Greetings from Tyler,

There have been several important developments this week. One is the ascension of Boris Johnson to office of Prime Minister of the UK. The jury is still out on whether he’ll be able to extricate Britain from the European Union without remaining hostage to all manner of rules and regulations that deprive the nation of its sovereignty. Prime Minister Boris began by firing his entire cabinet, largely made up of politicians who were determined that Britain must remain hostage to the EU. He says that he’ll get the UK out of the EU by October 31st, “no ifs, ands or buts.”

It’s a tall order, one that Theresa May couldn’t manage, and the British press may well make it as difficult as possible. It seems that Boris Johnson gets along well with President Trump, which is two strikes against him as far as the media is concerned. This situation is ticklish. Nigel Farage, known as the “godfather of Brexit” says that great courage will be required of the new Prime Minister. Mr. Farage believes that a general election should be called, and believes that would solidify the authority of the new administration do to what must be done. That would fall in line with the things both Herbert W. and Garner Ted Armstrong were saying for 50 some years. “Britain will NOT be one of the TEN nations of Bible prophecy that make up the ‘beast’ power of Revelation.

The mainstream media is excited about both North Korea and Iran test-firing short and medium-range missiles. That’s causing plenty of energetic reporting because it gives the opportunity for them to report the prospect of failure for President Trump’s foreign policies. After the ruinous spectacle of the nationally televised Mueller hearings, they need something to hang their hat on.

This was their last gasp. They just had to get Mueller on camera to say something they could use to press ahead toward their impeachment dream. But Mueller was a tremendous disappointment. It looked like he’d had little if anything to do with the “report” that bore his name. He was completely unfamiliar with passages and footnotes that appeared within the report that he’d supposedly written. He’d apparently never heard of individuals and documents that were referenced (Glenn Simpson- Fusion GPS). For a few hours, it looked like those who were just sure that Mueller would produce the ammunition to destroy the Trump presidency were completely out of gas and defeated.

Even one of the most vocal proponents (Adam Schiff) of the “Trump-Russia” narrative concluded that the 2020 election remained the only method of getting rid of the Trump Presidency. But the air of defeat didn’t last. Soon, the networks were trotting out Congressmen to declare, “We have a felon in the White House. He lied, he obstructed justice and now it’s the job of Congress to see that justice is done” (Julian Castro, paraphrased).” After some behind-the-scenes meetings, the Trump-haters have regrouped and put impeachment back on the table. What else can they do?

They certainly can’t allow the news-cycle to be dominated by the slow trickle of information that will (someday) expose American intelligence agencies for attempting to overturn the 2016 election with bogus, filthy accusations made by Russian sources—bought and paid for by the opposing campaign—and carried out by high officials who are still doing their level best to destroy the President.

So impeachment is back on the table, and full-throated accusers are lined up for national television appearances.

It seems that there is plenty of documentation that will expose the plot and nail the high officials who put it in motion. It was CLASSIFIED. No one was authorized to access it, outside of a few individuals with high enough clearances, but they can’t tell us either. As many may know, the President declassified these materials and placed them at the disposal of new Attorney General Robert Barr. But they still haven’t been made public. The President did a LIVE interview last night in which he was asked about these materials, and we heard the same answer. “Bob Barr is highly respected, and it’s up to him to distribute these materials as he sees fit (paraphrased).” That’s it. Here we are, years into this debacle. The mainstream media have been intentionally dishonest. They have succeeded in convincing a sizable percentage of the public that Trump is a Russian agent, that he’s committed treason and is practicing criminality in the White House. The release of fraudulent documents, some of which were used to get court orders allowing domestic agencies to spy on Americans involved with the Trump campaign, pilfer through all their calls, e-mails and communications records, might finally put the truth of the situation out in the open where it would expose the perpetrators and their scheme.

For whatever reason (and we hope it’s a good one) the smoking-gun proof of their malfeasance remains hidden, and that’s where the mainstream media hopes it will stay.

For all the hype and exaggerated expectations, the whole Mueller investigation was an embarrassing flop. Now Mueller is a sympathetic figure. It appears his name and his reputation were used to lend credibility to another rogue operation designed to take Trump down. But it appears only a minor setback for his enemies. They’ll continue to investigate while calling the President and any who dare support him RACIST!

You might as well get comfortable with it. If we love our country, want it to survive a sovereign land where freedom reigns, that makes us racist according to politically-correct dogma. Unless you want everyone on earth to set up shop (or a tent on a sidewalk) in the United States, without going through the legal maze citizens must navigate, you are definitely guilty of their favorite charge. If you’re not prepared to pass the overwhelming burden of debt of unlimited health-care for all illegals (can we see a raise of hands?) on to your progeny, you might be– no, you are a RACIST!

That’s OK. The Bible says to count it all joy when falsely accused and spitefully used. So maybe we should be enjoying the constant drumbeat of hateful disgust aimed our way. Sooner or later (we hope sooner) the curtain will be pulled aside, and no one will be able to ignore the fact that the entire information conglomerate has been hijacked and used for propaganda and misinformation for two and a half years! It’s time we didn’t have to waste, and still don’t.

“Fox News Sunday” anchor Chris Wallace said former Special Counsel Robert Mueller’sHouse hearing has turned into a “disaster” for Democrats and for the former FBI director’s reputation.

Responding after the first few hours of the hearing before the House Judiciary Committee hearing, Wallace said Mueller offered little defense of his investigation amid repeated attacks from Republicans. He said Mueller has not put forth much “testimony” or new information.

“I think this has been a disaster for the Democrats and I think it’s been a disaster for the reputation of Robert Mueller. He has seemed very uncertain with his brief. He doesn’t seem to know things that are in the report,” Wallace told Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum during Fox News Channel’s all-day coverage of the House hearings.

“Over and over, Mueller just sits silent and allows the attacks from the Republicans to sweep over him and says nothing.”

Mueller was frequently tripped up and forced to ask lawmakers to repeat their questions during his rapid-fire questioning on Capitol Hill, though he reportedly prepared at length for the hearings.

At one point, he even said he wasn’t familiar with Fusion GPS, the opposition research firm behind the controversial anti-Trump dossier.

MUELLER REFUSES TO DISCUSS RUSSIA PROBE ORIGINS, STEELE DOSSIER IN TESTIMONY

The longtime lawman was known to be reluctant to testify, having made clear he would largely stick to the boundaries of his original report.

He reiterated Wednesday that his testimony before House committees would be based on the text of his report on Russian election interference and potential obstruction of the investigation.

Wallace said Mueller’s performance raises questions about the degree to which he was actually “in charge of the investigation.”

CLICK HERE TO GET THE FOX NEWS APP

Fox News contributor Katie Pavlich agreed, arguing that she questions whether “partisans” were the driving force behind the investigation, as President Trump has claimed.

“Robert Mueller is not doing himself any favors. He looks weak, he does not look strong, he cannot answer basic questions about what is in the report, when he’s saying the report is what I’m referring to,” she argued, adding Democrats are not getting what they wanted out of the hearing.

Later in the coverage, after the Judiciary Committee hearing ended, Wallace said Democrats “had their moments” but he does not believe the testimony will change the minds of many Democrats on impeachment.

The House voted down an impeachment resolution by a margin of 332 to 95 last week, with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi expressing her opposition to impeaching Trump.

“[Nancy Pelosi] may end up, unintentionally, being the big winner today because I don’t think the drive for impeachment gained any momentum, in fact, it may have lost some,” he said.

Former Special Counsel Robert Mueller was frequently tripped up and forced to ask lawmakers to repeat their questions during his rapid-fire questioning on Capitol Hill on Wednesday, though he reportedly prepared at length for the hearings.

At one point, he even said he wasn’t familiar with Fusion GPS, the opposition research firm behind the controversial anti-Trump dossier.

The longtime lawman was known to be reluctant to testify, having made clear he would largely stick to the boundaries of his original report. He reiterated Wednesday that his testimony before House committees would be based on the text of his report on Russian election interference and potential obstruction of the investigation.

But that didn’t stop a barrage of detail-rich questions that seemed to throw off the usually stone-faced investigator.

House Judiciary Committee Ranking Member Rep. Doug Collins, R-Ga., focused his questions on the former Special Counsel’s findings that the investigation did not establish any conspiracy between President Trump and Russia. Collins asked Mueller if “conspiracy” and “collusion” were colloquially the same thing, and Mueller said no. Collins then quoted Mueller’s own report, which indicated otherwise.

EX-SPECIAL COUNSEL ROBERT MUELLER TESTIFIES TO CONGRESS — LIVE BLOG

“As defined in legal dictionaries, collusion is largely synonymous with conspiracy as that crime is set forth in the general federal conspiracy statute,” Collins read from the report. “Now, you said you chose your words carefully. Are you contradicting your report right now?”

“Not when I read it,” Mueller replied, prompting Collins to ask, “So you would change your answer to yes?”

“No, no, the uh, if you look at the language,” Mueller said before trailing off.

Collins pressed further, saying, “I’m reading your report, sir. It’s a yes or no answer.”

Mueller asked for the page number of the report, then stammered before saying he would “leave it with the report.” When Collins stated that the report says that the terms “collusion” and “conspiracy” are synonymous, Mueller said, “Yes.”

Mueller appeared flustered by Collins’ questioning, although the congressman admitted he has a tendency to speak quickly. Collins said he would try to speak slowly but still maintained a rapid pace during his five-minute grilling.

MUELLER REFUSES TO DISCUSS RUSSIA PROBE ORIGINS, STEELE DOSSIER IN TESTIMONY

Nevertheless, Mueller appeared off his game even after the fast-talking Collins was done.

Rep. Zoe Lofgren, D-Calif., went next, speaking at a more deliberate pace. After her first question about the extent to which Russia interfered in the 2016 election, Mueller responded, “Could you repeat that, Ma’am?”

At another point, he asked GOP Rep. Jim Sensenbrenner what he was reading from.

“I’m reading from my question,” the Wisconsin lawmaker shot back before Mueller again asked him to repeat his question.

Congressional Republicans accused former Special Counsel Robert Mueller on Wednesday of operating under a double standard in his Russia investigation, alleging during a heated Hill hearing that Mueller threw the book at Trump associates while ignoring wrongdoing by others.

Republicans, for years, have attempted to draw a stark distinction between how the FBI and Mueller pursued allegations against President Trump and his campaign during the 2016 presidential election and how they reviewed alleged misconduct by prominent Democratic figures and those associated with them.

MUELLER SAYS HE IS ‘NOT FAMILIAR’ WITH FUSION GPS, THE FIRM BEHIND STEELE DOSSIER

On Wednesday, during the first round of Mueller’s testimony before the House Judiciary Committee, GOP lawmakers repeatedly confronted the former special counsel with that accusation — with lines of questioning meant to illustrate a double standard.

At one point, Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., asked if he can say whether the controversial anti-Trump dossier “was not part of Russia’s disinformation campaign.”

“No – as I said in my opening statement, I-uh, I, that part of the … building of the case predated me by at least 10 months,” Mueller replied.

Gaetz noted such reasoning did not stop prosecutors from going after Trump’s former campaign chairman. “Paul Manafort’s alleged crimes regarding tax evasion predated you but you didn’t have a problem charging him,” he said.

Gaetz and Mueller went back-and-forth over the anti-Trump dossier, which was authored and compiled by ex-British intelligence officer Christopher Steele. The dossier was created on behalf of Fusion GPS—the firm that was hired to conduct opposition research funded by the Democratic National Committee and the Hillary Clinton campaign through law firm Perkins Coie. The dossier “formed an essential part” of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrants approved to surveil then-Trump campaign associate Carter Page, according to a House GOP memo alleging government surveillance abuse during 2016.

Gaetz complained Wednesday that concerns about Fusion and Steele were largely not in the report, and figures associated with them were not charged.

“When people associated with Trump lie, you throw the book at them. When Christopher Steele [lies], nothing,” he said.

Mueller on Wednesday claimed he was “not familiar” with Fusion GPS, despite Steele’s reporting being referenced in his report. He also continued to state that the Steele matter is “beyond my purview.”

Gaetz fired back: “No — that’s directly in your purview Mr. Mueller and here’s why. Either Steele made this whole thing up and there were never any Russians telling him of this vast criminal conspiracy that you didn’t find, or, Russians lied to Steele.”

MUELLER REFUSED TO DISCUSS RUSSIA PROBE ORIGINS, STEELE DOSSIER IN TESTIMONY

“Now if Russians were lying to Steele to undermine our confidence in our newly elected president, that would be precisely in your purview because you stated in your opening that the organizing principle was to fully and thoroughly investigate Russian interference. But you weren’t interested in whether the Russians interfered through Steele—and if Steele was lying, then you should have charged him with lying like you charged a variety of other people,” Gaetz continued.

The bulk of charges against Trump associates in Mueller’s investigation were based on false statements made either during the probe or to Congress. Six Trump campaign associates indicted in Mueller’s sprawling investigation were all charged with violating U.S.C. 1001—or making false statements.

They include former Trump campaign aide Rick Gates; former Trump personal attorney Michael Cohen; former Trump adviser Roger Stone; former White House national security adviser Michael Flynn; and former Trump campaign foreign policy adviser George Papadopoulos.

Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, directly questioned Mueller on his decisions to charge those “around the president” with false statements, and not several other key figures who played a central role in launching the investigation as a whole.

Jordan referenced Maltese professor Joseph Mifsud, who in 2016 told Papadopoulos that the Russians had dirt in the form of emails that could damage Clinton’s presidential campaign. Papadopoulos then told Australian diplomat Alexander Downer of the new information. Downer reported Papadopoulos’ comments to him to the FBI and effectively launched the bureau’s original investigation into the Trump campaign and coordination with the Russian government, according to reports.

DIPLOMAT WHO HELPED LAUNCH RUSSIA PROBE SPEAKS OUT, DEFENDS ROLE

“Three times Mifsud lied to the FBI and you didn’t charge him with a crime. He lied three times—you pointed it out in the report—why didn’t you charge him with a crime?” Jordan asked.

Mueller replied: “I can’t get into internal deliberations with regard to who would or would not be–.”

“You charged a lot of other people with making false statements. Let’s remember this, in 2016, the FBI did something they probably haven’t done before. They spied on two American citizens associated with a presidential campaign—George Papadopoulos and Carter Page,” Jordan said. “With Page, they went to the FISA court and used the now-famous dossier to get a warrant. With Papadopoulos, they didn’t go to court—they used human sources—from the moment Papadopoulos joined the Trump campaign, you got people all around the world starting to swirl around him.”

Jordan went on to list Downer and Mifsud, among others.

“Mifsud is the guy who told Papadopoulos [about Russian dirt], he was the guy who started it all, yet when the FBI interviews him, he lies three times. You don’t charge him,” Jordan said. “The guy who starts the country through this saga—for three years we’ve been going through this now—he lies, you guys don’t charge him, and I’m curious to why.”

Mueller responded: “Well I can’t get into it and it’s obvious, I think, that we can’t get into charging decisions.”

“You can charge 13 Russians no one’s ever heard of, no one’s ever seen, no one’s ever going to see, you can charge all kind of people who were around the president with false statements, but the guy who launches everything—puts this whole show in motion—you don’t charge him. I think that’s amazing,” Jordan said.

“I’m not sure I agree with your characterizations,” Mueller said in an attempt to defend his report and team’s work.

“Well I’m reading from your report,” Jordan scoffed back.

The president, his surrogates, and Republicans on Capitol Hill since the start of the Mueller investigation have called for a separate probe into alleged misconduct at the FBI and with regard to the initial opening of its Russia counterintelligence review.

“Maybe a better course of action is to figure out how the false accusations started. Maybe find out why Mifsud was lying to the FBI—and here’s the good news—that’s exactly what Bill Barr is doing and thank goodness for that,” Jordan said.

Barr appointed U.S. Attorney from Connecticut John Durham to probe “all intelligence collection activities” related to the Trump campaign during the 2016 presidential election. Barr assigned Durham to also conduct the inquiry into alleged misconduct and alleged improper government surveillance on the Trump campaign, as well as whether Democrats were the ones who improperly coordinated with foreign actors.
