Nepal is facing what officials have described as ‘devastation beyond imagination’ after a ‘tsunami from the sky’ battered the area following a glacier collapse.

The rushing waters, reportedly reaching up to 650ft high, have left nearly 1,500 people missing and at least 389 dead.
