Vicki Derderian, 47, has been on mechanical life support since 2020 after her heart failed and is desperate for a transplant, but The Alfred Hospital deemed her ineligible to be placed on the organ donor waiting list because she is not vaccinated against COVID.

“I think it’s a form of punishment,” she said.

“They’re set in their ways — basically it’s ‘no jab, no heart’. There is no long-term study on the efficacy of vaccines on pre- and post-transplant patients. I have a legal exemption from ATAGI which they are refusing to acknowledge.”

The former president confirmed the search of his residence while speaking with reporters, as did his wife, Michelle, on her Instagram account.

A police official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because the person wasn’t authorized to speak publicly, said Bolsonaro would be questioned at Federal Police headquarters and confirmed that one of his closest allies, Mauro Cid, was arrested.

Asked about the search of Bolsonaro’s home, the Federal Police’s press office provided a statement saying officers were carrying out 16 searches and six arrests in Rio de Janeiro related to the introduction of fraudulent data related to the COVID-19 vaccine into the nation’s health system. The statement didn’t name Bolsonaro or Cid.

Weekly Update 

Greetings from Tyler,

It was almost the perfect legal defense.  The CDC has made a big deal of coming out, in the person of Ms. Walenski, and said they didn’t perform up to standards and there’s a shake-up in progress.  That ought to do it.  So, of the lawsuits filed and pending, the CDC has just inoculated themselves.  Mistakes were made, but every effort is being made to piece together some kindergarten talk.  Here and there we find that masks are still being required of school children, and military pilots are banned from training if they refused the “vaccine.”  Who ever heard of a vaccine that would see the recipient come down, maybe twice, with the malady in question?  There are high profile people, like the pretender and his wife who’ve been double vaccinated, double boosted and have had to isolate.  It’s not nearly as bad as it might have been!  Beam me up.

How’s the Ukrainian war going?  Yes it’s still going, and there’s every conceivable prediction as to the conclusion.  Right now concerns are focused on a nuclear power plant that the Russians reportedly occupied last February, and have kept running by forcing Ukrainian workers to keep working.  Word is that Russia might reroute the power produced to it’s own grid.  Does that mean that the Russians didn’t go after solar panels and wind turbines?  Wonder why not.

TV clips are showing Europe’s rivers dried up.  Did this happen overnight?  How did these rivers go from transportation hubs to completely dry?  You can bet we’ll be told it’s man-made climate change.  Maybe you didn’t buy an electric car soon enough?  Officials have already decided that rain is not a solution to the problem.  No, it’s undoubtedly a climate crisis.  And it’s all your fault!

You might have thought we were through with Covid-19.  Not so fast!  Even though the CDC made a huge deal this week about how they’d mishandled the recommendations and were undergoing a huge shake-up, Covid muscles are still being flexed.  So, no matter how cockamamie the rules may have been, they’re still in effect out there and damaging lives.  Those questioning the orthodoxy are still being banned from social networks (hello facebook and Instagram).  Just today RFK Jr.’s organization got banned for something deemed misinformation.  

When the British tried this back in the 1700’s, it didn’t go over so well.  But you’d think the wars were never fought and freedom never established.  The “elite” are using technology to fling people into utter darkness if they depart from the established narrative.  Regardless of how many “followers,” you can’t say something that disputes the party line without getting in trouble, meaning banned from distribution.

It seems every time you turn on the news, you see a drone shot of Mar-a-Lago with police lights reflecting off the walls.  Whatever happened to the 4^th Amendment?  We’ll probably never see the underlying pretense for this reckless action on the part of national “law enforcement.”  There’s all kinds of speculation as to what they may have been after.  All the trial balloons have gone down in flames.  Nuclear secrets, anybody?   Some think that Trump had the goods on agency misbehavior and planned to embarrass the haughty agency in due time.

But the agents had been in Mar-a-Lago only a matter of weeks before, and everything seemed to be proceeding fine.  There’s a letter from the National Archives thanking Trump for his cooperation.    Agents could look EVERYWHERE and take anything.  Even Melania’s wardrobe was fair game.  Some legal experts expect that Trump will be charged with a crime, and that ought to show us wretched right-wingers how things work.

Not that the U. S. doesn’t deserve whatever comes.  We were endowed with certain faculties that were supposed to help us discern.  But you can’t depend on your own discernment any more. We’ll be told what to think, what shots to get, and there better be no backtalk, or else.

It’s starting to look downright totalitarian.  Some have called the raid, The Day America Changed.  We hope not.  Some of us are hoping God will give America another chance.  We’ve definitely been blowing it, government wise, culture wise etc.  Sooner or later it will all work out.  It’s our responsibility to WATCH and warn.

Only just over half of Poles (56%) say they would take a vaccine for COVID-19 if one were available, a global survey by Ipsos on behalf of the World Economic Forum has found.

That puts Poland second from bottom among the 27 countries included in the study, alongside Hungary (56%). Only Russia (54%) came below them.

Globally, 74% of adults surveyed said they would take the vaccine. The countries with the highest proportion of positive responses are China (97%), Brazil (88%) and Australia (88%).

In a separate survey conducted in Poland by SW Research for Rzeczpospolita in July, just under half of Poles (47%) said that they would use a vaccine if one became available.

In the latest Ipsos study, among Poles who said they did not intend to take the vaccine, the most common reason – chosen by 65% of them – was that they were worried about side effects.

Almost half (44%) said they did not think the treatment would be effective, while 18% said they were opposed to vaccines in general.

Poland, like many countries, has seen a growth in anti-vaccine sentiment in recent years. The number of people refusing compulsory vaccinations grew thirteenfold in 2008-18, reaching 40,151 in the latter year, and the proportion of children being vaccinated against measles has fallen below the 95% threshold required for herd immunity.

Last year, Poland recorded 1,423 measles cases – the fourth highest number among EU member states and more than in the previous 18 years combined. Many cases were found among immigrants from neighbouring Ukraine, leading the government to consider an entry ban on unvaccinated foreigners.

Antivax groups have been present at anti-lockdown protests in Poland during the coronavirus pandemic. A “Stop the Plandemic” demonstration in the city of Poznań on Saturday was led by Justyna Socha, who in 2018 fronted a successful effort to gather the 100,000 public signatures necessary to submit a legislative proposal to parliament that would ban compulsory vaccinations.

Socha is a parliamentary assistant to MP Grzegorz Braun, one of the leaders of the far-right Confederation (Konfederacja). Braun has been present at anti-lockdown protests, including one in Berlin at the end of August, which Socha also attended.

During Poland’s recent presidential election campaign, incumbent Andrzej Duda declared that he was “not a supporter of any kind of obligatory vaccination”. Following criticism, he clarified that he was referring only to a potential coronavirus vaccine, and not to vaccinations in general.

In response, the health minister at the time, Łukasz Szumowski, said that it was too early to discuss whether a vaccine against COVID-19 should be made mandatory. The vaccine first needed to be developed and tested, he said.

Last month, Szumowski announced that Poland was expecting the first batches of a future vaccine to arrive in December. Medical workers would be first in line to receive it, he said, followed by the uniformed services and the elderly.

According to the new Ipsos survey, Poles are the most sceptical among all the nations included as to whether a vaccine will be ready soon. Only 27% of respondents in Poland agreed that the vaccine will be available to them by the end of this year.

That was the lowest among all countries surveyed, and compared to a global average of 41%. Most optimistic were the Chinese, 87% of whom thought they would have access to a vaccine in 2020, followed by Saudis (75%) and Indians (74%).

Poland has experienced a relatively low rate of coronavirus infections, following a tough and early lockdown. However, new cases recently rose to their highest ever level after restrictions were loosened. Since late August, however, daily infection numbers have been falling again.
