The news says Trump is sleeping through high level meetings.  Maybe he’s just resting his eyes.  Maybe he’s thinking of Melania.  Who knows?  They’ve got a load of photos with his eyes closed, but who hasn’t blinked?  We’ve all been guilty.  They’re all posting the same photo.  I don’t know if he’s just resting his eyes or what, but he’s got the weight of the world on his shoulders. I watched the video they’re all writing about, and it isn’t bad.

We’re at war with Iran, but we’re sleeping just fine.  I bet they’re not in Tehran.  It seems every time the Iranians balk, Trump stands at the ready.  He’d be fine with unleashing hell, but he doesn’t want to do it unnecessarily.  

Meanwhile, we’re supposed to be all upset at the way things are going at home.  Racism apparently is rampant, and we’re all guilty.  How are you going to respond when somebody calls you a racist?  Whatever.  That’s way down on my list of things to worry about.  But they never stop trying to stoke it.  Imagine a world where the media isn’t stoking racism.  If you can’t, we’ll understand.

They’re all shook up about 60 Minutes and Scott Pelley.  Apparently he’s had a bellyful and wants to be fired.  They’re giving him a big sendoff, and saying he hung the moon.  I haven’t watched in ages, so won’t miss him.  At all.  Imagine, we’re over here worrying about whether Scott Pelley is being treated fairly, and at the same time dealing with Iran.  It kind of puts things in perspective.

It looks like Netanyahu may be on his way out.  But who knows with Israel’s politics.  Dad wanted to interview him, so he’s been there a long time.  I think he may be ready to call it quits.  Apparently the Zionist party is voting the other way.  Never try to understand Israeli politics.  The media has done its best, but there’s an election coming, and hopes for him are dying.  They couldn’t do it with the scandals they cooked up.  They’ve got Arab parties, and that’s all you’ve got to know.

Word is Taiwan is making buddies with Israel to figure out how to defend against China.  Sounds like a reasonable comparison, if you disregard the ocean.  Taiwan is in a tight spot, and we will be too if our companies don’t start producing new age stuff in the U. S.  But I don’t see us cutting Taiwan loose just yet.  They still make too many things we buy.  

Liberals can’t stand Trump.  I know he’s vulgar sometimes, but he’s a man after all.  The liberal media is always on the attack, looking for something that will sway us.  A little bad language isn’t going to do it.

Why did the war in Ukraine start in 2021?

As in 2008 and 2012, but unlike 2017 to 2021, Vladimir Putin sensed an American president would not or could not deter him, so he invaded a former Soviet republic. Under past presidents, Putin saw no downside to grabbing Ossetia, the Donbas, and Crimea.

Putin was also led to believe the West or Joe Biden would not challenge him following the recent humiliating U.S. withdrawal from Kabul. Biden’s unfortunate remark that a “minor” Russian invasion might not invoke a U.S. response did not help.

Based on past experience, Putin saw no real obstacle to a quick victory.

The bombing is the first such attack by Israel on Qatar, which has hosted multiple rounds of ceasefire talks, and it has been internationally condemned, leaving US diplomacy in the Middle East on a knife-edge.

Russia and China are linking up, with a some help from little rocket man.  China held its military parade this week, and they’re claiming to have a laser weapon.  If this is not mere bravado it’ll be a cause for concern.  We live in a time like no other, where technology and politics collide.  

I guess you saw the blowing up of the drug boat.  If you didn’t, check it out.  The danger is we can’t go to war with everybody.  Or maybe we can.  We’ve sent military ships off Venezuela’s coast, we’ll see what happens.

The media is very concerned about the make-up on Trump’s hand.  Imagine how many hands he has to shake.  That gets a little old, when you have to think before you reach.  Years ago I had a similar situation, and it felt like my funny bone was involved.  That’s not Trump’s problem, but some people may just get carried away shaking the President’s hand.  He’s obviously using make up.  I just withheld my hand.

The Catholics are all about some kid they call “God’s influencer,” a blasphemous term if there ever was one.  This kid checked all the boxes, and the Catholics deified him.  They think if they get enough people on board that men on earth can give somebody a boost on their way to heaven.  Wait until they find out that doesn’t work.  Especially a bunch of guys who think they’re holy, making God’s decisions.   How arrogant do you have to be?  They have a new pope, same as the old pope.  They think they get to decide a person’s plight in the afterlife, and they’ve got some kid they are about to send to heaven.  

ICE is showing up at places that have a lot of illegal immigrants, and it’s hurting some businesses.  But Trump’s promise was to get them out.  I guess Americans don’t want those jobs, especially when there are others willing to work for less.  But this is going to be another place all together when Trump gets through. The mainstream is trying to tell us that Trump is violating people’s rights, but they’re violating our laws by being here illegally.

We’re still waiting for round 2 of the talks designed to call off the war in Ukraine.  Meanwhile the Russians are making strides into Ukraine, unleashing some of their largest attacks ever.  Who knows if this is preparatory to the talks, or if they even intend to play ball. Maybe you’ve guessed, I don’t have much respect for Zelensky, but we already know who Putin is.  We hope it gets solved without sparking WWIII, but there’s only so much you can do.  People elsewhere don’t think like we do.  

But we are being blessed now, and thank God.  I hope WWIII is a long way off.

Nobody walked out. That’s the best news. So now we’re in for round two in a couple of weeks? Maybe that’s just enough time for the players to consider what the consequences of intransigence might be. Trump is playing deal-maker, peace-maker and trying to convince the parties to cooperate on some shared goals. You’ve seen the media’s coverage of the Alaska meeting.  

Zelensky is starting to show signs of sanity, and let’s hope it lasts. Nobody wants to be on our President’s bad side, because there’s no telling what he might do if genuinely peeved. He’s the wild card, and he’s demanding peace. 

I watched a long-running press conference in which Trump had all his deputies and each got to speak about the crime in DC. Hegseth, Patel, Gabbard, Judge Jeanine and others. It was like a love fest with a record media crowd, and Trump as usual, speaking off the cuff.

Maybe you’ve already realized it, but we’re going to have to live through all this dirty laundry again. Not that we didn’t have it figured out, now we’ll have o see it adjudicated. The principals aren’t sleeping well, guaranteed. We knew these so-and-so’s were dirty and filed it away a long time ago. Some of these perpetrators may line up to turn state’s evidence, but you know they are communicating behind the scenes, trying to get their stories straight. It’s not going to be pretty. All the goofballs we knew were not telling the truth at the time.  They didn’t destroy everything, despite trying. Now they’re in trouble, and who knows how much?

There’s a running debate in the comments section, some claiming nothing will happen. Maybe there’s a little patience in order. Law cases take time, and not until all the T’s are crossed and the I’s dotted will they be brought. But I have a suspicion nobody’s off the hook. All the prevaricators we watched at the time, knowing they were fudging the truth at the very least. They messed with the wrong dude and we don’t even know what he’s thinking.

Things are happening fast. The Israelis have a green light, and they’re not messing around. There are still hostages, and apparently one digging  his own grave has made the rounds, and the Israelis are not amused. There’s a harsh truth about Israel. With a lack of enemies they argue amongst themselves. 

Alex Jones thinks Trump’s swollen ankles are going to precede a collapse. I hope he’s wrong. Dr. Ronnie Jackson says Trump is the healthiest President we’ve ever had. Time will tell.

We’re being run around about AI. Some of these companies are throwing billions at it, and we don’t know who’s going to survive to tell about it. If you think back, we’ve been through a lot of this, maybe not on this scale, but tread carefully. A whole bunch of “sure things” have been down the pike, and it’s a whole new world. We can thank God for everything we have, and with any luck, He’s not through.

Donald Trump is preparing to offer Vladimir Putin access to rare earth minerals to incentivise him to end the war in Ukraine.

The US president will arrive at the much-anticipated meeting with his Russian counterpart on Friday armed with a number of money-making opportunities for Putin.

They will include opening up Alaska’s natural resources to Moscow and lifting some of the American sanctions on Russia’s aviation industry, The Telegraph can reveal.

Proposals include giving Putin access to the rare earth minerals in the Ukrainian territories currently occupied by Russia.

A “massive” $550 billion trade deal has been reached with Japan, President Donald Trump said on Tuesday, adding that it will create hundreds of thousands of jobs.

“We just completed a massive Deal with Japan, perhaps the largest Deal ever made,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “Japan will invest, at my direction, $550 Billion Dollars into the United States, which will receive 90% of the Profits. This Deal will create Hundreds of Thousands of Jobs — There has never been anything like it.”

Trump said Japan will open its country to trade in things like cars, trucks, rice and other agricultural products, as well as pay reciprocal tariffs of 15% to the U.S., under the deal.
