A raid at a sex and human trafficking operation in San Antonio operated by members of Tren de Aragua gang (TdA) resulted in at least 140 illegal immigrants being arrested, authorities said Monday.

The raid was part of a joint operation between the Texas Department of Public Safety and federal and local authorities, Texas Gov. Gregg Abbott said.

On Monday, a regional Homeland Security Task Force was created to combat transnational criminal organizations. The aim of the task force is to dismantle drug cartels, foreign terrorist organizations, and criminal networks responsible for crimes like human trafficking, drug smuggling, and money laundering.

Russia and China are linking up, with a some help from little rocket man.  China held its military parade this week, and they’re claiming to have a laser weapon.  If this is not mere bravado it’ll be a cause for concern.  We live in a time like no other, where technology and politics collide.  

I guess you saw the blowing up of the drug boat.  If you didn’t, check it out.  The danger is we can’t go to war with everybody.  Or maybe we can.  We’ve sent military ships off Venezuela’s coast, we’ll see what happens.

The media is very concerned about the make-up on Trump’s hand.  Imagine how many hands he has to shake.  That gets a little old, when you have to think before you reach.  Years ago I had a similar situation, and it felt like my funny bone was involved.  That’s not Trump’s problem, but some people may just get carried away shaking the President’s hand.  He’s obviously using make up.  I just withheld my hand.

The Catholics are all about some kid they call “God’s influencer,” a blasphemous term if there ever was one.  This kid checked all the boxes, and the Catholics deified him.  They think if they get enough people on board that men on earth can give somebody a boost on their way to heaven.  Wait until they find out that doesn’t work.  Especially a bunch of guys who think they’re holy, making God’s decisions.   How arrogant do you have to be?  They have a new pope, same as the old pope.  They think they get to decide a person’s plight in the afterlife, and they’ve got some kid they are about to send to heaven.  

ICE is showing up at places that have a lot of illegal immigrants, and it’s hurting some businesses.  But Trump’s promise was to get them out.  I guess Americans don’t want those jobs, especially when there are others willing to work for less.  But this is going to be another place all together when Trump gets through. The mainstream is trying to tell us that Trump is violating people’s rights, but they’re violating our laws by being here illegally.

We’re still waiting for round 2 of the talks designed to call off the war in Ukraine.  Meanwhile the Russians are making strides into Ukraine, unleashing some of their largest attacks ever.  Who knows if this is preparatory to the talks, or if they even intend to play ball. Maybe you’ve guessed, I don’t have much respect for Zelensky, but we already know who Putin is.  We hope it gets solved without sparking WWIII, but there’s only so much you can do.  People elsewhere don’t think like we do.  

But we are being blessed now, and thank God.  I hope WWIII is a long way off.

Tate knows the farms around her well. And she says she can see with her own eyes how raids carried out by agents from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in the area’s fields earlier this month, part of President Donald Trump‘s migration crackdown, have frightened off workers.

“In the fields, I would say 70% of the workers are gone,” she said in an interview. “If 70% of your workforce doesn’t show up, 70% of your crop doesn’t get picked and can go bad in one day. Most Americans don’t want to do this work. Most farmers here are barely breaking even. I fear this has created a tipping point where many will go bust.”

We’re going to have to watch carefully to see what happens with this Israel-Iran war. As everybody knows, Israel unleashed numerous strikes on Iranian targets.  They went after Iran’s nuclear program and key people in the regime. We’ll probably never know the details unless the Iranian people rise up and overthrow the Mullahs.  

The overview showing where Israel unleashed its missiles is available to see, but as I write Iran is exploding missiles in Tel Aviv. Trump is trying to get the Iranians to think twice, but they’re true zealots. The Iranian people should have had enough. After all, it was Jimmy Carter who stood by. The Shah fled and the weirdos took over. I doubt that anybody alive can forget it. And then at the last minute, he gave the go-ahead for a raid. But it was too late, and you know the outcome.  That may not have been what he intended, but that’s the way it worked out.  If you revisit the Carter debacle… On second thought, don’t.  It’s too depressing.

But it’s a brand new day, and Iran is feeling pretty tough. Recent years have seen them funding all kinds of terrorist groups, and the guys with turbans are ultimately responsible for a lot of the mayhem we’ve seen. But they are responding.  We’d all hoped that they’d take the opportunity to call the whole thing off and turn peaceful. But that’s not in their nature.  

Let’s hope this thing doesn’t get out of control. We wouldn’t want Russia or China getting involved. Hopefully they don’t want to cross swords with you know who.  No doubt, Iran is mad and wants revenge. It looks like Israel killed at least four or five of Iran’s top commanders, but there’s no shortage of lunatics in the Middle East.

These people lie to themselves and everybody else. They proclaim how brave they are, and that one of them can take out ten or twenty Israelis. I heard it all back in the day. These must be the children of those who were calling the shots back then. You don’t need me to tell you, these people are crazy! They boast and carry on, and you just have to smile and nod. 

Turns out there’s a disagreement between Trump and Newsom. We’ve been watching things go crazy in Los Angeles. I hope this isn’t true, but I read something suggesting that government agencies may be funding the protests. Many a loser has come out and suggested that the riots are just a matter of racial hatred on our part. That has no credibility. We just don’t want the United States to turn out like Mexico.

Peaceful protesters? I guess all those burning cars don’t count. The thing in L. A. is threatening to spread. Suddenly there are reports of marches and protests in places we’ve never heard of. The media is broken-hearted about the treatment of aliens. I’m starting to wonder if the stories about them voting have merit. The way the liberals are acting you might be tempted to wonder. You’ve probably read all about the conundrum and who’s winning the fight. To hear the news tell it, people are really upset about the aliens getting thrown out.  It’s going to take a while.  

I don’t know about you, but I like the United States being on top of things again. At least we’re not fighting everybody in the Middle East. Donald Trump’s visit to Saudi Arabia makes me think that there may be a few sane people in the Middle East, just not the majority.

Just less than half of those detained in raids on seven food processing plants in Bay Springs, Carthage, Canton, Morton, Pelahatchie, and Sebastapol were released from custody Wednesday evening, ICE spokesperson Bryan Cox told the Mississippi Clarion-Ledger Thursday.

Cox said Wednesday afternoon that while everyone detained would be processed, “not everyone is going to be [permanently] detained,” according to the newspaper.

The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Mississippi called the raids, the biggest single-state immigration enforcement operation in history, “unnecessary and cruel.”

“We are deeply concerned that the raids have separated Mississippians’ families, disrupted our local economy, and diverted our state’s limited resources to support Trump’s mass deportation agenda,” ACLU of Mississippi legal director and interim executive director Joshua Tom said in a statement.

“Local law enforcement should refuse to cooperate with the president’s anti-immigrant policies. We stand in solidarity and are committed to helping the families harmed,” he added.

The agency said ICE agents “made cellphones available” to allow detainees to make child-care arrangements, according to the Clarion-Ledger, and said that any couples or single parents with minor children at home were released on humanitarian grounds.

While their parents were detained, numerous children were reportedly left temporarily homeless and made to sleep in a community gym, although all were reportedly returned to either their homes or those of relatives by Wednesday night.

The terms of release for those released were not immediately clear, according to The Associated Press, nor did ICE specify whether those released were determined to be undocumented. ICE had previously said they would release detainees who were pregnant or had not previously faced immigration proceedings.

Now, the ACLU is also jumping on board with their own coaching. They’re also calling illegal aliens, who have been through the court system and determined to have broken federal immigration law, “refugee families.”

“A new wave of ICE arrests is expected to begin this Sunday in at least 10 cities across the country. We’re fighting back by suing to stop mass deportations of refugee families,” the ACLU sent in a fundraising email Friday. “Know this: We don’t have to open the door if ICE comes knocking. If the agents don’t have a warrant signed by a judge, then we can refuse to let them in. We have the right to remain silent. And we shouldn’t sign anything before speaking to a lawyer.”

“ICE raids are nothing new. But for over two years now, the Trump administration has been terrorizing our communities at a new level – tearing thousands of families apart, spreading fear and hate. If this isn’t the kind of country we want to live in, then we must keep fighting to defend our communities,” the email continues. “The best way to fight back? Know your rights. And help your family, friends, and neighbors to know theirs.”

On Friday morning, President Trump told reporters at the White House he has an obligation to carry out ICE raids against those who have already been told to leave.

“People come into our country illegally.  We’re taking them out legally.  It’s very simple.  It’s not something I like doing, but people have come into our country illegally,” Trump said. “We’re focused on criminals.  We’re focused on — if you look at MS-13 — but when people come into our country, we take those people out and we take them out very legally.  They all have papers.  And it’s a process.  And I have an obligation to do it.  They came in illegally; they go out legally.”
