COUNTER-TERROR cops are leading the investigation into a suspected hate attack which saw masked arsonists torch four Jewish ambulances.
The charred vehicles – belonging to volunteer emergency service Hatzola – were set ablaze in the early hours in Golders Green in North London, one of Britain’s biggest Jewish communities.
Terrified residents were awakened by a series of loud explosions as flames ripped through the ambulances parked outside a synagogue.
Six fire engines and 40 firefighters rushed to the scene at around 1.45am today before alerting police, who quickly launched a probe.
