Greetings from Tyler,

It’s impeachment week, the first one in American history for a President who is out of office. Many are not watching on account of their emotional health. As of today, maybe the impeachment managers are having second thoughts about the wisdom of having entered into this spectacle. Not to upset you, but the defense lawyers made a rather comprehensive montage of those who seek conviction, publicly making statements way beyond anything uttered by #45 on January 6th. He dared use the word “fight,” and so have his accusers, hundreds if not thousands of times.

They called for uprisings. They said the looting and burning would not stop, and “should not stop.” You can look it up if you want to see all the times those seeking conviction have made statements far exceeding what they claim as evidence. It would be worth a hefty sum to be able to see the faces of those, many of whom were having to sit in the proceedings and watch themselves call for “fighting” and “uprisings.” The impostor himself invoked his desire to take Trump out back, “and beat the hell out of him.” Here’s betting there were some red, maybe purple faces in the Senate for having made what you might call “indiscreet utterances.” Apparently the vote is today, or tonight.

The purge is ongoing. If someone suspects everything might not have been on the up and up last November 3, and in the days following, they’re being described as domestic terrorists. Maybe they’ve forgotten how they bellowed about the election of Trump being illegitimate. They used every artifice to disavow and delegitimize him even before he took office. Then they worked tirelessly to turn the public against him. They shamelessly edited his words in order to call him a racist, which they’ve done relentlessly. Lately, they’re trying to shame and ruin all who supported him or were employed by him. Who are they?

Time magazine (is it still in print?) published an article proudly outlining how big tech, the media and large corporations worked together to bring about his defeat through the Coronavirus scare and mail-in voting, changing election laws without the benefit of State legislatures. It was a full-court-press, and they are very proud of themselves for having achieved the desired result. But, according to the mainstream media and every social media platform (save the few, struggling to survive the onslaught) you better not tell a soul if you suspect something was amiss. They’ll come after anybody who dares suggest such a thing with repercussions. Not only will unapproved statements be blocked and removed, but people are being banned, sometimes permanently.

It’s just a guess, but it’s highly likely we’ll be hearing about shenanigans in swing counties whether the titans of tech like it or not. No court has heard any evidence. Everybody in position to respond to any such discussion just blows a gasket and starts slinging accusations. But some court cases are ongoing, though no judges of any persuasion have been subjected to any evidence. The buffoons trying to throttle any suggestion of malfeasance have apparently forgotten everything they promoted for four years. Now it’s a crime if you have any reservations!

The “great reset,” as imagined by organizations with global clout, is now being touted by corporations we know. Financial corporations. They’re going to enforce zero-carbon policies on their clients. That means nobody gets a loan unless they’ve jumped through every green hoop, and agree that the great worldwide religion of global warming is just as scary as they say it is.

But enough with the depressing nonsense. It’s the Sabbath, and we’re going to enjoy it. Apparently these bosses are going to outlaw the Bible if they can. They’ve already made much in God’s Word illegal to practice in society. If you intend to live by the Word of God, you better keep it to yourself. Unfortunately, that’s a luxury we don’t have.

Pages could be filled with every means imaginable being employed to weaken or destroy everything the United States ever stood for, including its citizens. But you can read all about it, in glowing terms, on every mainstream outlet. Some of us would rather not! Have a great Sabbath.

Mark

PS: As you may know, our segment of the country is in a period of bitter cold. Local radio reports carry news of a 100 car pile-up in Ft. Worth. Tyler police are advising against driving at all as temps hover at or below freezing with a constant drizzle. Consequently our services for tomorrow have been canceled. Please contact anyone you know who planned to watch it online.

(Headline USA) A growing number of Republican lawmakers are joining President Donald Trump’s extraordinary effort to challenge the projected outcome of the Nov. 3 election when Congress meets next week to count the Electoral College votes.

Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, on Saturday announced a coalition of 11 senators who have been enlisted for Trump’s effort to subvert the will of American voters.

The group of senators and senators-elect includes:

Ron Johnson of Wisconsin

James Lankford of Oklahoma

Steve Daines of Montana

John Kennedy of Louisiana

Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee

Mike Braun of Indiana

Cynthia Lummis of Wyoming

Tommy Tuberville of Alabama

This follows the declaration from Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Mo., who was the first to buck Senate leadership by saying he would join with House Republicans in objecting to the state tallies during Wednesday’s joint session of Congress.

Hawley and Cruz are both among potential 2024 presidential contenders should Trump either prevail in his challenge or decide not to run again next term.

Trump’s refusal to concede amid evidence of widespread vote fraud has posed a dilemma for Republicans as they mull the possibility of a post-Trump era.

While the vote fraud has threatened to create an alarming destabilization of democracy, the alternative is equally troubling. Trump, however, has promised that his legal team is ready to present concrete evidence of the fraud if given the opportunity.

Despite the lingering questions, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell had urged his party not to back the challenge due to the political risk of having to go on record with a floor vote.

The 11 senators largely acknowledged Saturday they will not succeed in preventing Biden from being inaugurated on Jan. 20.

But their challenges, and those from House Republicans, represent the most sweeping challenge to the electoral outcome since the post-Civil War Reconstruction era.

“We do not take this action lightly,” Cruz and the other senators said in a joint statement.

The last time Congress determined the presidency was 1877 when an even-split of electors pushed Republican Rutherford B. Hayes into the presidency in what has come to be known as the “Corrupt Bargain.”

Legislators in several key battleground states where strong evidence of vote fraud was present have pledged to send rival electors on Jan. 6.

The GOP senators vowed to back the rival electors on Wednesday unless Congress appoints an electoral commission to immediately conduct an audit of the election results.

However, barring any new developments involving the evidence, Congress is unlikely to agree to their demand.

Trump, the first president to lose a reelection bid in almost 30 years, has attributed his defeat to widespread voter fraud, despite the consensus of nonpartisan election officials and even Trump’s attorney general that there was none.

Of the roughly 50 lawsuits the president and his allies have filed challenging election results, nearly all have been dismissed or dropped due to procedural issues such as lack of standing. However, none of the cases have yet been rejected on merit.

The convening of the joint session to count the Electoral College votes is usually routine. While objections have surfaced before—in 2017, several House Democrats challenged Trump’s win—few have approached this level of intensity.

On the other side of the Republican divide, Sen. Ben Sasse of Nebraska, another possible 2024 contender, has urged his colleagues to “reject this dangerous ploy,” which he said threatens the nation’s civic norms.

Caught in the middle is Vice President Mike Pence, who faces growing pressure from Trump’s allies over his ceremonial role in presiding over the session Wednesday.

Several Republicans have indicated they are under pressure from constituents back home to show they are fighting for Trump in his baseless campaign to stay in office.

Sen. John Thune, the second-ranking Republican, told reporters at the Capitol that leadership was allowing senators to “vote their conscience.”

Thune’s remarks as the GOP whip in charge of rounding up votes show that Republican leadership is not putting its muscle behind Trump’s demands, but allowing senators to choose their course. He noted the gravity of questioning the election outcome.

“This is an issue that’s incredibly consequential, incredibly rare historically, and very precedent-setting,” he said. “This is a big vote.”

Pence will be carefully watched as he presides over what is typically a routine vote count in Congress but is now heading toward a prolonged showdown that could extend into Wednesday night, depending on how many challenges are mounted.

A judge in Texas dismissed a lawsuit from Rep. Louie Gohmert, R-Texas, and a group of Arizona electors trying to force Pence to step outside mere ceremony and shape the outcome of the vote. U.S. District Judge Jeremy Kernodle, a Trump appointee, dismissed the suit late Friday.

To ward off a dramatic unraveling, McConnell convened a conference call with Republican senators Thursday specifically to address the coming joint session and logistics of tallying the vote, according to several Republicans granted anonymity to discuss the private call.

The Republican leader pointedly called on Hawley to answer questions about his challenge to Biden’s victory, according to two of the Republicans.

But there was no response because Hawley was a no-show, the Republicans said.

Hawley’s office said he sent an email afterward to his colleagues explaining his views.

In the email, Hawley said constituents back home are “angry and disillusioned” with the outcome of the election.

President Trump and his legal team on Thursday stepped up their campaign to shift the outcome of the presidential election, with the president reaching out directly to Michigan officials and Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani holding a combative press conference.

Trump has invited some of Michigan’s top Republicans to the White House in a sign he may be seeking a way around the results. President-elect Joe Biden is projected to win 306 electoral votes to Trump’s 232 and has leads of tens of thousands of votes in several key states.

The president also reached out to officials in Wayne County who had sought to block the certification of votes there. The effort by those officials brought calls of racism from Detroit’s mayor given the number of votes by Black Americans that might have been overturned. Biden is ahead in Michigan by more than 140,000 votes.

Separately, Giuliani and a team of attorneys overseeing Trump’s legal challenges to the vote count in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Georgia, and elsewhere levied various claims of fraud at a press conference Thursday that levied various claims of fraud.

Giuliani alleged that the president was a victim of a scheme by dozens of Democratic election officials from Detroit, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and other major cities that contributed to Biden getting more votes, even though Trump also improved over his 2016 performance in those traditionally Democratic areas.

“This was not an individual idea of 10 or 12 Democrat bosses. This was a plan. You would have to be a fool not to realize that,” Giuliani said at the presser from the Republican National Committee headquarters.

Giuliani and attorney Sidney Powell, a fixture on Fox News prime-time programming who represents former Trump national security adviser Michael Flynn, made clear that their goal was to overturn the results in several states Biden is leading or has been projected as the winner.

Giuliani and Powell failed to produce evidence of their claims beyond holding up sworn affidavits from citizens who alleged they witnessed suspicious behavior. Giuliani did not commit to sharing his evidence with the press so they could fully vet his claims, and one reporter noted the Trump campaign is not asking for a recount in Wisconsin counties where the Dominion Voting Systems machines were used.

Dominion Voting Systems has been a popular target among Trump and his supporters who have spread claims of election fraud.

Powell alleged that the Denver-based company that supplies voting machines across the United States used technology developed by Hugo Chavez, who died in 2013. She claimed votes were manipulated while being tabulated overseas to favor Joe Biden.

These claims have been disputed or debunked by numerous sources, including conservative media.

The company has disputed the assertions, the Department of Homeland Security’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency has said there is no evidence of foreign adversaries changing vote tallies, and The Wall Street Journal editorial board published a piece on Tuesday debunking claims that Dominion was part of widespread fraud.

The contents of the press conference, during which Giuliani, who referenced the movie “My Cousin Vinny” and battled black water-streaks running down the side of his face, appeared to astonish even many conservatives who urged Giuliani and Powell to produce hard evidence of their claims or risk casting doubt on the country’s democratic systems.

Fox News broadcast much of the press conference, while other major cable news networks did not.

“You cannot make an accusation like that without following it through by going to court and trying to prove it,” Karl Rove, a former aide to George W. Bush, said on Fox News. “If it’s left out there it will be both unfair to the president if it’s true, and unfair to the American people if it’s false.”

Kristin Fisher, a Fox News White House correspondent, said on the network that the press conference was “light on facts” and noted some of the allegations had already been dismissed in the courts.

Trump appears set on throwing into question the result of his defeat, or even making a last-ditch attempt to overturn it entirely.

The president on Tuesday night contacted a GOP member of the canvassing board in Wayne County, Mich., after she and another Republican on the board initially refused to certify election results. Wayne County, which is home to Detroit, is a Democratic stronghold.

Monica Palmer confirmed to The Washington Post that Trump called her Tuesday night after she and William Hartmann balked at approving the election results. The two eventually relented and certified the results, but on Wednesday both Palmer and Hartmann sought to rescind their certification.

Trump is poised to take things a step further in Michigan by inviting State Senate Majority Leader Mike Shirkey to the White House. The invite was seen as yet another breach of norms by Trump as observers wondered whether the president would ask Shirkey to subvert the will of the voters by appointing pro-Trump electors for Michigan.

Shirkey’s office did not respond to a request for comment.

Trump’s efforts are unlikely to change the outcome of the election, but they have led to serious concerns about damage to the nation’s democratic system.

Democrats have seized on Trump’s actions to argue his post-election efforts are doing harm to the country, and have sought to pressure GOP lawmakers to rein in the president or counter him.

“This is the path to fascism,” Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-Wash.) tweeted, referencing news of Trump’s plan to meet with Michigan lawmakers. “This is no time for silence from GOP. Stand with your country. Condemn Trump for trying to topple democracy. Now.”

Republicans, for the most part, have not criticized Trump — though there have been exceptions.

Several GOP lawmakers made public their displeasure of Trump’s firing this week of Christopher Krebs, the administration’s top cybersecurity official.

“That press conference was the most dangerous 1hr 45 minutes of television in American history. And possibly the craziest. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, you’re lucky,” Krebs tweeted Thursday afternoon.

Reinstated coronavirus restrictions by state: What you need to know
Governors throughout the country have reinstated safety precautions in recent weeks to try to combat the rapid spike in coronavirus cases weeks before large family gatherings and holiday getaway trips are slated to take place.

More than 11 million cases have been reported in the United States since the COVID-19 pandemic started, as Americans prepare to observe upcoming holidays.

The holidays draw even more concern among public officials who fear large gatherings could exacerbate the current health situation in the country.

“The situation has never been more dire,” Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer said.

Various governors have enacted extensive measures from halting in-person classes to limiting indoor and outdoor dining operations.

Fox News’ goes state-by-state to provide an in-depth look at the new coronavirus restrictions. CLICK HERE FOR MORE FROM OUR TOP STORY.

Michigan’s Wayne County certifies election results in reversal of earlier decision
Election officials in Michigan’s largest county voted to certify election results on Tuesday night, ending a short-lived deadlock that could have delayed the state from confirming a victory for President-elect Joe Biden.

The Wayne County Board of Canvassers voted 4-0 to certify results. As part of the agreement, the board, which consists of two Republicans and two Democrats, asked Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson to audit the election process and pursue reforms to prevent discrepancies in the future, according to local reports.

The reversal came just hours after a previous vote resulted in a 2-2 deadlock along party lines. Republicans who initially voted against certification cited concerns related to absentee poll books in certain Detroit-area precincts that did not match.

Had the county’s certification vote failed, state canvassers would have been tasked with certifying election results. The initial result stoked outrage among Democratic officials, including Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, as well as praise from Republicans in support of Trump’s ongoing challenge of election results.

The board met after days of unsuccessful litigation filed by Republican poll challengers and Trump allies. They claimed fraud during absentee ballot counting at a Detroit convention center, but two judges found no evidence and refused to stop the canvassing process.

Earlier Tuesday, Trump campaign attorney Jenna Ellis touted the Wayne County Board of Canvassers’ failure to certify the vote as a “huge win” for the president. Trump’s campaign has alleged election fraud and filed legal challenges over results in several states. The president’s team has yet to react to the Wayne County Board of Canvassers’ reversal. CLICK HERE FOR MORE.

Krebs served as Director of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, a branch of the Department of Homeland Security tasked with protecting the 2020 election from hackers. Trump’s tweet on Krebs’ firing appeared to reference a recent joint statement from CISA and other committees that declared the Nov. 3 election was the “most secure in American history.”

“The recent statement by Chris Krebs on the security of the 2020 Election was highly inaccurate, in that there were massive improprieties and fraud – including dead people voting, Poll Watchers not allowed into polling locations, “glitches” in the voting machines which changed votes from Trump to Biden, late voting, and many more,” Trump wrote on Twitter. “Therefore, effective immediately, Chris Krebs has been terminated as Director of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency.”

Krebs drew Trump’s ire in recent days after he repeatedly debunked claims by the president and his surrogates questioning election security and the validity of voting procedures. CISA has operated a “Rumor Control” blog, which has rejected many of the election fraud claims backed by Trump officials.

The outgoing CISA director told colleagues in recent days that he expected to be fired, according to Reuters.

The Nov. 12 statement from CISA and several election security committees noted: “there is no evidence that any voting system deleted or lost votes, changed votes, or was in any way compromised.” CLICK HERE FOR MORE.

6 November 2020

Greetings from Tyler,

Our worst fears are playing out in real-time. There are a lot of things we don’t know yet. Who do we trust? We’ve seen corruption in the media, corruption in Federal agencies, and now there is apparent corruption in the electoral system. So we’re waiting with bated breath to see what the media reports? When have they shown any honesty over recent years? They’re behind the idiocy we’ve had to endure for the past four years. The “dossier” was a fraud, and had to be proven so at a cost of tens of millions of dollars, but there is still no admission from the mainstream media. They’re still wearing their haughty faces, sneering at the very suggestion that ANYONE still loves America as founded.

There’s one thing you can take to the bank. Regardless of how the contested Presidential election finally turns out, there will be many, perhaps half of the country, who will not accept the result no matter which way it ends up.

If there’s any silver lining to this incredible mess, it is that the communist’s plans to upend the nation with a bunch of destructive Green New Deal foolishness will not succeed based on House and Senate results, should they turn out to be accurate. Worst case is we’ll be back to defense, praying that their plans to return the United States to a path of “globalism,” replete with income redistribution and environmentalist radicalism will never come to fruition.

Should fraud be proven, maybe things will take another direction. But it seems that everyone is waiting on a demonstrably corrupt media to tell us what the deal is. That’s a problem.

Sorry to beat this to a pulp, but all of this is brought to you courtesy of COVID-19. It was used as justification for the “mail-in election.” The media is going to keep panic alive a bit longer, if for no other reason than to cover their tracks. They’re reporting new records TODAY, and of course hyping their fraudulent “death count.” Maybe we’d be happier if we had some faith in their reporting. But they’ve made that impossible, awkwardly pretending to believe their own lies on national television.

We know beyond any doubt that the experts’ predictions and polls were pure fiction. Are we to believe those had no effect on the outcome? We’ve watched the mainstream liars all but tear up over “attempts to subvert our democracy,” when THEY were in fact the worst offenders. They’ve led the American public down one rabbit hole after another, trying to make us all believe things that were not true. It’s been a consistent form of brainwashing, practiced by the mainstream media organizations relentlessly. Now we’re being asked to believe it worked.

We can be thankful that we live in a beautiful and still somewhat free nation. As wrapped up in our national survival and prosperity as we may be, we at least have the unique knowledge that our greatest hope lies in being citizens of God’s Kingdom. May we all remember what true HOPE is all about. And if it be possible, for the sake of our progeny, that the United States should survive in the meantime.

Mark
