Americans are at a critical point of choosing between communism and the freedoms of a representative federal democracy that has made us the most prosperous, generous, strongest, freest, and, yes, fairest nation on Earth.

For years, we’ve been on a slow steady path toward the same communist society as China, Russia, North Korea, Cuba, and other repressive regimes have. Many in academia, media, and politics have worked to indoctrinate our young people and others with the idea that socialism is compassionate and makes everyone’s outcome in life equal through legislation.

As Lenin once stated, “The goal of socialism is communism.” Socialism inevitably leads to communism. People are continually stripped of their rights until all that remains is a tyrannical, totalitarian regime with total control over the people.

Socialism uses “political correctness” to attack basic moral discernment and force everyone to be the same. This has come along with the normalization and legalization of all manner of anti-theist and profane speech, sexual perversions, demonic art, pornography, and drug use.

This flies in the face of anyone who believes in God and aspires to a higher moral plane. This is done with the goal to marginalize and eventually get rid of anyone who disagrees with them.

Our younger generations have been the ones to view socialism most favorably and participating in protests and riots aimed at destroying our cultural heritage. Meanwhile, many in our society have come to support the idea that the government should provide health care, education, guaranteed income, and perhaps eventually the entire cost of living.

Perhaps knowingly or unknowingly, we’re gradually trading our traditions and freedoms for a system that controls people. Socialism and communism claim ownership over all property and people. Big tech, media, Hollywood, billionaires, and politicians should all take note.

This has all come to a head with the results of the 2020 presidential election with the credible allegations of election fraud. The nation that stands to gain the most from the results of the election is China. Also Iran, North Korea, Cuba, and Venezuela. Communist China has ruthlessly ruled for over 70 years, resulting in the unnatural deaths of at least 65 million people.

America is in a battle between good and evil. Communism teaches people to replace belief in God with atheism and materialism and as a result, good and evil have been inverted. Righteousness is cast as wickedness and vice as compassion.

I didn’t vote for President Trump because I liked him. I voted for him because he was and is the only person I can think of that would stand in the way of a movement designed to tear down and destroy our nation. One that is the greatest on Earth, and one that so many people sacrificed for and died for over the years to make it that way, and one that I love and hold very dear. May God bless Donald Trump and the United States of America.

Greetings from Tyler,

The new monthly letter is being printed and will be mailed the first of next week. Our HQ building is cleaned up and cleaned out of leaven, and we expect there will be a good turnout for the Passover (Lord’s Supper) service to be held this evening at sundown. I will tell you that several hundred people have gone to the 21st Century WATCH website in response to a post offering explanation about the origins of Easter.

There is much to be said and understood about what’s happening in the United States and all around the world. Hopes for prosperity and survival have been dashed in so many ways, it’s hard to keep up and not much fun in any event. It appears as though those who purportedly “won” the election are going to use every conceivable path to try to outlaw the rights we considered inviolable.

But this is no time to be in a terrible attitude. We’ve got more important things to contemplate as another (forgettable) year has passed, and it’s time for the Passover and the Spring Holy Day season to commence. God has a glorious future in store for those who overcome the sins of this world, and this is a good time to reflect on those promises. We hope you all have a fulfilling Passover, and First Day of Unleavened Bread. And we’re looking forward to having visitors from near and far for the activities scheduled around the Last Day of Unleavened Bread next weekend.

There will be plenty of time to rail against the insanity playing out against everything we stand for next time. May God bless all His people who keep His commandments and respect His Word.

Mark

Greetings from Tyler,

It’s impeachment week, the first one in American history for a President who is out of office. Many are not watching on account of their emotional health. As of today, maybe the impeachment managers are having second thoughts about the wisdom of having entered into this spectacle. Not to upset you, but the defense lawyers made a rather comprehensive montage of those who seek conviction, publicly making statements way beyond anything uttered by #45 on January 6th. He dared use the word “fight,” and so have his accusers, hundreds if not thousands of times.

They called for uprisings. They said the looting and burning would not stop, and “should not stop.” You can look it up if you want to see all the times those seeking conviction have made statements far exceeding what they claim as evidence. It would be worth a hefty sum to be able to see the faces of those, many of whom were having to sit in the proceedings and watch themselves call for “fighting” and “uprisings.” The impostor himself invoked his desire to take Trump out back, “and beat the hell out of him.” Here’s betting there were some red, maybe purple faces in the Senate for having made what you might call “indiscreet utterances.” Apparently the vote is today, or tonight.

The purge is ongoing. If someone suspects everything might not have been on the up and up last November 3, and in the days following, they’re being described as domestic terrorists. Maybe they’ve forgotten how they bellowed about the election of Trump being illegitimate. They used every artifice to disavow and delegitimize him even before he took office. Then they worked tirelessly to turn the public against him. They shamelessly edited his words in order to call him a racist, which they’ve done relentlessly. Lately, they’re trying to shame and ruin all who supported him or were employed by him. Who are they?

Time magazine (is it still in print?) published an article proudly outlining how big tech, the media and large corporations worked together to bring about his defeat through the Coronavirus scare and mail-in voting, changing election laws without the benefit of State legislatures. It was a full-court-press, and they are very proud of themselves for having achieved the desired result. But, according to the mainstream media and every social media platform (save the few, struggling to survive the onslaught) you better not tell a soul if you suspect something was amiss. They’ll come after anybody who dares suggest such a thing with repercussions. Not only will unapproved statements be blocked and removed, but people are being banned, sometimes permanently.

It’s just a guess, but it’s highly likely we’ll be hearing about shenanigans in swing counties whether the titans of tech like it or not. No court has heard any evidence. Everybody in position to respond to any such discussion just blows a gasket and starts slinging accusations. But some court cases are ongoing, though no judges of any persuasion have been subjected to any evidence. The buffoons trying to throttle any suggestion of malfeasance have apparently forgotten everything they promoted for four years. Now it’s a crime if you have any reservations!

The “great reset,” as imagined by organizations with global clout, is now being touted by corporations we know. Financial corporations. They’re going to enforce zero-carbon policies on their clients. That means nobody gets a loan unless they’ve jumped through every green hoop, and agree that the great worldwide religion of global warming is just as scary as they say it is.

But enough with the depressing nonsense. It’s the Sabbath, and we’re going to enjoy it. Apparently these bosses are going to outlaw the Bible if they can. They’ve already made much in God’s Word illegal to practice in society. If you intend to live by the Word of God, you better keep it to yourself. Unfortunately, that’s a luxury we don’t have.

Pages could be filled with every means imaginable being employed to weaken or destroy everything the United States ever stood for, including its citizens. But you can read all about it, in glowing terms, on every mainstream outlet. Some of us would rather not! Have a great Sabbath.

Mark

PS: As you may know, our segment of the country is in a period of bitter cold. Local radio reports carry news of a 100 car pile-up in Ft. Worth. Tyler police are advising against driving at all as temps hover at or below freezing with a constant drizzle. Consequently our services for tomorrow have been canceled. Please contact anyone you know who planned to watch it online.

Greetings from Tyler,

The purge is underway. If you want to continue using social media, you better not question the legitimacy of the presidential election. You’d be wise not to question any of the official declarations about COVID infections or deaths. Apparently it’s better to be on board with the “conventional wisdom” of the mainstream, so as to not stand out.

Free speech? Yeah, you can forget it if it’s aimed at the election or COVID-19. You better pipe down about illegal immigration too. All the news tells us that border crossings in areas the wall didn’t get built are up, and caravans are on the way, again. Never mind that travel is banned or highly regulated from friendly nations. It just wouldn’t do to interfere with the immigration plans of people from all over the world, including terrorist havens. They may not be following all the COVID mandates or wearing masks, but as soon as they get here they’re eligible for lots of assistance, courtesy of U.S. taxpayers. Or more accurately, courtesy of the debt they’re loading onto the little kids at school.

But the little kids aren’t in school over large swaths of the United States. The teachers union has declared it too “dangerous” for teachers to be anywhere near a classroom. How long this will go on, nobody knows. They seem to make it up as time moves on. The redhead on your screen, who speaks in valley-girl vernacular, has just let everyone know that having already recovered from the virus, or having had a vaccination is no sign that anybody can go anywhere without wearing the sign of capitulation. And don’t forget social distancing! Some of us were practicing it before it had a name, but now we’re “saving lives.”

Amazing how easy it’s become to save lives! There are signs on interstate highways that say, “Wash your hands, save lives.” Imagine all who catch a glimpse of themselves while dutifully washing their hands several times a day, reassuring themselves in the mirror that they’re busy “saving lives.” Maybe they’ll figure some way to monitor everyone to make sure they’re washing their hands multiple times a day, and therefore “saving lives.”

You’ve no doubt come across it. Stories are (for the moment) coursing across the internet that the good doctor had something to do with experiments at the Wuhan lab, and that it was being done at the expense of taxpayers. Like everything we hear these days, we’re reluctant to believe that or anything else that comes without incontrovertible proof. That line of communication will probably be squelched soon, if it hasn’t been already. If you should think there is already adequate proof, you’re probably an insurrectionist and they’ve got plans for you.

The Bible tells us that another global mandate is coming, sooner or later. Complying with that one will remove any hope of salvation. So what are we going to do? Agree that global warming is an existential crisis, of man’s making? Mandates are coming down the pike like a landslide. Where do we draw the line? Do you think for one minute that fear, and the emphasis on “doing your part” won’t be part of the routine?

And by the way. You better not have supported president number 45. If you did, you better recant. Otherwise you might be branded as a domestic terrorist. After all, they claim that he instigated violence at the Capitol. Never mind that barricades were being breached, windows broken and struggles with police broke out BEFORE the offending words were uttered. What? You can’t find the offending words in that speech? That’s because they were (the mainstream has already declared) code for insurrection! A dog whistle (that’s become a staple of the mainstream) that no one understood but the rioters. They apparently understood their marching orders even before the coded language was delivered.

Everyone must agree that the election was fair and square, and that COVID-19 has infected or killed whatever the news is saying. You must agree that the former President incited violence at the capitol building, Not only you, but every member of Congress. There are movements to get everyone there to agree that Trump caused the trouble. Don’t read anything about the Antifa leaders who were actually doing the incitement. Believing that could get you in a lot of trouble.

Wouldn’t you know it? Several members of the legislative branch that we thought were stalwarts have come around. Yeah. Trump caused it. If you don’t agree and state that publicly, you just might be banished, expelled and ruined for life. Unbelievably, some of the last men standing are giving in to the mainstream demands, if only to keep their lives intact.

Compliance is the word of the day. You better go with the mainstream narrative on all subjects. You better bow down before all mandates. It’s for your own good, after all. The consequences for non-compliance are just too uncomfortable to bear. It doesn’t take much extrapolation to see where this is leading. We’ve been warned.

Greetings from Tyler,

Since everybody’s been locked down and masked in public, how come they’re still reporting records? Every news break is COVID ad nauseum. There have been records right along for months. Some of the “surges” are coming out of the most stringent of locations, places where hair salons get raided by health officials. Consider yourself spared from further elaboration.

It’s hard to imagine, that while it has been pointed out, it is apparently of no importance. It says right on the side of the surgical mask box that the enclosed is not effective against viruses. Maybe that’s why large numbers of Americans, soon to be targeted in a myriad of ways, are skeptical as to whether the mandates are a trial exercise of unlawful power. But the authoritarian fear exercise has certainly been effective. Who do you think you are, if you dare to question what the establishment-backed media has declared? That’s not allowed!

To hear the media tell it Trump has acknowledged that he lost the election, and was responsible for the fracas at the Capitol. Notice, no quotes are included, just emphatic declarations that best not be trifled with, lest one be declared guilty of all manner of malignant intentions. One of the most “brilliant” to be found near the bottom of the swamp, went on TV and declared that when the President says “peaceful and patriotic,” it’s a “dog-whistle” to commence violence. Yeah, that’s it.

The media is demanding that all support for Trump cease at once, lest all “dangerous offenders” be hunted down and canceled from doing business or communicating. You’ll believe and parrot what they’re selling, or they’re going to silence you forcibly. Apparently the moguls of social media, and the owners of “clouds” and servers have had enough. No longer will one question or opine that there may have been any, shall we say, irregularities. To do so would mean getting on somebody’s “list.” Anyone who did business with anything to do with the falsely accused is getting one last chance to recant. Otherwise, it won’t be pretty.

We’re about to have our first “virtual inauguration.” Probably deep concern over COVID demands it, and besides… How long do you give the “big guy” in office? Stand by for some obscene cackling at 1600. But then there is this undercurrent that supposes law enforcement actions are taking place, and have been taking place. Many have this expectation that President Trump surely would not leave the tens of millions who supported him, and the country we once knew, hung out as easy targets for the misfits. But that’s how it looks, one week before the virtual inauguration.

Why on earth is it necessary to add another insult to mortal defeat by questionable means? Rush says they’re scared to death of him. Why not? Have there not been obvious, on the record infractions for all to see? All but the mainstream, that is. Every bombshell that blew was just another chapter in some wild-eyed conspiracy theory as far as they were concerned. They snorted and smirked that everything that destroyed their narrative was somehow Russian disinformation, and they were wise to it. Surely their audience understood completely.

The canceling is underway. It seems that some of these outfits don’t care about their bottom line, even those with shareholders. No one knows what’s true anymore. Trying to find out can get you in a lot of trouble. They’re getting with the program, carrying out a purge. They’ll decide what people hear, what they believe, and dissent will be something our kids learn about… on second thought, strike that. The idea that there ever was dissent will be banished from memory. Maybe they’ll get the word removed from the dictionary. It’s not such a stretch anymore.

Our parents could never have imagined the world in which we live. If it weren’t playing out in living color, we wouldn’t believe it either. Maybe the mandates and the enforced mask-wearing aren’t the scourge described in the book of Revelation. But we’ve entered a version of, “No man may buy or sell…” and it’s being applied to masks and vaccines. If you refuse to SUBMIT, you can’t come in. You can’t shop here. You’re banned from sharing your thoughts or experiences. Maybe it’s OK to just do what you’re told, you know, because we’ve got necessities. Then again, maybe it’s a bad habit to acquire as the world moves toward total subjugation of unapproved thought. There’s only one solution now and it’s nowhere to be found, on earth.

The article states Trump’s conduct ‘followed his prior efforts to subvert and obstruct the certification of the 2020 Presidential election’

House Democrats introduced an impeachment resolution against President Trump on Monday for incitement of an “insurrection,” just days after the Capitol riot, saying he warrants impeachment, trial, and “removal from office.”

Democratic Reps. Ted Lieu, David Cicilline, Jamie Raskin, and Jerrold Nadler introduced the article of impeachment, charging the president with violating his oath of office.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., said Monday that the House “will move forward with bringing impeachment legislation to the Floor.”

“The President’s threat to America is urgent, and so too will be our action,” Pelosi said.

House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, later, said the House would meet at 9 a.m. on Wednesday to consider the article of impeachment.

HOUSE DEMOCRATS’ QUICK 25TH AMENDMENT PUSH URGING PENCE TO REMOVE TRUMP BLOCKED BY REPUBLICANS

“In his conduct while President of the United States—and in violation of his constitutional oath faithfully to execute the office of President of the United States, and to the best of his ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States, and in violation of his constitutional duty to take care that the laws be faithfully executed, Donald John Trump engaged in high Crimes and Misdemeanors by inciting violence against the Government of the United States,” the article reads.

The article alleges that before Jan. 6, the joint session of Congress to certify the presidential election results, Trump “repeatedly issued false statements asserting that the presidential election results were the product of widespread fraud and should not be accepted by the American people or certified by State or Federal officials.”

The article claims that before the Jan. 6 joint session the president addressed a crowd in Washington where he “reiterated false claims that ‘we won this election, and we won it by a landslide,’ and “willfully made statements that, in context, encouraged–and foreseeably resulted in–lawless action at the Capitol.”

The article refers to Trump’s statement: “If you don’t fight like hell you’re not going to have a country anymore.”

“Thus incited by President Trump, members of the crowd he had addressed, in an attempt to, among other objectives, interfere with the Joint Session’s solemn constitutional duty to certify the results of the 2020 presidential election, unlawfully breached and vandalized the Capitol, injured and killed law enforcement personnel, menaced Members of Congress, the Vice President, and Congressional personnel, and engaged in other violent, deadly, destructive, and seditious acts,” the article states.

The article adds that Trump’s conduct “followed his prior efforts to subvert and obstruct the certification of the 2020 Presidential election,” referring to his phone call earlier this month with Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, where he pressured him to “find” enough votes to overturn the state’s election results.

“In all this, President Trump gravely endangered the security of the United States and its institutions of government,” the article states. “He threatened the integrity of the democratic system, interfered with the peaceful transition of power, and imperiled a coequal branch of Government.”

The article adds that he “betrayed his trust as President, to the manifest injury of the people of the United States.”

“Donald John Trump thus warrants impeachment and trial, removal from office, and disqualification to hold and enjoy any office of honor, trust, or profit under the United States,” it said.

The calls for Trump’s removal come after the president spoke at a rally Wednesday, telling supporters that he would “never concede,” and repeated unsubstantiated claims that the election was “stolen” from him and that he won in a “landslide.”

BIDEN AVOIDS FIRM POSITION ON IMPEACHMENT

During his remarks, he renewed pressure on Pence, claiming that he should decertify the results of the presidential election and send it “back to the states,” claiming that if he did that, Trump would be president for another four years.

Trump’s remarks came ahead of a joint session of Congress to certify the results of the presidential election. As members of the House and Senate raised objections to certain electoral votes, both chambers called for a recess and left their chambers as pro-Trump protesters breached the Capitol building.

Washington, D.C., police said the security breach at the Capitol resulted in four deaths – including a woman who had been shot inside the building – and at least 70 arrests.

Congress later returned and certified the Electoral College vote early Thursday, formally giving Joe Biden his presidential victory.

White House deputy chief of staff Dan Scavino posted a statement from the president on Twitter early Thursday morning, saying: “Even though I totally disagree with the outcome of the election, and the facts bear me out, nevertheless there will be an orderly transition on January 20th.”

“I have always said we would continue our fight to ensure that only legal votes were counted,” Trump said. “While this represents the end of the greatest first term in presidential history, it’s only the beginning of our fight to Make America Great Again!”

Trump will be the fourth president to not attend his successor’s Inauguration Day. Former presidents John Adams, John Quincy Adams and Andrew Johnson did not attend their successors’ inaugural ceremonies.

President Trump’s announcement came just days after he spoke at a rally Wednesday, telling supporters that he would “never concede” and repeated unsubstantiated claims that the election was “stolen” from him and that he won in a “landslide.”

TRUMP SAYS HIS SUPPORTERS WILL STILL HAVE A ‘GIANT VOICE,’ AND WON’T BE ‘DISRESPECTED’

During his remarks, he renewed pressure on Vice President Mike Pence, claiming he should decertify the results of the presidential election and send it “back to the states” and that if he did, Trump would be president for another four years.

Trump’s remarks earlier this week came ahead of a joint session of Congress to certify the results of the presidential election.

As members of the House and Senate raised objections to certain electoral votes, both chambers called for a recess and left their chambers as pro-Trump protesters stormed the Capitol Building, sending it into lockdown for hours.

Washington, D.C., police said the riot at the Capitol resulted in five deaths — including a Capitol Police officer and a woman who had been shot inside the building — and at least 70 arrests.

The president, during the raid inside the Capitol, tweeted a taped video to supporters, telling them to “go home” while maintaining that he had the 2020 presidential election “stolen” from him.

In the president’s video, addressing supporters, he said: “I know your pain, I know your hurt.”

“We had an election that was stolen from us,” Trump said in the video, taped from the White House. “It was a landslide election and everyone knows it, especially the other side.”

“This was a fraudulent election, but we can’t play into the hands of these people,” Trump said. “We have to have peace.” State and local election officials say they have not found evidence of widespread voter fraud that would have changed the results of the election.

Trump added: “So go home, we love you, you’re very special, you’ve seen what happens, you’ve seen the way others are treated that are so bad, so evil. I know how you feel.”

“But go home and go home in peace,” he said.

The president, after posting the video, tweeted: “These are the things and events that happen when a sacred landslide election victory is so unceremoniously & viciously stripped away from great patriots who have been badly & unfairly treated for so long,” Trump tweeted. “Go home with love & peace.”

He added: “Remember this day forever!”

SCHUMER: USE 25TH AMENDMENT OR IMPEACHMENT TO REMOVE TRUMP FROM OFFICE

Republicans and Democrats alike slammed the president for not condemning the violence, resulting in a number of departures of high-profile administration officials — including Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao and Education Secretary Betsy DeVos, who said the president’s “rhetoric” incited the unrest.

Congress later returned Wednesday night, mere hours after the Capitol had been secured, and certified the Electoral College vote early Thursday, formally giving Joe Biden his presidential victory.

The president, on Thursday night, posted another video, after being blocked from Twitter and Facebook for violating their policies with his previous posts, condemning the “heinous attack” on the Capitol by his supporters and called for healing.

But Friday morning, the president tweeted: “The 75,000,000 great American Patriots who voted for me, AMERICA FIRST, and MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, will have a GIANT VOICE long into the future.”

Meanwhile, Democrats and some Republicans have called for Pence to invoke the 25th Amendment to remove the president from office — just days before President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration, saying that if Pence and the Cabinet fail to act, Congress should introduce articles of impeachment again.

The U.S. Congress early Thursday certified the Electoral College vote that gave Democrat Joe Biden his presidential victory — after a day in Washington that was marred by pro-Trump protesters storming the U.S. Capitol.

Vice President Mike Pence, who had announced he would not overturn the will of voters, confirmed the Biden victory at 3:41 a.m. ET.

Lawmakers had returned to the chamber in an act of defiance, with some Republicans who initially vowed to challenge states’ results due to voter fraud concerns announcing they’d instead vote to certify.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., called the breach of the Capitol a “failed insurrection,” adding that those who “tried to disrupt our democracy” had not succeeded.

“The United States and the Senate will not be intimidated,” he tweeted. “We are back at our posts. We will discharge our duty under the Constitution for our nation. And we are going to do it tonight.”

McConnell announced earlier that once the Senate voted 92-7 to reject the Republican effort to overturn Pennsylvania’s vote, the path would be clear for Biden to claim the White House on Jan. 20.

Despite growing support among Republicans to challenge the election result, the effort was always seen to have little chance of success.

Dan Scavino, the White House deputy chief of staff, posted a statement from President Trump on Twitter that seemed to call for calm among Americans and demonstrate a functioning government for adversaries.

“Even though I totally disagree with the outcome of the election, and the facts bear me out, nevertheless there will be an orderly transition on January 20th,” the statement read. “I have always said we would continue our fight to ensure that only legal votes were counted.
“When I arrived in Washington this morning, I fully intended to object to the certification of the electoral votes,” Loeffler, R-Ga., said in remarks from the Senate floor. “However, the events that have transpired today have forced me to reconsider and I cannot now, in good conscience, object.”

Sen. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., also announced she would vote to certify the results.

There seemed to be a sense of sadness among lawmakers as it got later into the night. Sen. Mike Rounds, R-S.D., told reporters it was probably one of the saddest days he had experienced as an elected official.

“What normally would have been a tradition in the step towards the peaceful transition of power from one administration to another was marred by violence, thugs, misinformation and clearly should never have happened in the first place,” he said.

Detractors of the president criticized him for stoking anger among his supporters and said a violent incident was inevitable. They say the president has been pushing the false narrative about election interference for the past month and his presidency was bound to end in chaos.

Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram temporarily suspended the president from posting on to their platforms. The Associated Press reported that it was the most aggressive action social media companies had yet taken against the president.

Trump’s supporters noted the president had called for calm. They say Trump never had his day in court and there were enough voting irregularities to warrant further inspection. They also criticized the media coverage of the unrest at the Capitol and criticized news outlets to essentially turning a blind eye to the violence that broke out in major cities last summer.

Donald Trump Jr. also called for calm in an earlier tweet.

“This is wrong and not who we are,” he wrote. “Be peaceful and use your 1st Amendment rights, but don’t start acting like the other side. We have a country to save and this doesn’t help anyone.”

Washington D.C. police said at a news conference late Wednesday that there were four deaths—including a woman who was fatally shot — and at least 52 arrests during the day’s disruption.

Mayor Muriel Bowser, a Democrat who has clashed with Trump, ordered an extension of the public emergency that was already in place for the next 15 days, which will overlap with Biden’s inauguration.

The woman who was shot was Ashi Babbitt, a U.S. Air Force veteran from San Diego, Calif., a friend told Fox News. D.C. police confirmed she had been shot by one of their officers.

The other three deaths were medical-related, reports said.

Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, told Fox News last Sunday that the Supreme Court was a “better forum” than Congress for vetting election concerns but the court did not take the cases.

Cruz wanted a 10-day audit of the results by an electoral commission.

“Voter fraud has posed a persistent challenge in our elections, although its breadth and scope are disputed,” lawmakers said Saturday in a statement.

“By any measure, the allegations of fraud and irregularities in the 2020 election exceed any in our lifetimes,” Cruz said.

The senator condemned those who stormed the Capitol in a Twitter post. He said the Constitution “protects peaceful protest, but violence — from Left or Right – is ALWAYS wrong.”

He issued a statement early Thursday that called the incident a “despicable act of terrorism and a shocking assault on our democratic system.” He said he called for the electoral commission to give millions of Americans confidence in the election and “very much wish Congress had not set aside these concerns.”

But he said he respected their positions.

“Debate in the two houses of Congress is the proper way to resolve our political differences, not through violent attacks,” he said.
