X said it would appeal the orders, which come amid a long-running free speech row between the government of Narendra Modi and the San Francisco, Calif.-based tech company, and would only apply the ban within India.

“We will withhold these accounts and posts in India alone; however, we disagree with these actions and maintain that freedom of expression should extend to these posts,” the company’s Global Government Affairs unit said in a post.

Seattle Public Schools filed the lawsuit Friday in U.S. District Court. The 91-page complaint says the social media companies have created a public nuisance by targeting their products to children.

Greetings from Tyler,

Here we are, days after the most promoted holiday of the year, and stranded airline passengers are still trying to get home. Not that they ever got to their intended destination in the first place.

Canceled flights number into the thousands. People are throwing fits from coast to coast. Yes we know about the weather, but this is ridiculous. What’s wrong with Southwest Airlines?

Notice that no one seems to be freaking out about global warming right now? What about global cooling (not that there is such a thing)? People are FREEZING to death, and places that are generally warm suffered an arctic blast. Temperatures are so cold in the northern states, you’d be dead in minutes if unprotected. It looks as though the global warming crowd has gone snow skiing, or maybe somewhere in the Caribbean Islands. That’s where the pretender went.

We still probably don’t know the extent of suffering and deaths caused by the cold snap. Maybe these international institutions need to figure out what’s going on to stop people freezing to death. How do batteries hold up under such conditions? Asking questions like that will get you banned.

If you look at the claims just outside the mainstream, it appears that government agencies were heavily involved in defending the conventional wisdom. Whatever it was that day. Anybody who dared dispute the arrogant fear-mongering, was banned. Even highly educated well respected people, in some cases doctors were cut out of the debate. There was to be no debate, or “misinformation.” Anything that varied from the official line, put out by the little doctor or some European institutions, had to be banned. The whole thing is at odds with the American ideal. Whatever happened to the First Amendment? We understand that you can’t yell “fire!” in a theater, but since when were you forced to espouse some opinion or other because of “policy.” We’ve not heard the end of it. Chances are we never will.

As the secret arrangements continue to be aired in public (thanks for that, Mr. Musk) a picture is taking shape. But there are other players (Facebook, Instagram) in the social media realm, and they were doing the same thing. Fact-checkers came into vogue, and wouldn’t you know it? They’ve made the very term suspect. Curious that they always sided with the preachers of fear, as if there was no other opinion.

There is little doubt the lawsuits will be with us years into the future. Many businesses ceased to exist through no fault of their own. They might not have gone out of business, but the mandates made sure that happened, unintentionally we’re sure. The “mandates” assumed authority that was certainly open to question. But here came the cops. Defiance of state authority became very expensive. We haven’t even begun to hear about the fallout.

My Dad always said that the Beast power would emerge as the result of a worldwide economic crisis. You might have noticed, global stocks lost $18 trillion in value recently. Bloomberg has a chart that dates all the way back to 2001, and the plunge in current values is deeper than anything we experienced in 2008 or 2012. Money has been so easy to come by, inflation is raging and interest rates are rising steadily in response.

You have to brace yourself before any news exposure. It’s not easy watching the blessings of God being squandered by those who think they’re smarter than the Creator. The Supreme Court apparently decided that Title 42 could continue a bit longer, and maybe that will help. But the scenes at the border will make you lose sleep. This isn’t the first time we had leadership that blamed America for all the world’s ills. We pray this one meets justice.

Greetings from Tyler,

Have you seen the flooding in Saudi Arabia? According to reports the king called upon the population to pray to allah to end the dry spell. It ended with cars washing down streets in freak flash flooding. It’s being called a flood of biblical proportions. You’ll have to come up with your own explanation. I wouldn’t dare.

What’s going on in Brazil? The tens of thousands in the streets think something was amiss with the election. As we all know it’s not acceptable to question an election, no matter what. Obviously a sizable percentage of the population believe in conspiracy theories. As we all know, that’ll get you canceled or banned.

Speaking of elections, the midterms still haven’t played out, and some big questions hang in the balance. Some states have not certified the results, and it looks like the courts will ultimately decide. We better hope that the population continues to have faith in elections, otherwise things could get ugly.

Elon Musk is issuing a blanket amnesty for Twitter accounts. Some on the left are so outraged that free speech will be allowed, they’re quitting as soon as they’ve made a stink. We’ve languished long enough over the synchronized explanations. The networks obviously can’t be trusted to tell the truth about anything. It’s all about outcomes.

We hear news about the war in Ukraine, but where’s that news coming from? Zelinski apparently wanted the West to jump to conclusions after two missiles landed in Poland. How many hundreds of billions of dollars have been sent to Ukraine so far? Is there some accounting for that money? We keep hearing reports that indicate Ukrainian forces have the Russians on the run, but who knows? It seems the media doesn’t mind yanking our chain whenever they can. Let’s just not blow up the world over this. It looks as if Zelinski wouldn’t mind if the whole world went to war, and maybe that’s in the best interests of the pretender too. It’s not going to be pretty when these under-the-table deals go public.

You saw what happened. Not two days after it was clear that Republicans would control the house and investigations into the international dealings of the first family were announced, what do you know? A new special council has been appointed to get Trump once and for all. Have you ever known a special council to get anything done inside of two years? That means the propaganda machine will be heating up just in time for the next presidential election.

Meanwhile, the land is full of bloody crimes. You can’t even stay abreast of all the mass shootings, stabbings and run-overs. There’s not time in a newscast to tell you the details of all the mayhem. Hopefully you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We all have tremendous blessings to be thankful for. It’s no wonder the third world is trying to stream into the U. S. before anything changes. Those who’ve said publicly that the border is secure seem to be insecure in their top tier jobs. We know how secure the border is, and we might even know why it is this way.

If our citizens can’t see that all God’s blessings are in jeopardy, the future is in question. All on account of some theory that can’t be defended. That’s why they’ve stopped trying to defend it. You don’t suppose they’ve been given over to a depraved mind? A reading of the first chapter of Romans makes you wonder about our leaders, the media and society in general. George Orwell is credited with saying that some ideas are so stupid, only intellectuals would believe them. We’re told to trust the intellectuals. Thanks anyway.

This figure is the total combined value of Big Tech that has been wiped off this week amid stock market losses as tech companies reported poor earnings, according to a briefing by TradingView, a social network of traders and investors.

The stock market losses come after Amazon reported slow revenue growth on Thursday for its fourth quarter of the year. The e-commerce giant missed analysts’ estimates as it estimated that revenue in the period would likely be as much as $15 billion below the $155 billion forecasted, the Financial Times reported.
