At least seven individuals were arrested by Azerbaijani authorities on charges of attempting to carry out a coup to establish a state under Sharia law in Azerbaijan and to carry out riots and assassinations, the country’s Interior Ministry, State Security Service and Prosecutor General’s Office announced on Tuesday.

The alleged cell was organized by Rufulla Akhundzadah and his son Almursal Akhundzadah, who Azerbaijani authorities accuse of working with Iran’s security services. The cell aimed to establish a state under Sharia law “by forcefully changing the constitutional structure of the Republic of Azerbaijan by causing armed riots on the territory of the country and organizing assassinations on the lives of well-known and official persons,” according to the announcement.

Akhundzadah created groups on WhatsApp, Telegram and other instant messaging services in order to recruit the cell and presented the cell with a list of officials and public figures and their addresses. Akhundzadah allegedly instructed the cell members to obtain firearms and prepare Molotov cocktails.

The Taliban have been tracking down Afghans who worked with the previous government, the US, or the rest of NATO, according to a confidential report to the United Nations from a Norwegian intelligence service and seen by Insider.

Its findings indicate a contrast to the Taliban’s promises earlier this week that they will grant amnesty to those who collaborated with its old enemies. The four-page report, dated Wednesday, was compiled by the RHIPTO Norwegian Center for Global Analyses, which provides intelligence to the UN.

It said the hardline Islamist group is now keeping priority lists of Afghans to be arrested and is collecting intelligence on their phone numbers and families.

“Taliban are intensifying the hunt-down of all individuals and collaborators with the former regime, and if unsuccessful, target and arrest the families and punish them according to their own interpretation of Sharia law. Particularly at risk are individuals in central positions in military, police, and investigative units,” it read.

The report includes a written letter from the Taliban that summoned an Afghan national who worked in counterterrorism for the previous Afghan government. The man was approached at his apartment on Tuesday by a group of men believed to be the Taliban, who said they wanted to detain him for questioning, per the report.

“You were working closely with the Americans and British forces to target the Mujahideen,” reads the letter in Pashto. “We were also informed that you had traveled to the United Kingdom… which indicates you have had excellent relations with the American and British.”

The letter asked the recipient to report to a commission in Kabul and provide information on his relationship with the US and UK. If he did not, his family would be arrested and treated according to the Sharia law, it added. His name was redacted from the report.

RHIPTO knows of more cases and summons letters like these, Christian Nellemann, the group’s executive director, told Insider in an email.

“The Taliban didn’t turn nice last week with their statement, as the assassinations, arrests and also executions and targeting of families has shown in the last month,” wrote Nellemann.

Thousands have tried to flee Kabul after it fell to the Taliban on Sunday, including drivers, security personnel, and translators who used to work with foreign organizations. Footage has emerged online of people clinging to military planes as they take off from Kabul airport runways, as well as what appeared to be people falling from jets in the sky.

A 19-year-old soccer star was among those who died – he was killed in the landing gear of a US military plane, said one report.

The media-political establishment of the United States of America suffers from remarkable hubris. Despite the atrocious conduct of the USA in recent times, the liberal media and the Democrat party continues to feign moral superiority over the rest of the world, especially India. As the USA continues to struggle through an era of the great divide, CNN has become the embodiment of the rot that has taken over the country. In an article published by CNN on the 20th of November titled “In secular India, it’s getting tougher to be Muslim”, the author expects India to tolerate a state of affairs that the USA will never tolerate within its own territory.

The author uses the abrogation of Article 370, the Supreme Court verdict on the Ram Janmabhoomi case and the NRC to paint a picture of Muslims in India living as second-class citizens.

The author of the CNN article about India says about the Ayodhya verdict, “The ruling on the Ayodhya site was seen as a blow to Muslims. It also came at a time when Muslims increasingly see themselves as second-class citizens in the predominantly Hindu country.” The author states further, “In August, the Indian government stripped the majority-Muslim state of Jammu and Kashmir of its autonomous status, essentially giving New Delhi more control over the region’s affairs.”

She adds, “That same month, nearly two million people in India’s northeast Assam state were left off a controversial new National Register of Citizens, which critics feared could be used to justify religious discrimination against Muslims in the state. All of this comes under the shadow of the country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a self-proclaimed Hindu nationalist who has spoken out repeatedly against India’s secularism.”

This is a deliberate attempt to slander India at the international scene. We can only be grateful for the fact that CNN is not taken seriously even in the USA, let alone in India. And it is precisely this adamant refusal of the alleged news network to ignore facts at the altar of a preferred narrative that has destroyed CNN’s credibility.

The Ayodhya verdict was delivered by the Supreme Court of India, the conclusion wasn’t decided by the Narendra Modi led government. Will liberals now say the Supreme Court has fallen victim to Hindu Nationalism as well? Of course they will, it’s because they respect institutions only when they peddle the liberal agenda. Regarding the abrogation of Article 370, will the USA tolerate a law that provides for an Islamic state within its territory? All of us know the answer to that question and yet, India is expected to tolerate the same. Why?

With regard to the NRC, it is the duty of every country to ensure that illegal immigrants do not leech off the limited resources that are available to it. And the exercise is designed to suit that purpose. The political establishment of the USA may have different ideas but it is the moral imperative of every government to prioritize its own citizens over illegal immigrants. The political establishment of both parties in the USA do not believe it to be so. That is why Donald Trump got elected in the first place.

One of the reasons why the USA is so divided today is because of immigration. The Democrats support it because it increases their vote-bank. The Republican establishment supports it because it benefits businesses. But the average American is sick of it and does not want such a thing. That is why they voted Donald Trump to power, someone who promised to fix it but has been unable to due to resolute resistance from the political establishment.

India has different priorities than the United States and we still live in a country where Democracy at least functions the way it is supposed to. Narendra Modi promised to abrogate Article 370, he promised to enforce the NRC in Assam, his rise to power is defined by the Ram Janmabhoomi Movement and he has never shied away from it. Indians elected Narendra Modi to power on the basis of these promises and he delivered on these fronts. This is how a Democracy is supposed to work, not like the USA where an overwhelming majority of Americans do not want illegal immigration but the political establishment of both parties conspire to force it upon them.

Then, the author of the CNN article argues that the future looked bleak for India because of the looming prospect of a Uniform Civil Code. She says, “Currently, India has separate marriage, property and adoption rules for people from different religions — but code would wipe those out. That particularly worries the Muslim community, as it could mean that Sharia law no longer governs their marriage, inheritance and succession rights.” And adds, “Analysts worry that India’s attempt at marrying a pluralist society with a secularist system of governance will continue to be chipped away at as the ideas proposed by Hindu nationalists gain mainstream credence and support from citizens and public institutions.”

It is a ridiculous assertion that could only find credence in the minds of Western liberals. Does Sharia have any place in American society? Would their favorite president Barack Obama propose Sharia law in America? Did Muslims live in great fear in the USA during Barack Obama’s tenure as President? They did not have Sharia law governing United States jurisprudence back then and they do not have it now either. If any party or politician would propose Sharia law in the United States, they would be hammered by everyone. Why is it then that Western liberals expect India to tolerate Sharia law in our country? Is the USA a less pluralistic country because it doesn’t have Sharia in its society?

Amusingly enough, the enforcement of a Uniform Civil Code is a pretty liberal idea and every liberal ought to celebrate the abolition of Sharia law. And yet, we see continuously that its liberals who explicitly support Sharia. It only goes on to show that liberals love Islam more than liberalism and liberalism ends where Muslim feelings begin.

The article also uses Asaduddin Owaisi, a rabid hatemonger whose own brother wanted the Police to be lifted for 15 minutes so that Muslims could show Hindus who were the boss, to further its own charade. It also uses various other ’eminent intellectuals’ to further the notion that India is headed towards dark times.

Apparently, in order to uphold Secularism and liberal values, CNN believes India has to tolerate an Islamic state within its territory, it has to tolerate Shariah law and it has to tolerate illegal immigration as well. Does this look anything like Secularism or Liberalism? If it does, India wants none of it and it voted for a party that wants none of it either. And the political party is respecting the voters’ wishes. That is how Democracy is supposed to function.

(Natural News) A Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request filed by an Ann Arbor, Mich., law firm has turned up evidence of a widespread Islamic propaganda campaign being waged against public school teachers in the state and elsewhere.

As reported by The Gateway Pundit, the Thomas More Law Center (TMLC) became concerned about Christian-bashing Islamic materials being force-fed to teachers after being notified of a mandatory two-day training course presented by a Muslim consultant hired by Michigan’s Novi Community Schools District.

The law center “filed a FOIA request for documents related to this two-day Islamic training workshop and discovered that the teachers were being told lies about Islamic terrorism, jihad, and Sharia law,” TGP reported.

What’s more, teachers were being told by a Muslim consultant for Culture Links LLC, Huda Essa, a hijab-clad Arab woman from Dearborn, that white males are more dangerous than Islamic jihadists and terrorists.

“We found that the teachers were subjected to two days of Islamic propaganda, where Islam was glorified, Christianity disparaged, and America bashed—all funded by Novi taxpayers,” said Richard Thompson, TMLC’s president and chief counsel.

“This type of infiltration amounts to an Islamic Trojan horse within our public school systems,” he continued. “No other religion gets this kind of special treatment in our schools.”

The notion that “white males” present a bigger “terrorist threat” in the U.S. comes from mass shootings over the past several years, the majority of which have indeed been committed by young, white men. However, the vast majority of those attacks were not considered acts of domestic terrorism, so to characterize them that was is factually incorrect. The lie has been repeated by Muslim members of Congress as well such as Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.).

As for the Muslim curriculum uncovered by TMLC, the legal group noted that over the past five years, the school district in question has not presented similar teacher-training seminars that focused on Christianity, Judaism, or any other religion — just Islam.

This is all part of the Left’s efforts to destroy American culture

The center noted further in a press release: 

Most disappointing was the fact that of the more than 400 teachers attending the workshop, not one teacher challenged Essa’s denigration of Christianity or attacks on America.

The legal organization reviewed scores of internal school documents as well as audio recordings of Essa’s presentation, uncovering a raft of falsehoods and errors of omission the center believes were intended to deceive course participants.

For instance, she provided “no truthful information” regarding Sharia law and jihad, which are considered some of the most important tenets of the Islamic religion. All references to terrorism were depicted as having nothing at all to do with Islam, and white Christian males were depicted as being more threatening and dangerous than Muslim extremists.

TMLC officials also found that the materials Essa presented were not celebratory of “patriotic Americans who believe in our nation’s exceptionalism,” according to the press release.

What’s more, she’s been spreading her “trash American first” propaganda to a growing list of American colleges and universities. Her client list includes professional educator associations throughout her home state of Michigan but also schools in California, Texas, Florida, Georgia, and others.

The materials are presented under the guise of ‘spreading diversity,’ but again, the curriculum is distinctly anti-American and focused only on spreading an often false view of Islam. She also believes that the Koran, the Muslim holy book, is superior to the Christian Bible, according to the law center’s review of her materials.

It’s not hard to see what the Left is attempting to do with the spread of counter-cultural materials: Destroy American traditions, undermine our founding, and — eventually — replace our republican form of government with an enslaving tyranny.
