The suspect behind the Christmas Day bombing in downtown Nashville has been identified as 63-year-old Anthony Quinn Warner, authorities confirmed during a press conference Sunday.

Police said Warner owned the RV that exploded in downtown Nashville early Friday, and that he died in the blast.

Human tissue was found amongst the debris left behind by the explosion, and DNA examinations of tissue samples by The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and FBI were found to be consistent with Warner. In addition, the Tennessee Highway Patrol uncovered a vehicle identification number from the remains of the RV, which revealed it was registered to Warner.

Authorities said that, while they are still following leads, there is “no indication” that any other people were involved.

Police added that a motive for the bombing remains unknown and that officials are looking to speak with anyone familiar with Warner’s ideologies. Police are interviewing individuals identified to have been known by Warner and are still processing evidence from the scene.

In addition, police stressed that Nashville is “considered safe” and that there are “no known threats against the city”. However, a curfew will be in place in the area of the blast while the investigation continues.

Warner was believed to have lived at a home in Antioch, Tennessee. The FBI and several other law enforcement agencies searched the home for several hours on Saturday. The home address on Google Earth shows the same RV parked in different places on the property dating back several years.

Separately, a law enforcement official told The Associated Press that federal investigators have started examining Warner’s digital footprint and financial history. They are also examining a recent deed transfer of a home in suburban Nashville. Warner had experience with electronics and alarms, according to public records.

Police said the RV sounded warnings to evacuate and a 15-minute countdown to clear the area. The voice of the woman on the recording is believed to be a robotic, computerized voice, the sources said.

The RV also blasted a song before it detonated, which was identified by law enforcement as “Downtown” by Petula Clark.

Investigators continued to piece together how this individual could have assembled a bomb and over what time frame.

“It’s just going to take us some time,” Douglas Korneski, the special agent in charge of the FBI’s Memphis field office, said at a Saturday afternoon news conference. “Our investigative team is turning over every stone” to understand who did this and why.

The attack, which damaged an AT&T building, has continued to wreak havoc on cellphone service and police and hospital communications in several Southern states as the company worked to restore service.

The speculation has probably already begun.  Merry holiday greetings arrived in the form of a giant car-bomb in downtown Nashville, and the police say it was exploded intentionally.  Eyewitness reports are flying.  Even though the blast went off at 6:30 am, it was reportedly preceded by the sound of gunshots which had first responders already on their way to the scene when the blast detonated.

Amazingly, no one was killed.  Only a few were hospitalized, apparently with minor injuries.  A security video is circulating which hears a loudspeaker announcement telling people within earshot to evacuate immediately.  A local woman is saying the announcement saved her life.  Who is responsible?  And what are the chances we’ll ever know for sure?

Somebody is bound to report what all the “experts” are saying on the news networks.  They’re not known to be particularly reliable, to put it mildly.  But hold on to your hat, the FIB is springing into action.  This could turn out to be bigger than the noose in Bubba’s garage!  Experience tells us that information will be kept to a minimum until they charge a culprit, and then it’ll be the wrong guy.  Remember the mass shooting in Las Vegas?  We still have no idea.  But it may be different this time.

The arbiters of all truth will have it figured out pretty quickly, if they don’t already, and then ban all opinion to the contrary.  But the speculation has already begun, and it will accelerate.  Was it terrorism?  If so, it’s the first time terrorists have gone out of their way to make sure nobody got killed.  Was it a “false flag” incident, perhaps perpetrated by the outfits responsible for investigating?  That one is already going around.  Was it disgruntled Trump supporters?  The news purveyors surely hope so.  After what we’ve lived through, we know for a fact that there will never be unilateral agreement on responsibility for this, no matter what they report.  We hope we’re wrong.

We knew months ago that we’d be in this fix.  So far, the Supreme Court has declined to hear any evidence relating to “election irregularities,” but that may not be the end of it.  There may yet be cards that have not been played, and the principals seem to have remained calm.  The President may not be making plans to leave the White House after all.  Don’t tell anybody in the mainstream media.  They’ve already popped the Champagne corks and shot off fireworks.  Their pretense that Americans are predominantly “woke” has become a self-fulfilling prophecy, and they have yet to sense that anything can change their minds.  It’s going to get interesting.  It’s already gotten ugly.

Finally, after years of posturing and threats, Britain’s exit out of the European Union is complete.  British Prime Minister Boris Johnson made the announcement, and said the agreement is a five hundred page document which now has only to be approved by the House of Commons.  Both the EU and the British say it is a good deal for both.  It was hard-fought, and about five years in the making, and we’re glad it’s over with no hard feelings.

It was a brave stand by the British people, throwing off the yoke of EU demands, quotas for immigrants and the like.  It might have had something to do with sparking Americans to take a stand against our own authoritarian agencies, and the bumpy ride toward global rules and mandates.  The mainstream media assures us we’re headed toward a bright future of punishment for prosperity.  They’ll defend the environment by “making sure” we’re properly “green,” with persuasion if necessary.

Won’t it be great when we can all admit what racists we’ve been?  It’ll be swell when we’re killing time waiting for our vehicle to re-charge, and have rediscovered the wonders of composting.  We’ll have the laundry blowing on the balcony (like every other 3rd world paradise), and the windmill whirring.  We’ll be cooking over an open fire– no wait– that’ll probably be banned, as it already is in every “woke” city.

With any luck at all, none of that will come to pass.  God is on His throne, and it’s hard to imagine that all the liars, all the evil-doers, to include those who’ve defrauded all Americans’ most basic rights to choose our leaders and to live in freedom, are going to be ruling over this nation.  May they rue the day they dreamed this up.

NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE – Authorities believe an explosion that rocked the downtown Nashville area early on Christmas Day was a deliberate act, according to Metro Nashville Police Department.

Police spokesman Don Aaron said the 6:30 a.m. explosion, which shattered glass and damaged buildings, was believed to be “an intentional act.” Police earlier said they believe a vehicle was involved in the explosion. He said three people were taken to area hospitals for treatment, although none were in critical condition.

Police and fire crews were on the scene, as were investigators from the FBI and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

“Right now, it’s a public safety concern, to make sure everybody is accounted for and to make sure the spread of the fire doesn’t go any further,” Michael Knight, a spokesman for the ATF in Nashville, told The Associated Press.

Black smoke and flames were seen early Friday billowing from the area, which is packed with bars, restaurants, and other retail establishments and is known as the heart of downtown Nashville’s tourist scene.

Buildings shook in the immediate area and beyond after a loud boom was heard.

Buck McCoy, who lives near the area, posted videos on Facebook that show water pouring down the ceiling of his home. Alarms blare in the background and cries of people in great distress ring in the background. A fire is visible in the street outside. McCoy said the windows of his home were entirely blown out.

“All my windows, every single one of them got blown into the next room. If I had been standing there it would have been horrible,” he said.

“It felt like a bomb. It was that big,” he told The Associated Press.

“There were about four cars on fire. I don’t know if it was so hot they just caught on fire, and the trees were all blown apart,” he said.
