House Judiciary Committee Member John N. Kennedy (R-La.) said that the Democrats’ multi-faceted investigations into the Trump administration are “all about tearing the president down.”
Kennedy said that some Democrats are indeed acting in “good faith” but that many are not.
He and Bill Hemmer discussed probes or pending probes from committees led by Reps. Maxine Waters of California, Jerrold Nadler of New York, Richie Neal of Massachusetts and Adam Schiff of California.
“This is all part of the reason the American people don’t trust Congress,” he said. “Some people are still… angry about [the 2016 election outcome].”
Virginia Democratic Sen. Mark Warner claimed Sunday that there are “enormous amounts of evidence” incriminating Trump in regard to Russian collusion.
