Greetings from Tyler,

Does it seem like things are building to some kind of crescendo? The mainstream sources of information have been holding back the onslaught, but the levy’s about to break. Material is now circulating freely, and at some point the legacy media will have to save its own credibility. You can bet they’re figuring out how to handle it right now.

No doubt you’ve noticed. The “save the planet” contingent wants us to eat meatless meat. That way they can justify getting rid of those pesky cows, contributing to methane in the atmosphere. Maybe you didn’t see the massive revolt in Holland. It only lasted a day, but it was a message that farmers are not about to put up with EU regulations that hamper their efforts and in some cases may put them out of business all together. They blocked highways, ports and spewed manure at government buildings. Let’s just say they’re displeased. Not hearing about this on the mainstream news? They can’t afford to let you know that somebody’s got the guts to blow off environmental nonsense.

Tucker Carlson is going where the mainstream dare not tread. He showed the extensive video of the mob swarming the streets and government buildings. Sri Lanka went green. They had other problems. They borrowed way too much money, and can’t begin to pay it back. Farms shut down on account of nitrogen fertilizer damaging the environment, so there’s a food shortage. Nothing seems to get people into a rage like a food shortage. The video is something out of a high budget film. The leaders fled a few days ago, no doubt brimming with pride over their ESG score. They can’t go back.

There’s all kinds of controversy over tennis great Novak Djokovic and whether he’ll be allowed entry into the United States. It seems he’s a foreigner without a vaccine. Maybe he should consider the southern border, they don’t have many requirements, and Then just show up at the tournament. Maybe the tennis association will look the other way. Unbelievable that the government is flexing mandate muscle this long after the fact. Australia pulled this stunt, to its shame. Novak likes his internal chemistry and doesn’t want to take a chance. Power can be exercised capriciously just so we all get it through our thick heads. You WILL comply or they’ll dream up a punishment.

We don’t know anybody that knows anybody, but the local news is rife with Corona virus outbreaks. They’re advising shots for toddlers and infants, as if we haven’t heard about the “rare” harm that may ensue. Word is that masks and vaccines are still on the table, and we’ve been advised to take action. Though it seems that the vaccine and booster shots are not particularly effective. But that kind of talk will get you canceled.

Educated people are warning that vaccines sometimes have unforeseen consequences. You know how they warn you of all the rare things that might happen if you take some advertised drug. In this case the drug companies are immune from whatever legal problems that might arise. So, how bad does Novak want to play in the U. S. Open? Not that bad. Maybe this seems off the subject, but it is global institutions calling the shots. The WHO (used to be a rock band) or the WEC. They don’t require logic. When Dr. Fauci speaks…

The City of New York is airing a public service announcement telling people what to do in case of nuclear attack. And you thought they hated everything about the 1950’s. That’s the last time we were schooled about nuclear attack. The pretender seems to be doing everything but sending troops to Ukraine to tick Putin off. Let’s hope he doesn’t have a terminal disease. Putin, that is. The pretender is in tremendous trouble, and probably won’t last more than a few months, in office that is. The mainstream media is beginning to abandon the impossible defense. The poll numbers are atrocious but
we suspect not near as bad as the truth.

These people (the pretender’s family) have got to be experiencing tremendous anguish. The kind that overtakes a person. It’s a weight, a cloud, a nightmare they hope to wake up from. But now it’s all over TV and there’s no escaping the damning video. There’s no denying the phone message everybody’s heard by now. It gives the lie to previous statements. The worst of escapades were filmed , and now it’s being released to the media. The mainstream media mostly knows nothing about it. But it’s all over TV and the internet. Still, they know nothing except it must be Russian propaganda. That dog won’t hunt. We’re not even going to describe the low rent conduct here. Good luck trying to hide this stuff now.

Apparently the January 6 committee is still going. Headlines in the mainstream claim that Trump has lost half of his support. (Right!) But their record for trying to herd us has not gone unnoticed. The headlines have been steering us wrong for as long as we can remember. The near universal mainstream hatred of Trump and his supporters has been obvious right along. It seems there is an effort to disqualify him permanently from office, and convince his supporters that they’d have to be crazy to back him. Why are they in such a hurry? It’s their last chance. Or who knows, maybe they’ll try again if this doesn’t do the trick.

There is ongoing fallout from the Supreme Court decision. There’s a reported bounty on Justices’ home addresses, and they might have to use the rear exit if dining out. The news reporting on the nonexistent “right” doesn’t seem quite accurate. In essence the Court washed it’s hands of the issue, sending it back to each individual state. But there are ramifications. You’ve no doubt seen that a long list of familiar corporate names have lined up to pay the expenses of a woman needing to go to another state.

The inflation rate was just released, and you know the result. Just over 9%. That’s spread out over a whole range of products. Chances are you buy more gasoline than other goods. In that case we’re talking way more than the number being reported. We know what gas is costing. Everybody, save the wealthy who can’t be bothered, just got a giant demotion. Take-home pay isn’t what it used to be.

The Pretender is embarrassing himself all over the Middle East at present. Don’t show us the gaffes. We can’t take it. He’s on bended knee before some of our worst enemies, and not a bit shy.

Much has been made of the poor old codger doing somebody’s dirty work, and blaming everyone else. As soon as he’s outlived his usefulness he’ll get all the blame, but the damage will have been done. It is being done. This one’s complicated, but God knows what’s up. We don’t need to stress too much. His Will definitely will be done, regardless.

Mark

Greetings from Tyler,

We didn’t know how the world could be so upside down. Prosecutors seem to be on the side of criminals. How is it that violent felons get off with a slap on the wrist, to go out and wreak mayhem? We have the unbelievable situation where Supreme Court justices are being heckled at their homes with people in the streets banging drums and shouting chants. Not that that’s not a crime, and a serious one. But it seems they’re doing the bidding of those that loved the sacred “right” the Supreme Court gave them back in the Seventies. Somebody with a gun apparently told Police he was there to “kill Kavanaugh.” These political criminals aren’t the smartest in the world. But they do have a support group that shrugs and says, “I told you we were going to have problems.”

“He will pay the price!” That’s what an angry politician said about Brett Kavanaugh, suspecting that he’s swayed the court against Roe vs. Wade. Is this the price? “You won’t know what hit you!” Those sound like intemperate remarks. But what do you know? He was right. Must be a touch clairvoyant.

We’re not about to recount all the problems that have been caused since the suspicious election. What we know for sure is that we’re deep into Jimmy Carter territory. If you were up and running, you’ll remember that as the most humiliating and depressing experience ever. Until now.

Interest rates haven’t yet reached the heights of the early Eighties, but everything else is not good. We see examples of criminals visiting violence on unsuspecting citizens, and they’re right back out committing additional crimes. It’s a trend. We just can’t watch all the idiotic decisions being made, or the excuses made for everything going wrong. Nothing makes sense anymore, and we get hammered about discrimination or bigotry for refusing to celebrate, or “honor” ridiculous movements determined to rope everybody in. If you don’t celebrate “pride month,” you must be a bigoted discriminator. Just one question. What are they so proud about? I don’t think that has ever been answered. But if you don’t celebrate pride month, you might be a bigot. Nobody will tell these goofballs how stupid this all is. Who would dare!

We’re expected to believe, or if not, at least pretend to believe all the nonsense that spews from the mainstream. Last night they treated us to some slickly produced propaganda. It was on at least eight channels LIVE. I heard some of the opening statements, despite not watching the charade in its entirety. The upshot is that President Trump had a plan to overthrow the government, and the “insurrection” was the result. Don’t say it wasn’t an insurrection, or some heads might explode. So, it was an insurrection that Donald Trump devised, and you must repeat that and at least pretend to believe it, or you might be an accomplice.

There’s never been anything as bad as Trump, or any supporters that haven’t denounced him. The committee chairman on the podium on TV news and on the radio said that attempts to justify what actually happened on Jan. 6 reminds him of slavery, the Ku Klux Klan and I don’t know what all. Let’s all line up and feel for the poor guy. Of all the things that were going to turn the public against Donald Trump or make you afraid to stand for any of the values of the United States, this may have been the weakest. You haven’t forgotten COLLUSION with Russia, the lead story for two years. Nor the impeachment over a phone call. This was hopefully the last attempt to falsify the record and present something of substance. It failed to live up to the hype, despite all the grim faces. They edited statements and audio clips as if we didn’t know that the full statements blew their whole theory. They’ve done it before. We’re wise to it.

If against all odds there should be a resurgence of Trump support or the man should have any further success in politics, you can expect more. Not only that, we all better get used to being targeted. Nothing we believe lines up with these new “values” that are all over television or the internet. Nobody will say the obvious. Pride month can’t be over soon enough. It’s just designed to make us go along, or get used to wearing some stupid labels. I’ll take the labels any day. There comes a time when you just have to say, “NO!”

Mark

Greetings from Tyler,

Justice is fallen in the streets. I guess you heard about the acquittal in what looked like a slam-dunk case. It has political overtones, but it threatened to answer most of the questions that were obvious to those watching. If it had gone the other way, it would have been fun to see how the mainstream handled it. If the truth ever spills in to the mainstream we’re going to find out a litany of things that we already knew but the mainstream will never report. Is that it? All these years of investigations and the only case brought goes down in flames? Oh there’s more, lots more. We’re just wondering if any of it will ever see the light of day. So far it looks like the goon squad may get away with what they did. They used the power of government and some agencies in particular to carry out operations against their perceived enemies. Will it ever get straightened out? It’s looking doubtful.

We’ve been grappling with what to do with the next WATCH magazine cover. No, I’m not going to give it away. But it’s looking like the government can do whatever they want to beat down and impoverish the citizens, and nothing is their fault. It’s Putin’s fault. The gas prices? Yep, Putin. Food shortages? They’ve been predicted, now it looks like all the stops will be pulled out to make that come true. Oh, that’s the corporations. Corporations that are determined to play government ball at any cost.

We’re drowning in crises. Well, crises to us anyway. The politicians are strutting around like they’re saving the planet. Gas has gone over budget, way over. Food is following suit, and we haven’t seen anything yet. That will be Putin’s fault too, wait and see. The only silver lining is that America-haters have to buy gas and groceries too. They’re going to react when they figure out they’ve been slapped back a peg or two. They’ll probably get some government handout to ease the pain. Maybe their student debt will be canceled. Yeah, the people who work can pick that up. The government is spewing money as fast as they can print it, in spite of roaring inflation. But act like they don’t have a clue.

You can’t have missed the monumental amount of military aid for Ukraine. So what’s the goal? There is no plan? You mean… Who can stand it? Apparently they’re cleared to make life miserable for citizens, and they couldn’t be any happier. Who’s they? They’re at the microphones telling us how proud they are. You can’t miss them. You’d think Ukraine was attached to government somehow. You’d be right. The same lame-brains are trying to put us all back in masks, those that ever wore them. The cancellation of the “mandate” for airlines is being appealed. Never mind that Europe has canceled theirs. Since when have the nations of Europe ever been a model for us? We’re not who we thought we were, not since the pretender and his handlers started calling the shots. Obama is so jealous? No, Obama is taking the stairs two, maybe three at a time. He had to pretend to be on our side. The pretender doesn’t.

Not to alarm you, but a Russian TV show is talking about how easy it would be to take out the eastern seaboard of the United States. Putin apparently is getting treated for some ailment, maybe cancer. It probably wouldn’t pay to play chicken with him, having nothing to lose and all. That would spell tribulation all right, and it’s the last thing we’re rooting for. Pray that we get through this intact, and emerge as the nation we were intended to be. Sounds like a long shot, but it is our hope.

Mark

Greetings from Tyler,

You can’t escape the news of the school shooting in Uvalde, TX. But the story has taken several surprising twists. Apparently there are protocols for this kind of thing. Police don’t just storm in and take control of the situation. Despite the fact that the shooter was inside the school, killing children, police were outside arguing with distressed parents. There’s plenty of video of the police holding panicked parents at bay while nobody knew what was going on inside. We don’t have the whole story. It will trickle out through eyewitnesses in the days ahead. But the press conferences and explanations as to the actions of law enforcement don’t sound very good. We support law enforcement and expect them to take action against the shooter immediately, especially when the lives of little children are at stake. Listening to the spokesmen talk about the need for “specialized equipment” while seeing parents held at bay by police is not a very good look.

We have yet to feel the brunt of inflation. It may cost $100 to fill your tank, but everything we buy is on the rise. With fuel costing double already, the increase will be applied to every single thing we buy. We may already be in recession, but it’s not official yet.

You’ve noticed that news from the war in Ukraine is dying out. Our tormentors voted to insert $40 billion of U. S. aid into the fray. Surely some of that must go to replace America’s dwindling supply of some items. Who knows. At the rate things are going we might need them. The pretender seemed to say that we’d intervene if China tries to take Taiwan militarily.

Maybe it wasn’t the smartest thing in the world to outsource the production of electronic chips to a country China says belongs to the regime. We don’t even want to have to imagine what life will look like if manufacturing is dependent on items that are unavailable.

There is growing evidence that the short supply and soaring prices of gas and diesel is intentional. It’s looking, and sounding, more and more like this is part of the plan to “save the planet” by forcing everyone into modes of transportation that are impractical, expensive, and anything but “green.” It’s unbelievable that everybody’s been thrown into an economic tailspin due to canceled pipelines and oil exploration being placed off limits. The last thing we need is some nonsense speech about “when this is all over.” We can’t help but wonder what the world will look like once they’ve “saved the planet.”

The WEF (World Economic Forum) has been meeting in Davos, Switzerland. The globalist institution has our future all planned for us. They’d have to run over the Constitution, but there’s not much else standing in their way. Apparently the powers that be want to give enormous powers over to a global body, one that sees the United States as racist, bigoted and unfair. We hope there will be another chapter where we become the light of the world. After all, it’s not the pretender who’ll be around to suffer what he’s wrought. It’s our kids and grandkids. They’ll never forgive us if we allow some jaundiced institution like the WEF to eradicate freedom in the United States.

Maybe they’ll be chasing us around about monkey-pox next.

Mark

Target says inflation will hurt profitability for the rest of the year.

Another disappointing earnings report from a leading U.S. retailer on Wednesday reignited fears that rising consumer prices and aggressive Federal Reserve policy could hurt economic growth, sparking a stock sell-off.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average sank 1,164 points, or 3.57%, to 31,490 in response, while the S&P 500 and tech-heavy Nasdaq dropped 4% and 4.7%, respectively.

Target reported a 52% drop in profits in the first quarter as supply chain issues, as well as rising labor and fuel costs, hit home. The retailer also revealed that it saw lower-than-anticipated discretionary merchandise sales in a worrying sign for consumer spending, causing its shares to drop 25%.

The news follows Walmart’s less-than-stellar earnings report on Tuesday, which saw the company notch its worst two-day stock performance since 1987 as it also warned of the negative effects inflation had on consumer spending in the first quarter. CFO Brett Biggs said during the company’s earnings call that customers traded down to cheaper brands and avoided costly purchases of items like new clothing in the quarter.

“The first quarter was one of the most challenging periods yet related to supply chain disruptions, increased costs, and persistently high inflation,” Biggs said. “We weren’t able to fully address or pass along some of the cost increases and that impacted profit more than expected.”

The underperformance from Target and Walmart dragged the whole retail sector down on Wednesday. Shares of Costco and Dillard’s dropped 12.5% and 17.3%, respectively, while the e-commerce retailer Wayfair ended the day down nearly 14%.

“The consumer is challenged,” Megan Horneman, chief investment officer at Verdence Capital Advisors told CNBC. “We started to see at the end of the year that consumers were turning to credit cards to pay for the rise in food prices, rise in energy prices, and that’s actually gotten much worse.”

Mega cap companies like Amazon and Apple also experienced sell-offs on Wednesday, with shares falling 7.2% and 5.6%, respectively. Crypto markets weren’t immune either, with Bitcoin falling 4% to around $29,000 per coin while the total cryptocurrency market cap fell to 3% to $1.25 trillion.

Federal Reserve policy continues to be a thorn in the side of investors this week. Fed Chair Jerome Powell said at The Wall Street Journal’s The Future of Everything Festival on Tuesday that he would need to see “clear and convincing” evidence that inflation is falling from its nearly four-decade high before he would consider pausing interest rates hikes.

Concerns over global economic growth also took a toll on markets on Wednesday after the U.N. slashed its global growth forecast from 4% to 3.1% for this year.

“We are pricing in a growth scare,” Lori Calvasina at RBC Capital Markets told Bloomberg. “The market is trying to find a bottom here. There is a lot of uncertainty in this market right now about whether or not that recession is going to come.”

Economists expected inflation to rise by 7% in December.

Inflation rose at the fastest pace in nearly four decades in December, as rapid price gains fueled consumer fears about the economy and sent President Biden’s approval rating tumbling.

The consumer price index rose 7% in December from a year ago, according to a new Labor Department report released Wednesday, marking the fastest increase since June 1982, when inflation hit 7.1%. The CPI – which measures a bevy of goods ranging from gasoline and health care to groceries and rents – jumped 0.5% in the one-month period from November.

FED DOUBLES TAPER RATE, EYES THREE INTEREST RATE HIKES IN 2022
https://www.foxbusiness.com/economy/federal-reserve-taper-bond-purchases-december-2021

Economists expected the index to show that prices surged 7% in December from the year-ago period and 0.4% from the previous month.

So-called core prices, which exclude more volatile measurements of food and energy, soared 5.5% in December from the previous year – a sharp increase from November, when it rose 4.9%. It was the steepest 12-month increase since 1991.

Despite the red-hot reading, stock market futures rose following the data release.

Price increases were widespread: Although energy prices fell 1.1% in December from the previous month, they’re still up 29.3% from last year. Gasoline, on average, costs 49.6% than it did last year. Food prices have also climbed 6.3% higher over the year, while used car and truck prices – a major component of the inflation increase – are up 37.3%. Shelter costs, which make up nearly one-third of the total increase, jumped 0.4% for the month and 4.1% year-over-year, the fastest pace since February 2007.

“Inflation at 7% is no joke,” said Seema Shah, chief strategist at Principal Global Investors. “It’s the highest annual CPI number since 1982 and driven not by energy prices, but by just about everything else.” While Shah said December’s number could mark the peak for annual inflation readings amid signs that supply strains are easing, other experts suggested the rampant spread of the omicron variant could bring about new difficulties for the global supply chain.

Rising inflation is eating away at strong gains and wages and salaries that American workers have seen in recent months: Real average hourly earnings rose just 0.1% in December, as the 0.5% inflation increase eroded the 0.6% total wage gain, according to the Labor Department. On an annual basis, real earnings actually declined 2.4%.

The inflation spike has been bad news for President Biden, who has seen his approval rating plunge as consumer prices rose. The White House has blamed the price spike on supply-chain bottlenecks and other pandemic-induced disruptions in the economy, while Republicans have pinned it on the president’s massive spending agenda.

The eye-popping reading – which marked the seventh consecutive month the gauge has been above 5% – will likely amp up pressure on the Federal Reserve to begin hiking interest rates as soon as March in order to combat the recent price surge. Hiking interest rates tends to create higher rates on consumers and business loans, which slows the economy by forcing them to cut back on spending.

“The Federal Reserve will most likely raise interest rates earlier than anticipated to control inflation,” said Dawit Kebede, senior economist at the Credit Union National Association. “This is in addition to ending its support for the economy in the form of large asset purchases. This will raise the cost of borrowing for consumers and will reduce excess demand for goods.”

Chairman Jerome Powell has already signaled the U.S. central bank plans to speed up its withdrawal of support for the U.S. economy in order to combat inflation, which has been higher and longer lasting than policymakers initially expected.

“As we move through this year, if things develop as expected, we’ll be normalizing policy, meaning we’re going to end our asset purchases in March, meaning we’ll be raising rates over the course of the year,” Powell told the Senate Banking Committee during his confirmation hearing on Tuesday. “At some point perhaps later this year we will start to allow the balance sheet to run off, and that’s just the road to normalizing policy.”

The GOP representative argues Biden has ‘given’ Americans ‘record crime,’ inflation

Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, slammed the Biden administration on Sunday for doing “everything wrong.”

During an exclusive interview with “Sunday Morning Futures” the congressman argued that President Biden has “given” Americans “record crime” and inflation during his first year in office.

Jordan made the comments three days after it was revealed that annual inflation is running at the hottest pace in nearly four decades as widespread supply disruptions, extraordinarily high consumer demand and worker shortages fuel rapidly rising price increases.

Prices soared by 5.7% through November, according to the Personal Consumption Expenditures price index data released Thursday morning. That topped the previous month’s rate of 5%, becoming the fastest pace increase since February 1982, when the gauge hit 6.17%.

The inflation spike largely reflected surging energy costs, which rose 34% from a year ago, and food costs, which were up 5.6% over that same time period. Services inflation rose by 4.3% in November, and goods inflation increased 8.5% – up from the 7.6% pace a month prior, the data shows.

MANCHIN SAYS HE ‘CANNOT VOTE’ FOR BUILD BACK BETTER: ‘I’VE DONE EVERYTHING HUMANLY POSSIBLE’

“The American people would like safe streets, they’d like affordable gas and they’d like freedom,” Rep. Jordan argued on Sunday. “Instead what Biden is giving them is record crime, record inflation and Dr. Fauci.”

“You pick the policy area, they’ve [The Biden administration has] done it wrong,” he added.

Jordan then argued that in “literally in 11 months,” the country “went from safe streets to record crime.”

“We went from a secure border to complete chaos,” he continued. “We went from stable prices to now record inflation. We went from projecting strength around the world to the debacle that was the exit in Afghanistan.”

A White House spokesperson did not immediately respond to Fox News’ request for comment.

Rep. Jordan also said that Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., “stays firm and this crazy so-called ‘Build Back Better’ bill never passes.”

Speaking on “Fox News Sunday,” Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., declared last Sunday that after months of negotiations he has determined that there is no way he can support Biden’s massive social spending bill known as the Build Back Better Act.

Manchin said that he has spoken with President Biden, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., but could not reach an agreement on the legislation.

He said that between ongoing inflation, the national debt, “geopolitical unrest,” and the COVID-19 pandemic, the bill being pushed by his fellow Democrats was too much.

“When you have these things coming at you the way they are right now … I cannot vote to continue with this piece of legislation,” he said, stating that if he cannot explain to his constituents why he would vote for a bill, then he cannot vote for it, despite all the work he and other Democrats have put into trying to make it work.
