We seem to have the next thing to open battle about the border.  The Texas governor has invoked the word invasion, which gives him special authorities.  You’ve seen the video from the border.  Everything is working like a clock.  Until the governor orders razor wire strung, then we have to have federal agents cutting the wire to let the immigrants take advantage of the system they’ve set up.  It looks like a clash.  The Supreme Court ruled that the feds can cut the fencing, but didn’t say a word about Texas continuing to spool it out.  This story is not over.

The FBI has new standards for hiring, and they’re not what they used to be.  Apparently they’re hiring based on DEI standards, so some candidates are not what you’d expect.  Maybe these DEI standards are going to put everybody out of business. 

You’ve heard about the door on the Alaska Airlines jet?  Good thing it blew out at low altitude, or they’d have had a much bigger problem on their hands.  All a company has to do is get on board with the new standards!  If that puts a manufacturer out of business, oh well.  At least everything was FAIR to who ever didn’t know how to put the door on the plane.  

The prosecutions continue against Donald Trump, and he seems to be making the court appearances.  You can follow them elsewhere.  Apparently he stormed out of court when the judge suggested his lawyer could go to jail.  The judge seems to have determined his guilt ahead of time, speaking up as he has.  Apparently Trump’s in trouble for calling his tormentor a nut job.  She’s accused him of assault, but has plenty of her own baggage.  You’d be hard pressed to find a photograph where she looks normal.  She has other, shall we say, eccentricities.  Trump owes money because he couldn’t resist telling the world that she’s a crazy person.  Who, by the way, doesn’t remember when the offense happened.  

It’s hard to picture, especially when he goes everywhere with an entourage.  Her story requires a good bit of imagination, and then doesn’t sound plausible.  But the judge believes her.  It sounds a lot like the Brett Kavanaugh story, in that nobody remembers anything.  It’s the accusation that counts.

Meanwhile we’re supposed to be excited about the next presidential election.  Poor old Joe.  He can’t make a public appearance without embarrassing himself.  Can you stand to watch?  It’s difficult.

The Australian Airline flight attendants are wearing “Free Palestine” buttons.  Don’t they watch the news?  Or maybe they’re not watching i24.  Surely they wouldn’t ally themselves with the crazy monsters who committed the massacre?  Oh, but the Arabs have complaints!  It’s OK to feel sorry for them, but they didn’t receive the upbringing you did.  They don’t have the same thought processes or empathy that westerners do.  Maybe that’s something we should figure out.  People from elsewhere don’t have the same reactions we do.

Truckers are on their way to Texas.  It will no doubt spawn lawsuits galore.  In Canada the courts ruled that the actions they took against truckers were unconstitutional.  And that’s with Canada’s constitution!  We’ll have to see what happens when the truckers arrive at the border in Texas.  Right now it looks like Joe Biden, or his handlers, have decided that the border is the place for a showdown.  Why wouldn’t Americans want millions of these non-English speaking “refugees” squatting everywhere?  It’s being cast as empathy for whoever is crossing illegally.  Since the buses started rolling, it seems everybody’s in the same boat.  Nobody wants unemployed, destitute people who don’t speak the language and are surviving on our dime sleeping on the streets.  In a lot of cases, they’re putting them up in big city hotels.  You think those rooms will ever be the same?

But poor ole Joe doesn’t know anything is wrong.  Why, he’s been the best president in ages!

That’s got to be what they’re telling him.  He’s doing a great job.  No one will ever forget.  It seems like the second coming of Jimmy Carter, only worse.

OTTAWA, Ontario – Canadian truckers who received notices by police to leave or potentially be arrested said law enforcement was “over-stepping” with another “scare tactic,” and vowed to stay.

“Those who are willing to give their life for this cause, need much more than being threatened with arrest, with fines, with losing insurance,” trucker Csaba Vizi told Fox News Digital.

Canadian truckers have been protesting in Ottawa since late January calling for an end to COVID-19 mandates. On Monday, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau invoked the Emergencies Act for the first time in Canadian history. By Wednesday, police began handing out notices warning demonstrators to leave or potentially face arrest for “committing a criminal offense” by “blocking the streets.”

“It’s not a piece of paper that’s going to make me leave,” one trucker told Fox News Digital. “I’m here to stay.”

“I think it’s cute,” Wendell Thorndyke told Fox News Digital. “They turned the police into meter maids,” he continued.

Many felt police were wrongly using a “scare tactic” in an effort to get the Freedom Convoy to leave Ottawa.

It’s just a power play on them trying to scare us,” Mike Anderson said.

“The Charter of Rights and Freedoms says we can peacefully protest” and that document is “basically saying that it’s wrong,” he continued.

“This is another way of them over-stepping what they are actually allowed to do,” the trucker told Fox News Digital.

Trucker Clarence Penner felt similarly. “Everything we’re doing is 100% peaceful and within our Charter rights,” he said. “If anyone is going to be breaking the law, it’s them.”

All truckers who spoke to Fox News Digital said they would not leave and expected most others feel the same way.

Penner, for instance, said while the warning may “ruffle some feathers for some,” most will not to be scared since they anticipate police “would try every last card in their backpack.”

Vizi agreed that some might be intimidated, but said he was committed to staying.

“Somebody can go take my house, I don’t care at this point” Vizi said. “Probably, my bank account is froze.”

“I’m broke financially anyway so take it, who cares?” Vizi continued.

Canadian trucker Steve Ness told Fox News Digital: “I have a son, I don’t want him seeing dad in handcuffs. But I’m not too scared, I’m not doing anything wrong, it’s still peaceful.”

Also saying he’d be staying indefinitely was trucker, Mike Fabinski. “I’m not moving, I’m staying all the way,” he said. “This is the price you pay for freedom, you got to do what you believe.”

Like Fabinski, Canadian trucker Matt Mackenzie remained committed to the protest: “As long as it takes, if we were afraid of pieces of paper, we had no business coming in the first place.”

Another laughed when asked if he’d be leaving soon. “Oh, I live here now, I’m going to change my address,” Thorndyke told Fox News Digital.
