fine with unleashing hell, but he doesn’t want to do it unnecessarily.

Greetings from Tyler,

Trump says twenty years is enough. But Iran is not being forthcoming. The way he looks at it most of us will be dead, and the next generation can deal with the situation. But Trump’s not happy about the way Iran is negotiating. But the way we’ve been dealing death to Iran’s leaders… they don’t know which end is up.

Trump was just in “Chynah”, and we’re waiting to hear how things went. China is the one country that’s continuing to do business with Iran. Surely that will get straightened out. We don’t want a war with China while we deal with Iran. China is the one place that could hurt us, but they won’t. The Bible tells us how things will play out, and we’re not there yet.

So far, peace talks with Iran have been unacceptable. The President wants pledges he’s not getting. Meanwhile, Iran menaces the Strait of Hormuz, where a good portion of the world’s oil flows. They could have done this anytime, but they’ve just gotten the daylights bombed out of them, so what’s left? I understand that we are sending oil to Europe to make up for the shortfall, but can we do that indefinitely?

Everything old is new again. Here we are in 2026 worrying about the Strait of Hormuz. We were worrying about that narrow choke point years ago. My Dad did programs about it. So far Iran has not admitted defeat, and maybe we’ll have to deal with that. I learned one thing about the Middle East: The Arabs are braggarts. I could tell some stories.

The left is doubling down. Hollywood has its cast of men who play women in movies and it’s all the rage right now. My Dad used to describe people who celebrate these movies as pigs at the trough, but who’s looking out for Hollywood right now? I guess it’s the one thing they can tout, but I don’t want to be fooled.

We’re at war with Iran, but you’d hardly know it. Gas prices are up, but at least we can sleep at night. Trump is promising lower gas prices, but the media is making hay while they can. I think most liberal media outlets are against Trump. They can’t stand him, and they’re hoping he will fail just to give them the satisfaction, and allow them to toot their horns in public. But so far so good.

Europe is building cages around its oil facilities, just in case a stray missile comes in. Who ever thought of it? They’re literally building cages around their oil storage facilities so the explosives won’t reach the oil. Maybe we should do that. Europe is where the action is, and we’re not making friends with them either. They’re outraged that Trump is such a strong leader. I’m sure his name is on everybody’s lips over there. Europe is backward by our standards. We can be thankful we live in the U. S.

It looks like America is on a roll, and the media would like nothing better than for us to crash just so they can criticize Trump.

Comey, Clapper and Brennan may yet get their wings clipped. We can only hope!

Iran is nearing a deal with China to buy anti-ship cruise missiles known as CM-302, according to six sources familiar with the negotiations. This comes at a time when the United States has deployed a significant naval force near Iran, preparing for potential military actions against the country. The CM-302 missiles can travel about 290 kilometers and are designed to outmaneuver naval defenses by flying low and fast. Their acquisition would greatly boost Iran’s ability to strike and pose a threat to U. S. naval operations in the area, as noted by weapons experts.

The missile negotiations, which have been ongoing for at least two years, gained momentum following a brief conflict between Israel and Iran in June. Senior Iranian officials, including deputy defense minister Massoud Oraei, visited China as the talks progressed. The exact number of missiles involved in the potential deal, their cost, and the commitment from China regarding delivery remain unclear amid the rising regional tensions.

Britain’s Prime Minister Keir Starmer hailed “really good progress” during talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing on Thursday. After the 80-minute summit, China also announced that it will relax its rules for British citizens visiting ‍the country, allowing them to enter visa-free for trips under 30 days.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer told Chinese President Xi Jinping on Thursday that he wanted to build a “sophisticated relationship” with Beijing to boost the UK economy, signalling a reset after years of strained ties.

On the key day of his four-day visit to China, the first by a British prime minister in eight years, Starmer held an 80-minute summit with Xi at the Great Hall of the People before they lunched together. Starmer said the pair chatted about football and Shakespeare, as well as business matters.

China agreed to relax rules to allow some visa-free travel for British citizens as part of a partnership deal which London hopes will help expand its ‍service sector.
