WARSAW, July 17 (Reuters) – Poland’s president vetoed two bills on Friday ⁠that ⁠would have introduced “cohabitation contracts” for couples ⁠living together, dealing a blow to same-sex couples in one of the few ​European Union countries with limited rights for LGBT people.

Finding out anything about the news is, well, disgusting.  The Church of England is trying to figure out how to handle so-called gay marriage.  All kinds of contortions are necessary to accommodate weird holy men, some of whom are miffed, since the sacrilege is the law of the land in England.  The sodomites think it’s a real slap in the face.  How dare the Church accommodate those who don’t believe in their now mainstream unions?  Christianity ain’t what it used to be.  But since when did the practitioners of sin get to establish church doctrine?  The Priests in particular are deciding whether they can bless something scripture condemns.  Many members are dead set against any official moves that “bless” something the Bible condemns.  So they’re splitting hairs.  

We should note that there has been a “steep decline” recently in church attendance.  Do tell.  The guys in the pointy hats aren’t authorized to perform any weddings, but they are encouraged to welcome homosexuals.  

The situation in Russia is as convoluted as you can imagine.  The media is reporting that Prigozhin, chief of the Wagner group is still in Russia.  There has been all kinds of speculation that Putin will have him killed, but then what would become of Wagner’s 25,000 trained soldiers?  The Wall Street Journal reports that Prigozhin is popular in many regions of Russia, and Wagner is fighting for Russia in Ukraine.  There’s some concern that he may actually be more popular than Putin.  

The Wagner group is involved in numerous skirmishes on Russia’s behalf.  It is a mercenary outfit, accused of atrocities, whose leaders wear Nazi tattoos and soldiers that leave that symbolism behind in conquered territories.  The name Wagner is after the composer that Adolf Hitler loved.  But Wikipedia quotes an expert at the end of their summation who says the outfit is not driven by ideology, but is a mercenary group “linked to the Russian security state.”  Prigozhin used to have a good relationship with Putin.  Presumably things have gotten serious since the aborted coup.  

Wagner recruits prisoners and puts them on the front lines.  If you look them up, you’ll see that they’ve been involved in conflict all over the world, and Russia is never at fault for what they do.  Other than the fact that they are supplied and funded by Russia.  Apparently they’ve only been operating since 2012 or so, but the operation has become a major component of Russian might.  They’ve been decorated by Putin himself, and praised for heroics. 

By now everyone has heard that coke (and I don’t mean the drink) has been found in the White House.  Probably some tourist or other, decided to hide something in the White House.  It could have been anybody.  Right!  

You’ve seen the special prosecutor tapped to go get Trump?  This guy doesn’t exactly have an enviable record.  We’re being blinded by stories of corruption at the highest levels of the U. S., but the main story is the special prosecutor and the mishandled documents.  Meanwhile there are believable reports that we’ve been sold out to the Chinese and who knows who else?  The agencies responsible for this kind of stuff won’t go near it, so here come the hearings.  No doubt Congress will get to the bottom of it while the agencies run interference.  We may be led by people who don’t have the best interests of the country or its citizens at heart.  But Trump!  He may have mishandled documents!  

The prosecutor has charged a Trump employee with a crime (moving boxes) and is apparently getting several people with access to the man on record.  It’s a nightmare scenario, according to the media.  If they could only get someone to flip!

France is finally starting to get the chaos under control.  What did they think was going to happen?  The reports of buildings burnt, vehicles torched is off the chart.  You don’t make the foreigners mad, especially when they’re already crazy.  We may learn our own lesson, if we haven’t already.  This compassion business is out of hand!  Let’s just say, it’s misplaced.

LONDON (Reuters) – The Archbishop of Canterbury has urged the Anglican Church of Uganda to reject the country’s new anti-LGBT law, saying there is no justification for Anglicans anywhere to support legislation that goes against the Christian teachings of the Gospel.

Neil Oliver from GBN News,¹ made an accurate and frightening comparison between what is happening in the world today and George Orwell’s books Animal Farm and 1984. It’s almost as if Orwell wrote the handbooks that the World Economic Forum has been following to the letter. Oliver wonders:²

“As the years go by, I wonder more and more if George Orwell wasn’t actually a time traveler for real. So right has he proven to be about where decisions made and actions taken in the 20th century would lead future generations. Animal Farm is a fable about communism. He predicted the abuse of trust and the exploitation of power once the pigs have control of the farm.”

In his commentary, Oliver summarized a scene from Orwell’s book, “Animal Farm,” in which the farm animals discover that the pigs are taking all the apples and milk for themselves.

When their selfish behavior comes to light, the pigs defend themselves, saying it has been scientifically proven that only pigs require milk and apples for good health. “You do not imagine, I hope, we are doing this in a spirit of selfishness and privilege?” one of the pigs asks in Orwell’s book. “Many of us dislike milk and apples.”

The censorship and totalitarian regime that grew in Orwell’s Animal Farm happened with the cooperation of the other barnyard animals, who later grew to regret their actions. It was only through their cooperation that the pigs took power. In the same way, the technocratic elite today are gambling that fear will be enough of an incentive to motivate the masses to do the technocrats’ will.

Technocrats are taking advantage of motivated reasoning, which is one way that people use reasoning to deceive themselves. According to Psychology Today,³ people use biased reasoning when they are “confronted by contradictory information, especially on matters that directly relate to their comfort, happiness, and mental health. Rather than reexamining a contradiction, it’s much easier to dismiss it.”

Man Arrested for Causing Anxiety

In a YouTube video featuring Darren Brady, a 51-year-old veteran⁴ being hauled out of his home in handcuffs for reposted something on Facebook that someone decided was offensive, Brady asks, “Why am I in cuffs for something that he said, then I said?” The British police officer answers, “Someone has been caused anxiety based on your social media post. And that is why you’re being arrested.”⁵

According to the commentary that follows on the video, this is “the third time he’s been really naughty. When I say really naughty, I mean he’s put something else on Facebook or Twitter.” The man hasn’t “fiddled his taxes” or killed someone. Instead, he has exercised his right to free speech in a society where free speech is apparently no longer valued. In what can only be called common sense, the commenter goes on to say:⁶

“I’m not sure who decides what anxiety is … because I’ve always found the best thing to do if I see something I don’t like on Facebook I scroll past. It’s gone in a second and that way you don’t have to put up with it. Because I think when you’re dealing with a platform with 2 billion people saying what they think, you’re going to find loads of stuff you’re not going to agree with.”

Yet, it appears that the world has lost common sense. As mentioned, the meme Brady reposted was originally posted by someone else. As reported by MRCTV, the meme was a “swastika made out of pride flags. According to British authorities, the meme ironically meant to call out the left’s fascist, free-speech-killing LGBTQ agenda.”⁷

In other words, according to the British authorities, while the choice of imagery was questionable, the intent was to draw attention to the similarities between the lack of free speech under the Nazi regime and the “free-speech-killing LGBTQ agenda.”

Brady’s arrest and charges were based on a 1988 law that “send[ing] or deliver[ing] letters or other articles for the purpose of causing distress or anxiety”⁸ is a crime. Harry Miller, from FairCop.org.uk, was also arrested and charged for obstruction when he tried to prevent the officers from arresting Brady. According to Hampshire Constabulary, the officers felt the need to use handcuffs when they were prevented from entering Brady’s home to interview him about the offense.

Brady was told the criminal charge could be downgraded if he paid for and took an educational course on inclusivity. Whatever your feelings about what Brady posted, it does not negate the fact that he has the right to free speech.

The right to free speech isn’t easy as movie president Andrew Shepherd says at the end of the movie, “The American President.” Michael Douglas, who played the president, describes one price we pay for free speech:⁹

“America isn’t easy. America is advanced citizenship. You’ve gotta want it bad, ’cause it’s gonna put up a fight.’ It’s gonna say, ‘You want free speech? Let’s see you acknowledge a man whose words make your blood boil, who’s standing center stage and advocating at the top of his lungs that which you would spend a lifetime opposing at the top of yours.’”

Britain Seeks More Censorship to Remove ‘Lawful but Harmful’

March 23, 2021,¹⁰ U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders broke from party lines and spoke out against Twitter’s ban of former President Trump, saying “yesterday it was Donald Trump who was banned and tomorrow it could be somebody else who has a very different point of view.” He also noted that it is risky to have a “handful of high-tech people” controlling speech in America.¹¹

Sanders’ point is well taken. Who determines the point of view that is “wrong” in a country that proposes to value free speech?

Britain’s Parliament is seeking to take another step toward eliminating free speech under the guise of protecting its citizens from free speech. At issue is Britain’s Online Safety Bill,¹² which was introduced to Parliament in June 2022. As of this writing, it is still in the House of Commons, before being sent to the House of Lords.

Although the bill is being applauded by children’s safety campaigns,¹³ it has come under fire from other organizations that recognize the unprecedented censorship powers it gives to the secretary of state and the Office of Communications (Ofcom).¹⁴ The briefing paper by the Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA) calls this an unsafe bill and outlines the broad scope of power the Online Safety Bill gives to the Secretary of State and Ofcom.

In response to the briefing paper, the Rt. Hon. Lord Frost CMG said: “There is so much wrong with this bill that it is hard to know where to start, but the report rightly highlights the fact that it will mean some speech that is legal offline will effectively be impossible online.”¹⁵ Briefly, analysis by the IEA of the powers in the Bill include:¹⁶

• The scope of the bill is “breathtaking,” and raises significant issues for free speech, privacy and innovation.
• The secretary of state and Ofcom will have unprecedented powers to define and limit speech, with limited parliamentary or judicial oversight.
• The definition of harmful speech can be easily expanded through a statutory instrument, depending on the priorities of the incumbent Secretary of State.
• The Bill’s byzantine requirements will impose large regulatory costs, particularly on startups and smaller companies, and make it riskier to host content and develop innovative services.

While it may seem that this British parliamentary argument is not pertinent to the remainder of the world, it is important to note the academics who are applauding the move, including Mark MacCarthy, from the Center for Technology Innovation at Brookings Institution, a public policy organization in Washington, D.C.¹⁷

In his analysis of the Online Safety Bill, he lauded the steps the British Parliament is taking to protect free speech by limiting speech, writing, “This systems approach is a promising way to reduce noxious but legal online material while preserving free expression.” In his estimation:¹⁸

“Parliament can still modify the details of this proposal, but the general outlines are clear enough to provide guidance for policymakers struggling with similar regulatory challenges and opportunities in the United States.”

Men and Women Have Died to Defend Your Right to Free Speech

We honor the deaths of the men and women in the military who died defending the right to live freely when we continue to take up that banner and defend our right to free speech at home. Unfortunately, many people have been affected by mass formation psychosis, which is a crowd phenomenon that was identified hundreds of years ago.

Two historical examples are the American and European witch-hunts of the 16th and 17th centuries, during which thousands of women were killed as “scapegoats of societies gone mad.”¹⁹

One of the earliest writings on mass formation, according to blogger Robert Malone,²⁰ is an 1841 book titled, “Extraordinary Popular Delusions and The Madness of Crowds,” which details “the irrational behaviors of crowds.” However, if you search for information on mass formation psychosis on Google, you won’t easily find answers to your questions as they’ve effectively been buried by Big Tech.

Outrageously, one of the “expert fact checkers”²¹ used by the AP to discredit Malone and mass formation psychosis is Jay Van Bavel, a New York University assistant professor of psychology and neural science who not only stated he had never heard of the phrase and could not find it in peer-reviewed literature, but also has encouraged the use of “behavioral science” to “nudge” and “motivate” people to obey the official COVID-19 narrative.

Mattias Desmet, professor of clinical psychology at the University of Ghent in Belgium, details the four conditions needed to achieve mass formation on a large scale, which includes cognitive dissonance and psychological pain — factors that often leave people desperate for change and a way to escape:²²

• Feelings of social isolation and being alone among a large number of people
• Feelings that your life is pointless and meaningless
• High levels of free-floating anxiety
• High levels of free-floating frustration and aggression

People want to remove their feelings of social isolation and anxiety. Toward that end, mass formation involves obsessive focusing on a failure of the normal world or a particular event or person who becomes the focus of the attention — and the more absurd the narrative becomes, the better. Desmet explained in an interview:²³

“The narrative that leads to the mass formation typically becomes more and more absurd, and the strange thing is that people don’t seem to notice this … The reason why people buy into the narrative is not, in the first place, because the narrative is correct or scientific or accurate.

The reason why people buy into the narrative is because it creates this new social bond. That’s why typically during mass formation, the people who don’t want to conform to the masses, who don’t go along with the narrative, are typically [accused of] lacking citizenship and solidarity.”

Desmet says that the more absurd the narrative and its surrounding measures become, the more successful they will be for a certain part of the population, usually about 30%, because the measures function as rituals, through which an individual shows that they are less important than the collective masses.²⁴

How Is Censorship Being Coordinated?

I’ve written before about the Publicis Groupe,^25,26 which is a global PR firm that appears to be at the center of a large network involving Big Tech, Big Pharma, the U.S. government, the World Economic Forum and global nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) working in tandem to further the globalist Great Reset agenda.

Mainstream media survives from the revenue generated by advertisers. Groups like Publicis can feed stories to the media that support these advertisers. This is one way that Publicis and its clients have been able to control the narrative told by the media and across internet platforms. They have been able to virtually eliminate your ability to get the truth about many important issues.

Publicis describes itself as one of the world’s largest communications groups and as I describe in the video above, they represent large clients in Big Tech and Big Pharma. They help finance NewsGuard, which is a self-appointed fact-checking site that is helping to shut down websites with opinions that don’t fit the narrative. They are also partners with the World Economic Forum, the organization leading the global Great Reset.

The bill’s proponents argue it would simply codify a recent Supreme Court decision in which the justices agreed that the 1964 Civil Rights Act prohibits discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and “transgender status,” rather than just gender. But the bill does not just expand equal protection rights to the LGBT community, as Democrats have said. It would also gut the Religious Freedom Restoration Act, undermine gender-inclusive groups, such as women’s sports teams, and give leftists license to punish anyone who does not conform to their gender ideology.

The Equality Act would make sure people of faith are forced to comply. The bill literally contains a statute that says religious exemptions that normally apply to federal law would not apply to the Equality Act. This means if a transgender person took a Baptist church to court for refusing to hire him, the church could not use its religious beliefs as the justification. Or, if a baker refused to serve a gay couple based on his religious beliefs about marriage, he would have a much harder time making his case in court because the law would be stacked against him.

In other words, the Equality Act makes it impossible for religious groups and persons to appeal any penalties imposed under the law. It takes away one of their most important lines of defense and leaves them open to attacks from anyone who might disagree with their beliefs.

By erasing gender as a distinct legal category, the bill would also undermine the rights of gender-exclusive groups and spaces. This is a particular threat to the safety of women. Female sports teams would be forced to accept men who identify as women, as would female prisons, locker rooms, bathrooms, shelters, and salons. This leaves women of all ages, but especially young girls, vulnerable to abuse. Any boy could claim to identify as a girl, walk into a public school female locker room, expose himself to young women, and get away with it. We used to call that sexual harassment. Now it’s called equality.

Put simply, there is nothing inclusive, fair, or just about the Equality Act. Its only goal is to make the Left’s radical ideas about sex the new legal standard. And to do this, the bill would trample religious rights and force the rest of the country to go along with it. Lawmakers must reject it soundly.

  The top archbishops and bishops of the Church of England have issued an apology for a statement released last week which declared only married heterosexuals should have sex.
  Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby and Archbishop of York John Sentamu said they took responsibility for the announcement.

  “We as archbishops, alongside the bishops of the Church of England, apologize and take responsibility for releasing a statement last week which we acknowledge has jeopardized trust.

  “We are very sorry and recognize the division and hurt this has caused.”

  However, the statement did not retract the “pastoral guidance” issued by the bishops, which came in response to the extension of civil partnerships to heterosexual couples in the UK.

  The guidance said “sexual relationships outside heterosexual marriage are regarded as falling short of God’s purpose for human beings”, and that people, gay or straight, who are in civil partnerships should be abstinent.

  In an open letter to the archbishops, supporters of LGBT equality in the church described the guidance as “a laughingstock to a nation that believes it (the church) is obsessed with sex.”

  “Whilst we are grateful for the archbishops’ apology and the recognition that their statement has jeopardised our trust, the fact is more than words are now needed.”

  Over 3500 people signed the open letter, including a range of senior church leaders.

  “This shows the strength of concern that exists across the Church of England that its mission is being significantly damaged and that their promise of a ‘radical new Christian inclusion’ must now be delivered,” the letter said.

  The letter also raised concerns over the Church’s’ ‘Living in Love and Faith project’, which seeks to address questions of human identity, sexuality, and marriage in relation to Church doctrine.

  In their apology, the Archbishops said they were committed to the project.

  “This process is intended to help us all to build bridges that will enable the difficult conversations that are necessary as, together, we discern the way forward for the Church of England,” the statement said.

A group of California state legislators are pushing a resolution that would pressure clergy in the state to promote the falsehood that homosexuality and other LGBT behaviors are normal. According to the California Family Council (CFC), Democrat State Assemblyman Evan Low and three dozen other liberal lawmakers are aggressively pushing Assembly Concurrent Resolution 99 (ACR 99), which calls on “counselors, pastors, religious workers, educators” and institutions with “great moral influence” to cease from preaching and teaching that there is anything wrong with individuals identifying as LGBT or participating in homosexual behavior.

As reported by CFC, “ACR 99 also condemns attempts to change unwanted same-sex attraction or gender confusion as ‘unethical,’ ‘harmful,’ and leading to high rates of suicide.”

This is not Low’s first effort at forcing the normalization of homosexuality and LGBT behaviors on California residents. “Last year Assemblyman Low introduced AB 2943, a bill that declares ‘advertising, offering to engage in, or engaging in sexual orientation change efforts with an individual’ as illegal under state’s consumer fraud law,” reported CFC. “After receiving strong opposition from numerous Christian leaders and faith-based organizations … Low killed his own bill in hopes of coming up with a compromise.”

That compromise turned into ACR 99, which, although if passed would not carry the force of law, would as an official resolution from the State Assembly still carry weight in influencing public opinion.

While Low has recruited a handful of liberal ministers to endorse ACR 99, a number of conservative Christian pastors are speaking out against it, including Ken Williams and Elizabeth Woning, who once identified as homosexual but who are now part of an outreach called Equipped to Love, where they biblically counsel those struggling with same-sex attraction.

Williams and Woning both warn that ACR 99 discriminates against individuals like themselves who overcame homosexuality through faith in Christ. “For us, walking out our faith with biblical conviction means life and hope,” explained Woning. “Our faith has saved us from suicide and given us freedom to live with clear consciences.” She added that while she, Williams, and others who have left LGBT lifestyles through their Christian faith seek affirmation of the hope and healing they have found, “instead, activists attack our efforts to care for like-minded friends by promoting dangerous counseling restrictions and stifling our free speech.”

Williams recalled that “for years I believed that God hated me because of my behavior. But in my early 20s I encountered a God … who loved me despite my sins and temptations.” Williams noted that because of the faith journey that brought him victory over same-sex attraction, “today, I love my life. I have been married to my beautiful wife for 13 years, and we have created four incredible children together. To someone like me, California Assemblyman Evan Low’s proposed resolution, ACR-99, feels like an unfair and direct attack.”

In addition to Woning and Williams, Joe Dallas, a pastor and Christian counselor, wrote: “While warning against the dangers of so-called Conversion Therapy, ACR 99 restricts much more than counseling, which attempts to change internal sexual responses. It, in fact, dictates to pastors that they cannot teach that homosexuality is a sin, nor can they encourage homosexually attracted people who hold a traditional biblical view to live in accordance with their own faith.”

CFC noted that a coalition of professional counselors, doctors, attorneys, and faith-based non-profits have also signed on to an open letter warning of ACR 99’s threat to the liberty of Californians. “People should have the freedom to pursue what brings them true happiness and joy,” reads the letter. “ACR 99 is trying to cut people off from their own pathway to happiness.”

The letter goes on to point out that “professional organizations agree that same-sex attraction and gender dysphoria are not simply biologically caused, they often change.” Additionally, the letter observes that “contrary to misrepresentations, therapists who are open to a client’s goal of change use non-aversive, well-established mainstream practices and evidence-based treatments for trauma and addictions used by professional therapists worldwide.”

The coalition concludes its letter by expressing “grave concern that Assemblyman Low’s resolution, like the discriminatory guilds he references, privileges sexual and gender minorities of so-called ‘progressive’ values and goals at the expense of those of traditional values and goals. It is unconstitutional to strip any person of any First Amendment freedoms, and it is inhumane to prohibit individuals from addressing their own personal pain and desire for healing and change.”

An Indiana same-sex couple is demanding lawmakers pass new legislation after they were turned away by a Christian tax preparer.

What happened?

Bailey Brazzel has filed her taxes with Nancy Fivecoate, owner of Carter Tax Service, for the past four years. But to her dismay, Brazzel says was turned away this year after she told Fivecoate she would be filing jointly with her new wife, whom she married last summer, according to WRTV-TV.

“We were really upset and shocked. At first I thought she was joking around,” Bailey told WRTV. “I was completely shocked, I never expected that to happen.”

“We shouldn’t be able to be turned away or kicked out of places just because of who we’re married too,” Samantha Brazzel said, according to ABC News.

Eventually, Bailey and her wife went elsewhere to file their taxes.

Still, they remain upset over what happened, explaining to WRTV they believe they are victims of discrimination. They told the news station it is now their goal to ensure new laws are passed preventing discrimination against same-sex marriage couples in the future.

What did Fivecoate say?

In a statement to WRTV, Fivecoate explained her Christian beliefs prevented her from seemingly endorsing the same-sex marriage by preparing the taxes jointly — but that does not mean she in, any way, disrespected the Brazzels.

“The LGBT want respect for their beliefs, which I give them,” Fivecoate said. “I did not say anything about their lifestyle. That is their choice. It is not my choice. Where is their respect for my beliefs?”

Kindergarteners and other elementary-aged students in California’s public schools will be taught to reject “gender stereotypes” – such as about clothing, colors and toys – and to accept transgenderism as normative if proposed health guidelines are approved.

There would be no opt-out option for parents.

One recommended book in the guidelines tells the story of a boy who wants to be a princess. Another recommended book teaches students there are at least 15 genders. That same book also tells children it’s impossible to know if a baby is a boy or a girl.

The guidelines are part of the California Department of Education’s proposed Health Education Framework.

“Discuss gender with kindergarteners by exploring gender stereotypes and asking open-ended questions, such as what are preferred colors, toys, and activities for boys/girls, and then challenging stereotypes if presented,” chapter three of the proposed guidelines reads. “Throughout this discussion, show images of children around the same age who do not conform to typical gender stereotypes. Examples do not have to be exaggerated or overt. Simple differences, such as colors or toy preferences, can demonstrate acceptance of gender non-conformity.”

Details about the guidelines were first reported by Brenda Lebsack at EdSource.org. She is a member of the Orange Unified School District board of education in Orange County.

“While students may not fully understand the concepts of gender expression and identity,” the guidelines state, “some children in kindergarten and even younger have identified as transgender or understand they have a gender identity that is different from their sex assigned at birth. This may present itself in different ways including dress, activity preferences, experimenting with dramatic play, and feeling uncomfortable self-identifying with their sex assigned at birth.”

One recommended children’s book in the guidelines is My Princess Boy by author Cheryl Kilodavis. The guidelines call it an “an age-appropriate book that can be used to demonstrate gender differences and inclusion.”

Another recommended children’s book is Who Are You?: The Kids Guide to Gender Identity by author Brook Pessin‐Whedbee. The colorful book defines gender as “boy, girl, both, neither, trans, genderqueer, non-binary, gender fluid, transgender, gender neutral, agender, neutrois, bigender, third gender, two spirit….” All total, 15 possible genders are listed. The book says parents don’t know if a baby is a boy or a girl at birth. “Babies can’t talk, so grown-ups make a guess by looking at their bodies,” it reads.

California last revamped its health education framework was 2002. The State Board of Education will consider adopting the new framework in May, Lebsack said.

“This framework will potentially have more impact on parents, schools and our culture in general than any other adopted in the past,” she wrote.

Parents will not have the opportunity to opt their children out of the classes, Lebsack added. That’s because unlike sexual health education – which has an opt-out – materials that discuss gender, sexual orientation or family life are considered normative education.

R. Albert Mohler Jr., president of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Ky., said parents likely will be considered more the “problem” than “the solution” in debate over the proposal.

“There are many who argue that the role of the public schools is to correct the religious prejudices that children are likely to encounter in their homes,” Mohler said during the Jan. 15 edition of The Briefing. “… Parents in California and elsewhere cannot say you were not warned.”
