Weekly Update by Mark Armstrong – July 11, 2025

Greetings from Tyler,

Flags are flying at half staff. It is unbelievable the flooding in Texas. Having been in some of those canyons, I know the water gathers and comes fast. Some canyons have sirens. The death toll from summer camps in the area is staggering. There will be lawsuits, and the camps (some of them of long-standing) are bound to go out of business. Can you imagine being the parents of those little girls?

But then there’s some media buzz about cloud seeding. We were worrying about man’s ability to engineer the weather a long time ago, and there’s some indication that may have happened. They were talking about this twenty years ago. Maybe there’s something to it. If there is, there are going to be lawsuits that can’t be settled.

The media is doing all it can to turn us against the President. If you read the liberal press (and it’s all over the internet) those that voted MAGA are turning on the President. His most fervent supporters are abandoning him. That’s what the media wants us to believe. I’m not moved.

They’re trying to claim that Trump is losing his base. Judging from the websites I read, that may be true. People are writing long comments, concluding that Trump is hiding something, particularly to do with the Jeffery Epstien files. Pam Bondi said they were sitting on her desk, then she said we already have it all. I think it has something to do with the fact that Epstien’s clients were the most powerful men in the world. But who knows?

There’s talk of Dan Bongino resigning over the Epstein Island debacle. If he goes there’s also the possibility of Kash Patel going. Those were names that gave us confidence in this administration, and it won’t be good if they resign.

The left is beside itself over deportations. They’re hiding illegals when they’re fearful the authorities will deport them. Apparently ICE is going after churches that have advertised for illegals and are hiding them out. The Los Angeles mayor is raising money and advising them. Meanwhile the media is trying to tell us about every mishap, and they’re particularly concerned about agents violating American rights. Somebody needs to tell them that there are consequences for breaking our laws.

I don’t think the war in Ukraine can be won. We can deplete our own supplies trying to help them fight the Russians, and or North Koreans, but they’ve made a bad situation worse. Apparently targets deep inside Russia have been hit by drones. The relationship between Trump and Putin may have gotten a whole lot worse, we’ll see. But it looks like Russia is determined now to take the whole thing, and a bunch of American weapons are involved.

I’m still optimistic about the Trump administration. I hope the Bongino/Patel thing doesn’t go ballistic. I hope they don’t resign. Surely they wouldn’t without a heart-to-heart with the President.

Don’t get too comfortable. The Bible says when men say “peace and safety,” then all manner of disasters start to take hold.

Please pray for the parents of those girls in Texas. They must be going through something nobody can identify with. God help them.

Mark
