Argentine President Javier Milei secured a decisive victory Sunday in midterm elections, expanding his control of Congress and giving his government fresh momentum to push forward with deep spending cuts and sweeping free-market reforms.

The result gives Milei’s libertarian movement a boost and marks another sharp turn for one of Latin America’s largest and most volatile economies.

Milei’s party, La Libertad Avanza, won about 41.5% of the vote in Buenos Aires province, a historic upset in a region long dominated by the Peronist opposition. The rival coalition took 40.8%, according to figures cited by Reuters and The Associated Press.

Greetings from Tyler,

Have you seen the flooding in Saudi Arabia? According to reports the king called upon the population to pray to allah to end the dry spell. It ended with cars washing down streets in freak flash flooding. It’s being called a flood of biblical proportions. You’ll have to come up with your own explanation. I wouldn’t dare.

What’s going on in Brazil? The tens of thousands in the streets think something was amiss with the election. As we all know it’s not acceptable to question an election, no matter what. Obviously a sizable percentage of the population believe in conspiracy theories. As we all know, that’ll get you canceled or banned.

Speaking of elections, the midterms still haven’t played out, and some big questions hang in the balance. Some states have not certified the results, and it looks like the courts will ultimately decide. We better hope that the population continues to have faith in elections, otherwise things could get ugly.

Elon Musk is issuing a blanket amnesty for Twitter accounts. Some on the left are so outraged that free speech will be allowed, they’re quitting as soon as they’ve made a stink. We’ve languished long enough over the synchronized explanations. The networks obviously can’t be trusted to tell the truth about anything. It’s all about outcomes.

We hear news about the war in Ukraine, but where’s that news coming from? Zelinski apparently wanted the West to jump to conclusions after two missiles landed in Poland. How many hundreds of billions of dollars have been sent to Ukraine so far? Is there some accounting for that money? We keep hearing reports that indicate Ukrainian forces have the Russians on the run, but who knows? It seems the media doesn’t mind yanking our chain whenever they can. Let’s just not blow up the world over this. It looks as if Zelinski wouldn’t mind if the whole world went to war, and maybe that’s in the best interests of the pretender too. It’s not going to be pretty when these under-the-table deals go public.

You saw what happened. Not two days after it was clear that Republicans would control the house and investigations into the international dealings of the first family were announced, what do you know? A new special council has been appointed to get Trump once and for all. Have you ever known a special council to get anything done inside of two years? That means the propaganda machine will be heating up just in time for the next presidential election.

Meanwhile, the land is full of bloody crimes. You can’t even stay abreast of all the mass shootings, stabbings and run-overs. There’s not time in a newscast to tell you the details of all the mayhem. Hopefully you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We all have tremendous blessings to be thankful for. It’s no wonder the third world is trying to stream into the U. S. before anything changes. Those who’ve said publicly that the border is secure seem to be insecure in their top tier jobs. We know how secure the border is, and we might even know why it is this way.

If our citizens can’t see that all God’s blessings are in jeopardy, the future is in question. All on account of some theory that can’t be defended. That’s why they’ve stopped trying to defend it. You don’t suppose they’ve been given over to a depraved mind? A reading of the first chapter of Romans makes you wonder about our leaders, the media and society in general. George Orwell is credited with saying that some ideas are so stupid, only intellectuals would believe them. We’re told to trust the intellectuals. Thanks anyway.

Greetings from Tyler,

It seems we may have been a little optimistic. Is it really possible that half of the people in the United States are bought in to all the foolishness? Are we to believe that the constant brainwashing has worked on the general population?

Our blessings have become political issues. We’re supposed to banish God’s blessings on account of some prognosticators who’ve been wrong about nearly everything for all these years? Maybe if world leaders attend more conferences they can coordinate the destruction of God’s blessings. Government has stuck its nose where it has no business. It’s a global movement with no front man. There’s no one to question. It’s a consensus!

It’s all UN commissions and university findings, sometimes financed by large grants. The system seems compromised. What are they supposed to do? Tell their benefactors that their theory holds no water? Even if it did, the premise that man or government is going to control the weather is preposterous. Don’t these people believe in God?

If we thought a big change was in the offing, we still don’t know. Watching the supervisor explain wasn’t very satisfying. The “goalposts might move?” We just want to know which direction the country is going. Is that too much to ask? Arizona and Nevada must be embarrassed to have every other state in the union wrapped up and they’re still working on it? Is it just a perception, or does the delayed outcome provide more opportunity for shenanigans? We may be in limbo as to the future direction of our governance, but it doesn’t look good.

Meanwhile, Europe isn’t doing so well. They’re well ahead of the United States in attempting to go green. Now they’re in recession and facing what might turn out to be a brutal Winter. You’ve probably heard, the crypto currencies just lost big. It’s amazing how much wealth has just evaporated out of the market. We hope your money wasn’t in crypto.

All the threats the world is facing are real. The international powers know there will probably never be a better time to take what they want. It is our fervent hope that the United States doesn’t stumble into a destructive war. But you have to wonder if that’s not what’s going to happen with these geniuses at the helm. They clearly don’t represent people who believe in God.

The Honduran migrant caravan is currently making its way up through Mexico, and looks like it’s expected to arrive at the southern U.S. border right before the midterms. Daily Wire podcast host Andrew Klavan thinks that timing is a little strange, and he explained what impact it could have on the upcoming elections on Monday’s episode of “The Andrew Klavan Show.”

“As the midterms approach, it is the right way to look at events like this: everything is being constructed and placed as a campaign issue,” he said. “So the big story you’re hearing about, or not hearing about if you’re watching the mainstream media, is this caravan, this invasion of people coming up from Honduras, and now Mexicans are joining as well, they broke through the Mexican lines and regathered. It started out with four thousand, now maybe seven thousand, they say maybe as high as ten thousand.

He continued: “Trump is saying he’s gonna cut off aid to Central American countries, he’s saying he’s gonna send the army down — which he’s completely within his rights to do; they defend our border. Of course, they’re gonna get here just in time for the midterms, right? We know as they get here — and I’m not usually suspicious about stuff like this but in this case I think you have to be — as we get to the midterms suddenly they’re not gonna have enough food, because obviously somebody’s paying for this, obviously somebody’s supporting them along the way, we’re gonna start to see this.”

Klavan pointed out that while the Democrats are remaining silent for the moment, once the images of crying babies start circling around social media, it will suddenly become a major issue.

“We’ll start to hear about the humanitarian crisis of it all, and we’ll start to hear what terrible people we are,” he explained. “But really, we cannot take in everybody. It’s a problem because if we stop them — we don’t want anybody to get killed, we don’t want there to be violence — but if we just let them in what happens? Next caravan; the next day they start building another caravan.”
