The White House on Thursday during a background call with reporters announced framework deals with Argentina, Guatemala, El Salvador, and Ecuador that it hopes will bring down the costs of certain groceries.

These deals come after President Donald Trump and some of his top allies promised an announcement on a deal to help alleviate the price increases of bananas, coffee and other agricultural goods, but a senior administration official on the call could not provide any specifics about how much relief this would bring to Americans’ wallets.

According to data from the September 2025 Consumer Price Index, coffee prices have spiked 18.9%, bananas are up 6.9% and beef prices are up 14.7% in the past year.

Did you see the look on Trump’s face when he saw the crown that had been gifted to him? The media is as snotty as ever, especially the British press. But then they are in their glory with news of Prince Andrew. It’s not pretty. The Prince Andrew saga is nearing its final chapter. He’s been stripped of all his titles, and thoroughly disgraced. I’ve been a skeptic, but it’s starting to get real. The British press is merciless.

Trump is traveling the world and who can keep up? You probably saw the photo of the crown they gave him in South Korea. It only gives the media comfort, they’re already calling him a king. But he’s traveling the world and on a mission. He wants to be known as the greatest president ever.

Trump is jetting somewhere else, accepting gifts and asking nicely, and that’s an order!  Nobody in their right mind wants to be on his bad side. Every nation on earth is talking about building a plant in the United States and that’s because Trump is playing hardball and nobody wants to be on the wrong side.

The Caribbean has been hit with hurricane Melissa, Category 5. Roads are blocked and rubble is everywhere. No lights, no phones, roads are blocked. It’s terrible, but the people seem resilient. Already there are videos showing the damage and the cleanup, which will take years. 

I’ve been to some of the islands. My Dad rode out a hurricane, I think in Jamaica, and experienced the eye passing right over. He said it was calm as could be, and then they had to shelter again. There’s probably still rubble left over, but now there’s more.

Who knows what’s going to become of Ukraine?  Zelensky thinks he’ll play hardball, hoping Trump doesn’t make an independent deal with Putin. I’m trying to decide between Zelinsky and Putin. I don’t like either. Trump is making both uncomfortable. 

Up until now the government shutdown has been largely academic. But weeks have passed and people are starting to worry. A bunch of handout programs are about to be bust and you wonder what they’ll think of next.

God has blessed us beyond anything the world has seen. We don’t even feel envious when we hear how the “stars” are living. I bet we’re sleeping better.   

I almost forgot. It’s Halloween and time to spend a night with the porch light off.

The whole media is out to get Trump. The news organizations are beside themselves, but he’s smiling the whole time. It’s about to get real, all the scoundrels who thought they’d get Trump one way or another are going down, most of them anyway. All the lawsuits, all the criminal investigations, where are they now? These men thought they’d never be out of power, I guess, and they’d never have to pay the price for their deeds. They’re not sleeping well.

Trump is hiking tariffs on many foreign countries who have been taking advantage of the U. S. It’s not like they’re not still trying, but Trump holds them to account. Fair is fair, and the other countries have been taking advantage of the U. S. for too long. They can cry their eyes out, but they can’t stand up to what the President is doing and saying. He has a team who knows what they’re doing

and time is short. 

He’s got emissaries carrying his message to all parts of the world. The United States is through being taken advantage of, and now you can bet they are going to pay. 

Nearly everyday there’s another drug boat being blown out of the water. It’s going to get hard to recruit people to guide them, with all their compatriots at the bottom of the sea. 

Trump is heading overseas to meet the new Prime Minister of Japan. It’s a woman, Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi, the first female ever to lead Japan. Then he’s heading to South Korea to meet with Xi. Wouldn’t you love to be a fly on the wall.

Israel, now that’s another story. Their government voted to annex the West Bank, but that’s not going to happen. Israel’s ruling party didn’t vote, in fact wasn’t even there. It’s a very different situation in Israel. Who can understand it? My Dad told me something interesting about Israel, and I think it still holds true. They have to have an outside enemy to fight, otherwise it’s pure chaos. 

I wish my Granddad could be here. I wonder what he’d be saying now. Thankfully, we’re in America during one of the greatest revivals we’ve ever seen. Sometimes God has other plans.

The stock market is down today and it’s all Trump’s fault. That’s what the media would have you believe anyway. As soon as something doesn’t go up, it’s because of Trump. The mainstream is getting kind of hard to watch, because they blame everything on you-know-who. They’ve apparently even removed him from the impeachment exhibit at the Smithsonian. I know the stock market is down today, but they’re trying to hang it around our necks. I have a feeling everything’s going to be ok.

Trump is promising sanctions on Russia. They’re talking about shock and awe in the mainstream. I have a feeling our leaders know what they’re doing (for a change) and America is the beneficiary.

You can hardly watch or read the mainstream media, they’re all out to get our President. Bad news is his fault and good news is in spite of him.

Now they’ve discovered the shroud of Turin is not what they claimed it to be. Apparently it was produced, and then “found.” They’ve been at this a long time. I could have told them it wasn’t legit. The Catholics repeat something over and over, and it becomes true! This is not a modern phenomena, but it still goes on.

They’ve been carrying on about Ghislaine Maxwell, but aren’t prepared to give her immunity. I’ve never known whether to believe all the stories. At this point who knows what to believe? Most believe the media’s take on the whole Epstein saga. But when haven’t they lied to us? They can’t even mention anyone’s name without saying their peace. I don’t believe them anymore.

We’ve had to live through some bad times, with the bad guys being in charge. I’ll bet they’re scared to death right now. The President wants to stay out of it and let nature take it’s course. I for one am going to hate to see us bogged down in old news. But these people have it coming. I just wish we didn’t have to live through it. Apparently Peter Strzok and Lisa Page were awarded a large sum ($2,000,000) from the Justice Department. They better spend it quick because the nonsense that occurred under Biden is about to hit the fan.

Tulsi Gabbard has been alluding to trouble up ahead, and it goes to the legitimacy of the 2020 election. What if they find out it was stolen? What do we do, go on like it didn’t happen? At this point we don’t know what will happen. Evidence is coming out that Joe Biden was not capable of being on the job. People we never heard of were running our country, and we’re going to have to be front and center as it gets set right.

Britain has imported hordes of Islamic types, and they’ll never be the same. I’m aware that makes some people mad, but read the news. They have so much compassion that the most popular baby name is Islamic. That can’t be good news for the future. They’ve got problems that they created for themselves by being “woke.” America is not about to become Islamic, whatever have been the policies of the past.

Thank goodness we’ve got a president who loves the country, can’t be bribed, and we’re looking forward to a boom. But the media isn’t having it. They put forth wrong projections and a bust is just around the corner to hear them tell it. I think they’re talking out their hat, but we’ll see.

Suddenly things have taken off. I have to dodge the commercial vehicles on my way to work. Things seem to be going well, but you’d never know it by listening to the mainstream. Right now we’ve got a lot to be thankful for, and we’d better give thanks.

Governments including those of Taiwan, Japan and South Korea have begun negotiations with Washington after President Donald Trump announced sweeping tariffs against almost all of America’s trading partners on April 2. The import taxes were quickly paused against most countries after markets panicked, but he increased his already steep tariffs against China.

“China firmly opposes any party reaching a deal at the expense of China’s interests,” China’s Commerce Ministry said in a statement. “If this happens, China will never accept it and will resolutely take countermeasures in a reciprocal manner. China is determined and capable of safeguarding its own rights and interests.”

U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said earlier this month the countries currently negotiating trade deals with the U.S. should “approach China as a group” together with Washington.

After last-minute calls with Trump, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau agreed to reinforce his country’s border with the US to clamp down on migration and the flow of the deadly drug fentanyl.

Earlier, Trump made a deal with Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum. She agreed to reinforce the northern border with troops. In return the US would limit the flow of guns into Mexico.

But a US tariff of 10% on Chinese imports has come into effect, after a deadline of 00:01 EST (05:00 GMT) on Tuesday passed.

Putin and President To Lam agreed to further cooperate in education, science and technology, oil and gas exploration and clean energy. The two countries also agreed to work on a roadmap for a nuclear science and technology center in Vietnam.

Of the 12 publicly announced agreements, none overtly pertained to defense but Lam said there were other deals that were not made public.

Putin said the two countries share an interest in “developing a reliable security architecture” in the Asia-Pacific region with no room for “closed military-political blocs.” Lam added that both Russia and Vietnam wanted to “further cooperate in defense and security to cope with non-traditional security challenges.”
