The press secretary said Biden had pardoned his son, who was facing sentencing later this month in two federal cases, to shield him from potential persecution by the outgoing president’s political foes.

The sweeping pardon covers any potential federal crimes that 54-year-old Hunter may have committed over the course of a decade.

Republicans have lambasted the move, with President-elect Donald Trump calling it “an abuse and miscarriage of justice”.

He did it again!  Wouldn’t you have loved to be a fly on the wall when the pope said the unthinkable? There must have been pointy hats going in all directions.  Why are they so outraged?  You don’t suppose he hit them where they live?  It even sounds worse in Italian, and the pious cardinals were not amused. He apologized, and while his apology was being considered, he said it again!  The same term that made all the cardinals and priests apoplectic in the first place. This was to be the pope who finally broke the barrier and welcomed everybody, no matter how weird.

He was the one who “welcomed” them openly, catering to their perverse desire to be seen and accepted. Now he’s called them “frociaggine” to their faces. 

Europe is turning right.  Oh boy.  They were ahead of us with their “global warming” response. All their good ideas aren’t producing enough power, so they’ve had to return to destroying the planet.  Apparently Chinese battery cars are all the rage.  Will we keep them out with protectionism, or would somebody actually buy one?  

Putin has been showing up all over the far east.  He’s made deals with China, North Korea and Vietnam. Some have speculated that there will be North Koreans and possibly others fighting in Ukraine!  Maybe you don’t listen to Trump speeches, but I do. He claims he’ll have the Ukraine war ended even BEFORE he arrives at the White House.  We can only wonder.

So they convicted Hunter Biden on gun charges, and the media is trying to draw some moral equivalency to the “two felons”. Oh yeah, they’re exactly the same! (/s)  Trump doesn’t even drink alcohol because of his brother and perhaps other acquaintances. But the media is treating them as the same, FELONS. The only problem is, Trump’s case is going to get overturned, so they better enjoy themselves while they can. Hunter’s case? That’s a problem. But maybe the pretender is using this as a distraction.  After all he’s not on trial.  Hunter’s sentence will probably be commuted, despite all the talk. 

We plan to treat the immigration problem in the next issue of the magazine. I can’t stand to watch what’s going on with the border. Apparently we’ve declared ourselves completely unable to get a handle on it, or the administration has.  It just wouldn’t be fair, or some such nonsense. I cannot stand the explanations given by Mayorkas. My take is that it’s a former president’s solution for our prosperity. We don’t deserve a civilized existence, so bring in the third world! That ought to fix us.

Trump says we’re going to send all the illegals back where they came from in the biggest deportation in history.  Odds are that Biden won’t make it to the election, or far past.  The smart money is expecting Newsom to step in with everyone’s blessing, including the big guy’s.  What a good job he’s done with California.  We can’t wait for the whole country to have people living under bridges, camping wherever they please and trash everywhere.  Maybe that would make us feel better.

The historic verdict of the president’s son reflects Hunter’s high stakes gamble to go to trial instead of accepting a revised plea deal proposed in the summer of 2023.

Hunter faces up to 25 years in prison and $750,000 of fines, court filings say.

There is typically a two to three month delay between conviction and sentencing in the federal system. “We don’t yet know what the sentencing guidelines would be if he’s convicted on all counts,” NBC News reported, “but one legal expert said they likely would specify around a year in prison.”

Hunter’s gun trial judge, Maryellen Noreika, recently delivered a one-year sentence to a defendant in a similar gun case. The defense asked for a six-month sentence, but Noreika gave him one year.

The State of the Union was last night, I didn’t watch.   I waited for the aftermath, and it’s all over the map.  Apparently the pretender needed to prove he was “with it.”  That might have been a strategic error.  His own Department of Justice just concluded that he was too elderly to be held accountable to the evidence they have, so he just knocked their theory into a cocked hat.  No doubt he played up his elderly-ness in the interview we’ll never see, and must have been convincing.  But that’s all in the past now.  Apparently the pretender acquitted himself reasonably well.  How, is another question.

There’s a phone conference circling the globe that was never supposed to see the light of day.  In it German generals are conferring about how to bomb the bridge to Crimea.  Other things got discussed that were not ready for prime time.  But now it’s out.  The Russians intercepted and released it. Putin already knows.  It threatens to erupt into a scandal, but everybody’s afraid to talk about it.

The farce of equipping Ukraine to fight Russia on the pretext of preventing a full-scale European war is wearing thin.  France has training grounds, and is putting them to use.  Maybe I’m wrong, but it seems to me the specter of you know who becoming president again hangs over most everything.  Not to get too political, but when has the leader of a powerful nation not been important?

Another scandal broke this week.  They’re flying “vetted” foreigners all over the country, but couldn’t tell anyone.  It might compromise the safety of the migrants!   It’s a free-for-all in Haiti.  Crimes we dare not imagine are being committed.  That’s one of the places they’re flying in from, all properly vetted, we’re sure.  They can commit crimes hand over fist, it’s almost accepted.  You better not get in their way.  What are you, prejudiced?

The crime wave has already begun.  You see snippets of it on the news, but that’s not the half of it.  We’ll probably never know the extent of immigrant crime. The authorities are making sure we don’t.  Are they going to have to impose martial law to protect Americans from the immigrants?  They’ve already got the National Guard checking bags in the New York subway.  Are we all going to have to submit to humiliating “checks” to go somewhere?  It’s already happening.

I hope feelings are not running as hot as the comments on news sites.  The news media keeps playing along as if everything is normal, and people know nothing is normal.  Much is being made of Biden’s “black eyes” and there’s a lot of speculation.  None good.  The mainstream is touting the speech as having been “fiery.”  That teleprompter really told us off.

We still have no idea how many times, or with who-all we’ve been compromised.  The family business takes precedence, and it’s none of our business.  The first son walked out of his deposition looking confident.  But there are problems.  One of them was confirming that Daddy is the big guy.  Other witnesses have been interviewed, and there are some…contradictions.  

For days they’ve been touting a cease-fire in the Israel-Gaza war.  Meanwhile…  Things are not going too well between the pretender and Netanyahu.  “It’s disproportionate!” the critics cry about the Israeli response.  I hope you don’t have I-24 news, it’ll break your heart.  Listening to the anguish of close family members of the hostages, or those murdered on October 7 may not be good for your peace of mind.  Israel it seems, doesn’t want this to happen again, ever.  All the diplomatic pressure in the world can’t penetrate the anger and the grief they must feel.  U. S. diplomats have no idea, certainly Biden hasn’t a clue.

We’re still shocked about these demonstrations.  Where did these people come from?  Do they have no idea the atrocities that were committed?  What are they demonstrating about?  They need to have their faces rubbed in the atrocities.  Or better yet, get an all expenses paid trip to the war zone.

No matter, they’re filling the streets to “make their voices heard” in support of Hamas.  Lloyd Austin or Anthony Blinkin take center stage to urge caution.   But the Israeli spokesmen say the job won’t be done until Hamas is no more.   Are the Israelis supposed to stand by and see homes invaded by terrorists?  The butchery these animals committed is too gruesome to discuss.

Apparently the Israeli soldiers are planning to pump sea water into the tunnels.  They keep finding weapons stashed, under schools and hospitals.  The terrorists are counting on Israel to not violate places where there are children or sick people.  Meanwhile they’re still holding hostages.  These “brave fighters” need innocent people to hide behind.  

The war is back on after a cease fire that was violated.  One thing you learn after a while, deals with terrorists are no good.

We’re not hearing too much about Ukraine these days.  It was front and center while they were raising money.  Now, hardly anybody’s talking about it.  Because Ukraine doesn’t stand a chance against Russia, whatever the arguments.  

When have you ever seen a display such as this?  Hunter is in big trouble.  Joe is implicated, and knows he has to run again to keep control of the situation.  Now his son is facing criminal indictment in California, and he has to be concerned about what will be revealed.  If it’s true that these guys sold out the United States for…  I can’t tell you what for.  Apparently they live way high on the hog, beyond their visible means.  They put up a graphic on television showing the categories the money was spent on.  It’s not good.

The border situation is worse than ever.  This morning they showed LIVE video, and it’s unbelievable.  They’re here from all over the world.  They’re headed to New York or Philadelphia or California.  Apparently it’s the border patrol’s responsibility to make sure they get there.  We’re being invaded.  Maybe most of them don’t have bad intentions, they’re just taking advantage of a wide open border into the United States.  But it doesn’t take many with ill intent.

Have you heard?  They’re starting up about masks again.  Will Americans listen?  I think masks are a symbol, and not much more.  You can see at a glance who believes what they’re saying on the news, and who doesn’t know or care.  Let’s hope we’re not in for another round.  Where is the little doctor anyway?  Maybe he’ll make another appearance, and we can resume where we left off.  But the CDC has lost credibility, and only the truly indoctrinated will mask up again.   

The media’s current fancy is that if ever allowed near the Oval Office again, Trump would be a dictator.  Did Liz Cheney start this?  They’re saying he’ll be as bad as the worst history has ever seen.  Hannity asked Trump about it in an interview this week.  Trump said he’d be a dictator on day one only.  He’d close the border and unleash drilling for oil.  Now every liberal outlet is worrying aloud about it.  There are bigger things to worry about.  We should be so lucky.

The news of the day is the release of hostages from Gaza back to Israel.  They’ll all have stories to tell.  What, are we supposed to have respect for the terrorists now?  No doubt, people who are getting their loved ones back are ecstatic.  People who are being released are full of joy.  But the terrorists aren’t releasing everybody.  They’re still hiding behind most of the hostages.  Now they’ll try to wring concessions out of Israel.  

Qatar is being used as the middleman.  It kind of makes you sick, realizing that terrorists are being negotiated with at all, but they took hostages.  And they’re always bragging about how brave they are.  Give me a break!

Geert Wilders is a name we’ve known for some time in Dutch politics.  He’s been, let’s say unimpressed with the importation of Muslims into Holland.  He was actually banned from travel to England.  What he’s said was too incendiary, and the Brits were afraid there would be trouble if he came to England.  A member of the House of Lords invited him to screen his film entitled Fitna, which calls the Koran a fascist book and links scenes of terrorist attacks with “scripture.”  It drives the Muslims berserk.  But now he has a chance to form a government in Holland, and it will mean having to deal with former political enemies.  The EU is mighty concerned.  It could upend their whole agenda, saving the planet and importing Muslims into Europe.  

That’s not the only concern for the worldwide woke agenda.  In Argentina Javier Milei has won the election and is threatening to shake things up. Inflation is running at 150%, and he has big plans to fix it. According to Reuters, “His plans include shutting the central bank, ditching the peso, slashing spending…”  He supports the United States and is routinely called the Donald Trump of Argentina. Maybe he’s going to put his country on the U. S. dollar.

As you know, North Korea successfully put a spy satellite in orbit with the help of the Russians.  Kim Jong Un has apparently made friends with Putin, so North Korean rockets don’t blow up on the launch pad.  

All in all, everything’s not going according to plan. Saving the planet has taken a backseat to the Middle East war. People who don’t believe in their master plan to crack down on westerners who don’t have time for their machinations have been elected in Holland and Argentina. Uh oh.

How this hasn’t yet fallen apart under its own weight is a mystery. After years of indoctrination, the theory is getting old. They’re having to discount battery cars, and they’re still not selling. Global warming or otherwise, people like to get where they’re going.  

Things are falling apart for the current administration too. Let me count the ways. Joe is in a lot of trouble. Whether he knows or not is unclear. But there’s evidence piling up and subpoenas being handed out.  We just might get another respite.  

It’s hard to watch the news. We’ve just observed Thanksgiving here in America, and God has blessed this nation beyond comprehension thanks to Abraham. The Middle East?  Europe? We’ll just have to watch it play out. Luckily we have the outline.

Maui has gone from paradise to a war zone.  Many of the buildings in Lahaina were historic.  Old wood buildings that have been there a long time.  You don’t need me to tell you, it’s wall to wall on TV.  Lost people, no communications, it’s unbelievable.  Even the surface of the water was on fire.  They’ll rebuild in time, but the lush surroundings have been reduced to ash.  You expect fires in Hawaii to be the result of some lava flow, but these fires came from another source.  The people in the middle of it need our prayers.

Cargo ship fires are burning up thousands of vehicles, thought to have been started by electric cars. Rolls Royces, Mercedes, Porches, and 20 Lamborghinis, and they’re worried the fires, burning for days, may be hazardous.  The insurance companies will be on the hook.  I wonder if they have policies that cover electric cars burning up ships.  They will.

You’ve noticed that a Special Counsel has been appointed to investigate the Hunter Biden matters.  That probably means we won’t hear another word for a long time.  You know the routine.  “We can’t discuss anything, because it’s under investigation.”  Meanwhile, everything gets worse.  The pretender mumbles his way through one public appearance after another, and it’s insufferable.  The mainstream has that quizzical look on their faces, as if they see nothing wrong.

The evidence of malfeasance is coming in a flood.  Stories are changing to fit verified realities.  We can all rest easy now that a Special Counsel has been appointed.  In reality, it’s a defensive move designed to relieve the principles, or anybody else the necessity of having to answer questions.  Who was appointed, again?  Meanwhile, the mainstream news just doesn’t understand.  

Now comes news that Biden is paying $6 billion for the release of hostages in Iran?  But I thought the U. S. didn’t pay ransom money. This is going to make news.

We half expect another indictment of Donald Trump.  Bad news for Biden is often followed by a Trump indictment.  Larry Kudlow has shown a chart that illustrates just that.  No more than a day or two passes between bad news for the pretender and worse news for you know who.  The news stations are no longer carrying Donald Trump’s speeches, but you can find them on the internet.  They better hope they get him this time, because he’s signaling that it’s no more Mr. Nice Guy if he gets re-elected.  There are so many charges swirling, surely they’ll convict him on something!  

How is this not election interference? This third world country behavior is getting out of hand.  You have only to look at the countries in South America to see that it’s not unusual for the one in power to use leverage to get his opponent locked up.  Or killed.  It’s almost cliche.  It’s starting to look like the rest of central and south America’s population is coming too.  Donald Trump says that when he gets reelected, the U. S. will carry out the largest deportation in the history of the United States.  Something like Dwight Eisenhower did, only bigger.

The Texas governor has placed big yellow buoys in the middle of the Rio Grande to block the path of migrants.  The federal government says we can’t do that, and it looks like the argument will see a courtroom.  Meanwhile, it is apparent that the Mexican drug cartels control most of the southern border.  They’re showing some long-range photos of coyotes with rifles, apparently operating on the U. S. side of the border.  

What else can befall the United States?  We’ve been sold out, involved in a war we don’t know why we’re fighting, and led by someone who’s been making loads of money from unfriendly foreign nations.  What could go wrong?  If we don’t get a few things straight, and soon, we’ll probably find out.  God will not be mocked.

Sure hope the pretender doesn’t get in more trouble.  Every time he or his reprobate son gets bad news, they indict Trump for something else.  Except this isn’t something else.  Don’t hold me to it, but chances are the powers that be are going to be sorry they ever dreamed this up.  Having heard the logic behind the latest indictment, it’s the same ole, same ole.  The brilliant legal strategy the “special council” has come up with ends up with Trump denying voters their rightful vote.  What?

It’s very inventive the way they’ve structured the argument.  Whether it dies a very public and embarrassing death remains to be seen.  Laurence Tribe (respected lawyer) said it was brilliant the way Jack Smith had tailored the charges.  When I heard the upshot, I almost laughed out loud.  So, Trump “conspired” to make people’s lawful votes not count?  This is going to be great!

A risky peek at CNN, and they’re back to a panel that fills the screen.  The pretender (big guy) is in more trouble than ever, but they’re full of dark suspicions on the panels.  Why, Trump tried to overthrow the elections!  TV time is burnt like it’s worthless, speculations about how Trump committed treason.  They better be careful what they ask for, they’re liable to find themselves in the spotlight.  Trump says he’s only one indictment away from winning the next election.  At least he’s got a sense of humor, unlike all the talking heads.  

American policies have been sold.  We know the parameters, but the media is still in the dark.  They pretend not to understand what the rest of us know.  If the pretender was smart, he’d resign.  Due to medical complications, of course.  But Dr. Jill probably won’t give up the perks.  So we’ll all have to suffer more of this.  

The war in Ukraine better have nothing to do with Biden shenanigans.  Why is it that the U. S. is spending many times what the Europeans are, and it’s on their doorstep.  Meanwhile, the Ukranian prosecutor that Biden got fired says there was an attempt on his life.  They’re calling him names on the liberal sites, and saying his claim is preposterous.  We may never know.  You can read about it, the liberal outlets said he’s just in bad health and had an episode.  But there are medical claims that he was suffering from mercury poisoning.  Seems like this happened once-

You probably heard, the ratings agencies have downgraded U. S. debt, again.  Now we’re two stages below optimum.  Is our paper currency going to become worth less?  It already is, especially at the gas station.  The question is whether or not the value of the dollar will crash, hard.  So, who is purchasing U. S. debt?  The Federal Reserve, and…  

America is spending money on foolishness, and adding it to the national debt.  Surely the next couple of generations will understand.  We get the global warming nonsense from every car maker, as if we’re all going to buy battery cars.  They’ve lost millions for the manufacturers, and ships carrying electric cars keep burning down with high-end cars on board.  Gas burners.  The car companies may have to be bailed out again, but this time on account of doing the government’s bidding.  No doubt everyone will be made whole.  Just add it to the debt. 

I guess we’ve learned the hard way, they’ll tell us anything.  Nothing is off limits.  It’s hard to say whether the U. S. will survive in the long run.  The people who have circled the wagons around the pretender hate this country.  Can the United States succeed and prosper when we have leaders that hate everything we stand for?  Or are we being punished for all the nonsense by rotten individuals that have been allowed to take us down?  The Lord works in mysterious ways.

It turns out that wealthy people are fleeing California.  The natural beauty of the place is hard to overstate.  But the politicians have ruined paradise.  The cities are overrun with criminality, and “homeless.”  No way the squatters could afford to live on the real estate where they’ve pitched their tent.  I guess you can live anywhere you want.  Just pitch a tent, and settle down.  The video is unbelievable.  How have they allowed this to happen?  

People are getting out, and who can blame them?  There are still places in this country where vagrants and illegals are not welcome to establish their quarters.  Who wants to have to live amid squalor?  Californians are leaving for greener pastures.

Can you remember a week like the one we just had?  The wheels are coming off the pretender’s administration.  Jonathan Turley says it’s the biggest scandal of his lifetime.  This makes Watergate look like tiddlywinks.  The list of names ripe for impeachment is as long as your leg.  There are calls for a special council, which in our experience means that we’ll find out something in a couple of years.

You know the news.  It’s as if there are competing headlines.  The department of injustice is determined to match the Biden revelations with even more bad news for Trump.  Just when we’re all wondering if Biden dares appear in public again, more charges against you know who.  It was already death by a thousand cuts.  A few more charges will surely be the final nail in his coffin.  Or, will it end up being a demonstration of just how corrupt our national agencies have become? 

There are big, maybe insurmountable problems looming.  We think we’re being punished now?  The embarrassment of what we’re about to live through is off the chart.  It’s already making headlines around the world.  It’s going to get messy.  The White House spokeslady has proclaimed that the pretender will not pardon his son.  Uh oh.  I got the impression that was the ace in the hole.  You’ve seen those knowing, impassioned looks in the photos.  I assumed that’s what that was all about.  We can only imagine what is about to transpire.  It’s going to be hideous.  

Some of us remember the humiliation of Watergate.  It wasn’t just another newsworthy event.  What apparently has been taking place under everyone’s noses is beyond anything this country has ever undergone.  

But we’re supposed to carry on.  This is the hand we’ve been dealt.  America cannot sustain the path the government, the media and the big corporations have led us down.  We’re bombarded with the modern version of righteousness all the time.  Now you’re righteous if you’re working toward equity, diversity and inclusion.  It wouldn’t hurt if you’re all about saving the planet too.

Meanwhile, we’ve been sold down the river.  What, in fact, is the war in Ukraine all about?  It seems like we’re supplying the equipment, but otherwise not involved.  It is a ridiculous charade, and accurate news is sparse.  We’ll all hope not, but there have been hints that some of the previous nefarious activity in Ukraine may have something to do with ongoing policies.  Better not.  

Do you get the impression that the United States is being punished for something?  We’re going to be drug through some pretty disheartening events in the foreseeable future.  Apparently somebody wants to guarantee that there’s no going back.  We can keep whistling past the graveyard, but the penalties for our national sins may be severe.

It was revealed in court papers filed on Tuesday that Hunter Biden has agreed to plead guilty to two criminal misdemeanors of failing to pay income tax in 2017 and 2018. The charges carry a maximum prison sentence of up to 12 months each.

He is also facing a separate felony gun charge for illegal possession of a firearm by a person prohibited, but could avoid prosecution on that charge and potentially have it dismissed as part of the agreement with the Justice Department.
