The Hamas terrorist organization is calling for a Day of Rage in Judea and Samaria areas over the weekend, including demonstrations and violent clashes with Israeli forces as well as blocking roads and confrontations with Israeli citizens.

The Day of Rage is planned in protest of the “Jewish aggression in the Al-Aqsa Mosque” and to mark the 54th anniversary of the Six-Day War, which the Arabs mark as the Naksa Day (day of the setback) after failing to annihilate the Jewish State.

The IDF is preparing itself for the events but has yet to dispatch enforcements to the area.

IDF Special Forces arrested on Tuesday night senior Hamas official in Judea and Samaria, Sheikh Jamal Tawil.

The Duvedevan undercover unit captured him in Ramallah.

The IDF stated that Tawil is one of the senior members of the Hamas terrorist organization in Judea and Samaria, and has recently taken an active part in organizing riots, incitement to violence, and the re-establishment of the Hamas headquarters in Ramallah.

The IDF has been operating forcefully in recent weeks to arrest Hamas leaders and curb the terror organization’s influence in the region.

(May 10, 2020 / MEMRI) Hamas MP Yunis al-Astal said in a parliament session last week that Israeli annexation of parts of Judea and Samaria would constitute a crime against the will of Allah, and called for the parliament to recommend the murder of Jews “wherever they may be found.”

In the May 6 session, which aired on Hamas’ Al-Aqsa TV, al-Astal said that the Jews were “the most corrupt of Allah’s creatures,” and that annexation went against Allah’s will for them, which was that they suffer “humiliation, misery, and wrath.” The Jews, he said, are more dangerous than the coronavirus, and are planning to eventually occupy parts of the Arabian Peninsula, including Medina.

The solution, he said, “was that the Jews should be treated according to Allah’s decree about them. Allah decrees [in the Quran]: Kill them wherever you may find them, and drive them away from wherever they drove you away.”

The Palestinian Authority’s “foreign ministry” on Tuesday blasted Israel’s policy regarding Area C which is under Israeli security and civilian control.

According to the “ministry”, Israel is implementing a policy that considers the “occupied” Palestinian territories, which are included under the definition of Area C, a strategic area for settlement, to expand existing settlements, to establish new settlements and to pave roads for them.

The “foreign ministry” also claimed that the Israeli government’s “settlement plan” is designed to create geographically connected settlement blocs that will create a sort of Jewish state of settlers on “occupied West Bank land”.

It stressed that the Palestinian Arabs do not need the Israeli Prime Minister’s consent to build on their homeland, and they reject Israeli attempts to deceive international public opinion on the grounds that the government allows Palestinian Arabs to build in the Palestinian territories.

The statement followed the Israeli Cabinet’s unanimous approval of plans to build 715 housing units in Palestinian Arab villages in Area C.

However, it is unclear whether these the plans are for building new housing units in those villages, or whether they are referring to the whitewashing of illegal buildings that already exist in the area.
