A suspected gunman fatally shot himself Wednesday as Minneapolis police were moving in to arrest him for a slaying committed hours earlier, sparking looting in the downtown area, police told Fox News.

The man was with a female at a parking garage around 2 p.m. when they encountered another man, Minneapolis police spokesman John Elder said. The couple got into a confrontation with the man, who was fatally shot by the man who was with the woman.

Stand by to be refused service or canceled completely.  You might lose your job.  Maybe you’ll be kicked out of the store or restaurant.  Unless of course you’re willing to bow down to every new mandate that someone dreams up.  Then they might just leave you alone, temporarily.  Better not draw any red lines that you’ve already decided not to cross.  Red lines are not allowed.  When the authorities agree on what you must do, the media tells you why you must comply, and the corporations (or local businesses) demand you come to heel if you want to access their products or services, you know you’re stuck.

Take a look at the things that our nation has determined that we will all accept, or at least not make a stink about.  Evolution.  Global Warming (along with the attendant worship of windmills and solar panels). Abortion.  Homosexuality.  Transgenderism. Multiculturalism, diverthity, rioting and looting, mandatory masks, social distancing… What will they demand next?  And the big question.  Will we be prepared to accept the next mandate?

If you look at the list of things we’ve been made to choke down, you’ll realize this has been a long game.  Our whole culture has gradually gotten us used to the idea of compliance with every clap-trap demand.  The enforcers are not necessarily even government agencies or officers.  Sometimes the places we go to buy what we need or want are the enforcers. It might not even be a manager or employee of the business.  It might well be some angry female on aisle 9 throwing a raging fit at you.   She’s screaming her head off, thankfully somewhat muffled by her N-95, about “keeping everyone safe!”

“Somebody call the cops!”  Not long ago the “woke” logic went like this.     Why do you need a gun?  All you need to do is call the police and they’ll handle it.  Lately we’ve been shown that doesn’t work.  (It still works in East Texas, but this is the exception.)  Good luck in the big cities.  Now the “woke” crowd demands the police be abolished or defunded.  Who you gonna call?  What if black lives matter and antifa decide to come to your middle-class neighborhood at say, 3 am, shouting through bull horns that you need to get out of your house and surrender your belongings to them.  That’s already started to happen in Seattle and Portland.  Mobs are assembling in the wee hours to bang drums and scream profanities at confused, groggy residents, waking their kids and the dogs, telling them they’ve got to give up their residences, trying to get them to come out onto the street.  No word if any police showed up.  Probably not.  It’s Seattle and Portland after all.

They’ve got all the answers on the west coast, all right.  They’ve apparently replaced some of the traditional power plants with their lovely windmills and solar farms.  Trouble is, they don’t make enough power for the cities (what a shock) especially when it’s really hot, as it is right now.  So there are rolling black-outs.  Just like the third world.

It looks as though the nonsense is going to keep coming.  After all, nobody is pushing back against every un-American, anti-freedom, un-Constitutional mandate they can dream up.  But it’s just getting off the ground.  Who’s going to put a stop to it if the people won’t.  This is the only last hope for avoiding utter tyranny.  Think they’re going to stand up in Australia?  Wait ’till you read the article in our upcoming WATCH magazine if you think they might.  The state of Victoria and the city of Melbourne have gone full police-state with dire penalties for anyone daring to break whatever new set of rules has been announced.  And they are incredibly dire and ruinous.  Crocodile Dundee must have been a one-off.  Even the British press is alarmed.  You think they’re going to stand against tyrannical nonsense in Britain or Canada?  Right.  Here in the U. S. we’ve seen a minimum of push back, but lots of, let’s say non-compliance.  A few have filed lawsuits, or refused to close.  So few that the police have been able to descend in force.

Rioting, looting, arson, marauding in sleeping neighborhoods.  That’s all fine, and so very non-violent.  But call the wrong pro-noun (oops, who could know for sure?) and that’s it.  You’re fired, and good luck ever working again!

Maybe you’ve got your own theory, and maybe you’re right.  But it looks like God has taken about enough abuse.  Not just from the goon squad in the streets, but from all of us who’ve stood by while our national sins have become symbols of pride.  A reason to parade!  Now we’re suffering the beginning stages of the curses that accompany such sins automatically.  There might have been some hope of turning back, on the other hand it looks a little late.

Once the “authorities” have got us used to bowing down for every bit of “woke” nonsense, how hard will it be to implement the scourges of the end time?  We’d better hope God knows who we are and approves of what we’ve done in these “trying times.”  Those who refuse the “mark of the beast,” which will be a global MANDATE, are the only ones who will receive His reward.  Some will be martyred for their rebellion against whatever stupidity awaits.  Mankind as a whole will reap the whirlwind, and worse.

We’re being asked, no TOLD, that we must accept total garbage as the truth, when we know better.  The nightly “news” anchors lie in our faces, and then roll their eyes about any who dare disagree with them.  They’re some of the worst offenders.  The time for quiet acquiescence to our national sins is just about up.  If we’re to “cry aloud and spare not,” we better start taking a look at what we’ve already swallowed.  If we relied on social media for traction, we would have long ago been silenced.  If the communists overtake us, they’ll track us down.  That is, if the lady at the grocery store doesn’t get to us first.   Have a great SABBATH.

It’s been ages since we’ve had even the slightest whiff of good news.  But in the last 24 hours something has happened that the media has no choice but to tell us.  Within a week or so the mainstream will come up with some line that makes the new relationship between Israel and the United Arab Emirates a terrible development.  But for now, they’re back on their heels.  The media has been so busy preaching masks, droplets, social distancing, and the necessity of closing everything indefinitely, the unbelievable news out of the Middle East has caught them completely off guard.

For one thing it’s destroyed a long-held and much-loved argument that Israel could never have peaceful relations with Arab countries unless it satisfied Palestinian demands, which has proven to be an impossibility.  A major lynchpin of Middle East peace has just been established without their input or approval.  Palestinian terrorist organizations, long pitied and excused for their violent hatreds by mainstream media, are apoplectic.

Get this, from an AP article trying to grapple with the impossible development.  “I never expected this poison dagger to come from an Arab country,” Saeb Erekat, a senior Palestinian official and veteran negotiator said Friday.  “You are rewarding aggression…You have destroyed, with this move, any possibility of peace between Palestinians and Israelis.”  The Palestinian Authority says the establishment of full diplomatic relations  between the United Arab Emirates and Israel is a “betrayal of Jerusalem, the al Aqsa Mosque and the Palestinian cause.”  Such a statement is designed to generate anger and outrage throughout the Muslim world, and that now includes Europe.  Terrorist attacks, demonstrations and riots all over Europe wouldn’t surprise anybody.

Since the onset of the Trump presidency, we’ve heard claims and hopeful sentiments that there would be progress toward peace between Israel and the Arab world.  Those claims have been dismissed and ridiculed in the press and most people, having lived through the mindlessness of terrorism and enraged rhetoric over the decades, were quick to dismiss the prospect of such a game-changing development.  But it’s not exactly peace between Israel and the Palestinians.  There will be no peace as long as Israel exists, and that’s a fact.  But there will be direct flights between Abu Dhabi and Tel Aviv, and that is huge.  Most know that there are many Arab nations that will not allow entry from anyone who has an Israeli stamp in their passport.  The Palestinians are furious that any peace progress is being made without their approval.

One of the great concerns of the Obama era was that the prisons would be emptied, and violent criminals would be unleashed to prey on American citizens.  It is being accomplished to a degree under the greatly hyped fear generated by the Chinese virus.  It just wouldn’t do to have these poor criminals get sick.  So they’ve let them out by the tens of thousands.  Then we’re left to wonder how there could be so many conscienceless criminals running amok in American cities.

The lead prosecutor in Chicago is reported to have dropped hundreds of cases against rioters and looters.  She just decided that it wouldn’t be right to prosecute people that do the dirty work in pursuit of “racial justice.”  They were “non-violent” after all.  It’s easy for them to be non-violent when nobody gets in their way.  Driving cars through plate glass windows so the mob can steal everything?  Yeah, that’s non-violent according to big-city prosecutors.  Let those who are pursuing “racial justice” take what they want.  It’s only fair, according to those responsible for preserving law and order.  So those who’ve looted, started fires and destroyed Chicago’s most celebrated shopping district are able to liquidate their stolen designer merchandise without much concern.  As we all know, according to their twisted logic, it’s all that racist Trump’s fault anyway.

Once again, the looting has been justified by the black lives movement.  It’s just reparations anyway, they argue.  It was racist for those stores to be doing business in the first place, and it’s perfectly justifiable that those luxury outlets be looted and trashed by the mob.  You probably saw the parking lots full of trash and wondered how the scene was created.  Strewn all over the parking lot was the packaging from all the merchandise they stole.  You can watch the video of looters running in an out through the broken windows of Nordstrom’s and Coach retail outlets.  But they won’t be prosecuted because you see, they were only pursuing “racial justice.”  The nation owed the thugs everything they took, and the incredible mess they made.  Capitalist America should just calm down and realize it got what it had coming, according to spokespeople for the “revolution.”

The mainstream media may not admit that we’re in the middle of an evolving revolution against western civilization, but that doesn’t change much.  It’s not a surprise that the media, large corporations, and socialist government officials are demanding that everyone just quietly go out of business.  But it is shocking when those who promised to protect our freedoms join with the lovers of mandates and issue disastrous proclamations with the threat of punishments for those who dare cling to Constitutional guarantees.

It seems that God may have revoked our protections, and it wouldn’t be the first time in history.  Israel and Judah were punished with captivity, even physically removed from their homeland.  America has collectively knelt on one knee in acquiescence to one heinous sin after another.  There’s no need to list them.  You know what they are.  Our society has relegated the sentiments and the warnings in God’s Word to the trash bin, deeming them unworthy even for discussion in the “woke” atmosphere.  They’ve re-defined what is righteousness, and we may well pay a huge price for remaining quiet.

PS: A conversation Thursday with our Australian representative and Feast Coordinator Murray Allatt led to the inevitable conclusion that we have no choice but to cancel our Feast site at Nelson Bay in Australia for 2020. Borders between states have been closed and quarantines are mandated along with stiff legal penalties for any misstep.  We’ll not go on here to be critical of what the “authorities” have mandated.  They’ll reap the economic whirlwind in due time.

Ariel Atkins spoke outside a police station in the South Loop on 18th and South State Street on Monday, where protesters had gathered to call for the release of those who were arrested.

“I don’t care if somebody decides to loot a Gucci or a Macy’s or a Nike because that makes sure that that person eats. That makes sure that that person has clothes,” Atkins said, according to NBC Chicago.

“That’s reparations. That is reparations. Anything they want to take, take it because these businesses have insurance. They’re going to get their money back. My people aren’t getting anything.”

Atkins also hit back at Rev. Jesse Jackson, who tweeted earlier on Monday that the looting that had taken place in Chicago was “morally wrong.”

He wrote: “This act of pillaging, robbing & looting in Chicago was humiliating, embarrassing & morally wrong. It must not be associated with our quest for social justice and equality.”

But Atkins maintained that Jackson “has nothing to do with Black Lives Matter.”

She added: “Jesse Jackson was not there for the creation of Black Lives Matter. Jesse Jackson can keep his opinions to himself.”

During a news conference on Monday, Chicago Police Supt. David Brown said more than 400 officers had been deployed to stop the mass looting and unrest that broke out in the hours after police shot a man in the Englewood neighborhood on Chicago’s South Side on Sunday.

He said more than 100 people were arrested for charges including looting, disorderly conduct, and battery against police.

Authorities said misinformation circulated that the person shot on Sunday was a child and social media posts had encouraged looting.

A Black Lives Matter organizer in Chicago is defending the violence that caused $60 million in damage and injured 13 police officers on Sunday, characterizing looting as “reparations.”

Ariel Atkins, a BLM organizer, according to Chicago NBC network affiliate WMAQ, justified the riot in the Chicago Downtown Business District during a Monday rally at the police station in the “South Loop,” where protesters claim more than 100 people arrested in Sunday’s violence were being held.

“I don’t care if someone decides to loot a Gucci or a Macy’s or a Nike store, because that makes sure that person eats,” Atkins told WMAQ. “That makes sure that the person has clothes.

“That is reparations. Anything they wanted to take, they can take it because these businesses have insurance.”

The rioting occurred after word spread that police had shot a 20-year-old man on the South Side of the city. One post on Facebook erroneously claimed that police had shot and killed a 15-year-old boy.

Police were called to the Englewood neighborhood at about 2:30 p.m. local time for a report of a man with a gun, located the suspect and began a pursuit on foot, according to Chicago Fox network affiliate WFLD.

“During the foot pursuit, the offender turned and fired shots at the officers,” Deputy Chief Delonda Tally. “The officers then returned, discharging their weapon.”

The suspect, Latrell Allen, 20, who was charged with attempted murder Monday, was transported to the University of Chicago Hospital.

However, calls to descended upon the Central Business District and its upscale Magnificent Mile shopping area drew hundreds in the evening and early Monday with rioting and looting as a result, smashing windows and also sparking clashes with police.

“This was not an organized protest. Rather, this was an incident of pure criminality,” Police Superintendent David Brown said. “This was an act of violence against our police officers and against our city.”

A Black Lives Matter statement obtained by the Chicago Sun-Times also appeared to justify the destruction.

“When protesters attack high-end retail stores that are owned by the wealthy and service the wealthy, that is not ‘our’ city and has never been meant for us,” the statement read in part.

A sign at Monday’s rally displayed by protesters read: “Our futures have been looted from us . . . loot back.”

In its statement, Black Lives Matter also called for the Chicago police to be abolished.

“The mayor clearly has not learned anything since May, and she would be wise to understand that the people will keep rising up until the (Chicago Police Department) is abolished and our Black communities are fully invested in,” it said.

Looters have overrun streets in Washington DC and New York City and fires have been ignited near the White House as the US experienced its sixth night of violence fuelled by the killings of black people at the hands of police.

On Sunday, nearly a week after unarmed black man George Floyd died in custody as an officer pressed a knee into his neck, protests sprang up from Boston to San Francisco.

Almost 62,000 National Guard soldiers have now been deployed across 24 states, to help authorities control civil unrest as well as deal with the ongoing coronavirus crisis and bushfires.

There have been strict curfews imposed in 40 cities and public transport systems have been shut down, but the restrictions have been largely ignored and many places have again erupted into unrest.

In some cities on Sunday night, thieves smashed their way into stores and ran off with as much as they could carry, leaving shop owners, many of them just ramping up their business again after coronavirus pandemic lockdowns, to clean up their shattered storefronts.

In others, police tried to calm tensions by kneeling in solidarity with demonstrators while still maintaining a strong presence for security.

Earlier in the day, a truck driver drove at a crowd of demonstrators in Minneapolis.

At least 4,400 people have been arrested across the country during the days of protests, according to a tally compiled by The Associated Press.

Protesters start fires near White House

Looting was rampant in downtown Washington DC and elsewhere in the city as protests turned violent.

Police clashed with protesters near the White House, firing tear gas and stun grenades as fires burned nearby and looters moved through the city.

Protesters broke into a bank branch and empty boxes could be seen scattered on the sidewalk outside a jewelry store.

After protesters started looting a coffee shop, someone in the crowd yelled: “What are you looting a coffee shop for? You’re messing up the whole message.”

An hour before the 11:00 pm curfew in Washington DC, police fired a major barrage of tear gas and stun grenades into a crowd of more than 1,000 people, largely clearing Lafayette Park across the street from the White House and scattering protesters into the street.

Protesters piled up road signs and plastic barriers and lit a raging fire in the middle of H Street.

Some pulled an American flag from a nearby building and threw it into the blaze. Others added branches pulled from trees.

A building in the park that had bathrooms and a maintenance office was engulfed in flames.

A separate protest also broke out in the city’s northwest.

The entire Washington DC National Guard has been called in to help with the response to protests outside the White House and elsewhere in the nation’s capital.

Police officers hospitalized in Boston after peaceful afternoon escalates

A Sunday afternoon of mostly peaceful protests in Boston broke at nightfall when protesters clashed with officers, throwing rocks, breaking into several stores, and lighting a police vehicle on fire.

Boston police said at least 40 people had been arrested as of 3:00 am on Monday (local time).

Police said seven officers had been hospitalized and 21 police cruisers were damaged.

Republican Governor Charlie Baker called the violence “criminal and cowardly” in a tweet.

The destruction was a stark contrast to the several protests earlier on Sunday that featured thousands of demonstrations marching peacefully.

“They keep killing our people. I’m so sick and tired of it,” said Mahira Louis, 15, who was at a Boston protest with her mother on Sunday, leading chants of “George Floyd, say his name.”

California orders state buildings in city centers to be closed on Monday

The state Department of Human Resources has sent a directive to close all California state buildings “with offices in downtown city areas” on Monday.

The sweeping mandate covers everything from the Department of Motor Vehicles offices to those that license workers and provide health care.

The directive was sent on Sunday evening but it was left up to officials at individual agencies to determine which buildings should be closed.

A state Department of Justice memo sent to employees said Attorney-General offices in Sacramento, Oakland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and San Diego would be closed, though employees who can work from home should do so.

“Staff assigned to these offices should not report to work for any reason,” the memo said.

The Mayor of New York City’s daughter was among nearly 790 people arrested in the city since the start of the protests.

A law enforcement official who spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the matter told The Associated Press Chiara de Blasio, 25, was arrested on Saturday night.

An arrest report obtained by The New York Post said she had refused to leave a Manhattan street ordered to be cleared by officers because people were throwing things.

Chiara de Blasio, who is black, was later given a court summons and released.

Mayor Bill de Blasio, who is white, did not mention the arrest in his Sunday press briefing.

At least five burned-out NYPD vehicles that remained near Manhattan’s Union Square were towed on Sunday.

People walked around broken glass on the street to take pictures. But for hours, Sunday’s protests were calm.

“Compared to how things turned out yesterday, this is a lot better. This is exactly how things should be,” said Domenic Manning, who spoke at a rally in Union Square.

“If you want to get your point across, this is the way to do it. Vandalizing companies and stores, that’s not the way to do it.”

Resident Ken Kidd said protesters and police tried to remain peaceful at the start before the stress of a city heavily hit by the coronavirus came out.

“I think a community can only say ‘enough’ so many times and the words aren’t heard so then they got to take action and that’s what happened last night,” Mr. Kidd said.

During the past few days, several news crews attempting to cover protests have been shot with rubber bullets and tear gas and/or arrested.

The arrest of CNN reporter Omar Jimenez and his camera operator was the first to make headlines but police in other cities have also moved on other news crews.

Jimenez, who is black, was covering developments in Minneapolis and had just shown a protester being arrested when about half a dozen white police officers surrounded him.

“We can move back to where you like,” Jimenez told the officers wearing gas masks and face shields, before explaining live on air that he and his crew were members of the press.

“We’re getting out of your way.”

More than 10,000 National Guard members expected to be deployed

Curfews had been imposed around the country, including in Atlanta, Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Seattle.

About 5,000 National Guard soldiers and airmen were activated in 15 states and Washington, DC.

In Minneapolis, the city where the protests began, police, state troopers and National Guard members moved in soon after an 8:00 pm curfew took effect on Saturday to break up demonstrations.

On Sunday, in a display of force, long lines of state patrolmen and National Guard soldiers lined up in front of the Capitol, with perhaps a dozen military-style armored vehicles behind them.

That came after three days in which police largely avoided engaging protesters, and after the state poured more than 4,000 National Guard troops into Minneapolis.

President Donald Trump appeared to cheer on the tougher tactics, commending the National Guard deployment in Minneapolis and declaring “No games!”

He said police in New York City “must be allowed to do their job!”

Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden condemned the violence as he continued to express common cause with those demonstrating after Mr. Floyd’s death.

“The act of protesting should never be allowed to overshadow the reason we protest,” Mr. Biden said in a late-night statement.

Truck drives at crowd on freeway

A truck driver was arrested on Sunday afternoon after appearing to drive at a crowd of protesters on a Minneapolis freeway.

Officials in Minnesota said no protesters were hit when the semi-trailer drove into a crowd demonstrating on a freeway near the city center.

The Minnesota State Patrol said the action appeared to be deliberate.

TV footage showed protesters swarming the truck, and then law enforcement quickly moving in.

The driver was taken to hospital but released into police custody shortly afterward.

Trump says Antifa will be designated a terrorist group

Mr. Trump blamed left-wing groups for causing the riots.

He said anarchists and militant anti-fascists under the umbrella term Antifa were to blame for riots that formed off the back of largely peaceful protests.

Though the group, whose followers organize resistance to white supremacists, is not an official organization, Mr. Trump said Antifa would be designated as a terrorist group.

Attorney-General William Barr also pointed a finger at “far-left extremist” groups.

Police chiefs and politicians around the country accused outsiders of coming in and causing the problems.

National security adviser Robert O’Brien said there was no systemic racism in police forces in the US, blaming the killing of black citizens on “some bad apples”.

“I think 99.9 percent of our law enforcement officers are great Americans,” he said on CNN.

“Many of them are African American, Hispanic, Asian, they’re working the toughest neighborhood, they’ve got the hardest jobs to do in this country and I think they’re amazing, great Americans.

“There is no doubt that there are some racist police, I think they’re the minority, I think they’re the few bad apples and we need to root them out.”

Trump ‘taken into underground White House bunker by Secret Service’

The Associated Press reported that Secret Service agents had rushed Mr. Trump into an underground White House bunker as protests flared outside on Friday.

AP said its source was a Republican close to the White House not authorized to publicly discuss private matters and said the account had been confirmed by another official.

Protests had turned violent in Washington DC on Friday, with protesters throwing rocks and tugging at police barricades just outside the White House.

The Friday protests had sparked one of the highest alerts at the White House complex since the September 11 terror attacks in 2001, AP said.

Security at the White House has been reinforced by the National Guard and by additional personnel from the Secret Service and the US Park Police.

On Saturday morning Mr. Trump had tweeted that “vicious dogs” and “ominous weapons” would have greeted protesters if they had entered the grounds of the White House.

Flowers at ‘sacred space’ where George Floyd died

At the Minneapolis intersection where Mr. Floyd was killed, people gathered with brooms and flowers, saying it was important to protect what they called a “sacred space”.

The intersection was blocked with the traffic cones while a ring of flowers was laid out.

County Commissioner Angela Conley showed up shortly after the curfew lifted, saying that police had trampled flowers and photos of Mr. Floyd.

“The community needs healing, and what happened last night only exacerbated the pain that’s been felt,” she said of police action.

Ms. Conley said the demonstrations and confrontations with police would continue until the other three officers who were at the scene when Mr. Floyd was pinned down are arrested and prosecuted.

The officer who put his knee on Mr. Floyd’s neck, Derek Chauvin, was charged last week with murder. All four officers have been fired.

Minnesota Attorney-General Keith Ellison warned it would be hard to secure a homicide conviction against Mr. Chauvin.

“Prosecuting police officers for misconduct, including homicide and murder is very difficult,” he told reporters.

“If you look at the cases that have been in front of the public in the last many years, it’s easy to see that is true. Every single link in the prosecutorial chain will come under attack as we present this case.”
