A leaked report produced by analysts at Israel’s Ministry of Intelligence urges the government to annex occupied territories in the West Bank as soon as possible, in case Donald Trump loses the upcoming United States presidential elections in November. The report advises the Israeli government that it “should not expect” a widespread outbreak of violence in the streets. It also forecasts that “a wave of diplomatic protests” will gradually give its place to acceptance, as “the international system acclimates itself to annexation”.

The report was leaked to Israel Hayom, a rightwing publication, which is currently Israel’s most widely read newspaper. It discusses the so-called Netanyahu Annexation Plan, which was first unveiled by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on September 10, 2019, just days before Israel’s legislative elections. It proposes the annexation by Israel of several Israeli settlements in the Occupied Territories, which are viewed as illegal by the United Nations. The plan has been condemned by the United Nations and many Western countries, but has the approval of the White House.

Palestinian groups and several Arab countries have warned Israel that there will be serious consequences if it proceeds with the proposed annexation. But the Intelligence Ministry report, authored at the request of the Intelligence Services Minister Eli Cohen, claims that these warnings should not worry the Israeli government. A possible annexation of the Israeli settlements will cause some demonstrations throughout the Arab World, it says, but it won’t substantially “rouse the Arab street” against Arab governments. This, it claims, “will make it clear to Arab leaders that the Palestinian issue is not a threat” to their political survival.

The report goes further, suggesting that an aggressive move by Israel may bring Arab governments closer to it, once Arab leaders realize that the annexation of Palestinian lands by the Jewish state will not prompt major reactions among their citizens. Additionally, it suggests that the timing for the annexation works in Israel’s favor, as the Palestinian Authority, which controls the West Bank, has been substantially weakened by its disagreement with the White House. Additionally, it says, Hamas “lacks appetite for another round of fighting” and most Palestinians are “mostly concerned with the troubles of day-to-day-life”. Other countries are mostly preoccupied with the coronavirus pandemic, and the Arab public outside Palestine has “more pressing concerns at home”, the report opines.

In its concluding section, the report appears to dismiss the conventional thinking that the annexation of the settlements will destroy even the remotest possibility of a peace settlement between Israel and the Palestinians. It report argues that “after a period in which the international system acclimates itself to the annexation”, the Palestinians and their supporters in the region will be compelled “to return to peace talks”, and even seek “solutions and arrangements that aren’t affixed to the 1967 lines and primarily territorial aspects”. In its concluding section, the report suggests that the Israeli government would have more to gain by proceeding with the annexation as soon as possible, rather than waiting, because it is “impossible to know how the US presidential election in November will unfold”.

On Thursday, Biden claimed that the coronavirus pandemic had helped his campaign.

Greetings from Tyler,

Maybe the coronavirus will do what the Deep State couldn’t? Amid all the contradictory reporting on the new strain of sickness is a perverse excitement. They’ve already called it “Trump’s Katrina.” There is the deranged hope that this will finally produce the recession the left confidently predicted five months ago. That didn’t happen. In fact, business is booming, or it was, until the media latched on to its latest great hope to bring down President Trump, a full-blown pandemic.

It has been a bloodbath on Wall Street this week. The carnage began early, right after the public comments of Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Dr. Nancy Messoner. She, it turns out, is former Deputy Atty. General Rod Rosenstein’s sister. Rush Limbaugh noted that fact, as did some other conservative news websites. And the media is howling foul! If you read the comments related to coronavirus stories in the mainstream media they’re rooting for Rush to die of his illness, soon. They’ve accused him of saying something he never said, that the deep state “created” the coronavirus to blame Trump for it. He never said that, and the Washington Post should have known better. But the accusation has already been printed, and piggy-backed by a long list of publications. He said that the illness has been “weaponized” to attack President Trump. Is there some doubt?

As long as the media perceives and reports that the coronavirus is a threat to the economy, and therefore a threat to the Trump presidency, they will continue to generate as much public fear as possible. This is the new “Russian collusion,” the new Ukrainian phone call, the new “whistle-blower.” It’s all they’ve got for the time being. So until another made-up outrage worthy of impeachment comes along, the corona-virus will have to do.

Meanwhile, we’ve been subjected to raucous debates that broke down into utter confusion with everybody talking at once, some at high volume. It seems that all President Trump’s would-be opponents have buckled under pressure to accept socialism. None of them are concerned about the prospect of a socialist future for the United States, or at least not concerned enough to say so on live television. They’re out promising FREE everything for everybody. Free college, free health-care (even for illegal aliens) a guaranteed income and on and on. Never mind that every socialist system has produced hunger and poverty in every nation that’s adopted it. Fact is, those nations have still not recovered and probably never will.

Never mind that people who preach socialism call everyone racist and lurch toward violent confrontation with anyone who dares question their motives. We’re careful not to engage in overtly political matters. But we do, and always have supported Israel as the only free, prosperous democracy in a region where wars are the norm. It was already apparent that Senator Sanders was a wild-eyed kook who lectures us about the great programs that were implemented by the likes of Stalin, Castro, and Maduro. Mind you, he rejects their authoritarian practices but insists they did good things too. He can’t stop reminding us that Castro taught the Cubans to read and write. But he recently called Prime Minister Netanyahu a “reactionary racist.” Netanyahu’s record proves otherwise.

Israel has Muslims and Palestinians in the Knesset! They get to vote and side with various coalitions in Israel’s government. Netanyahu has shown tremendous restraint under attack from Gaza and Southern Lebanon. For this socialist hair brain to call him a “reactionary racist” is the height of ignorance. But he has a large and fervent following with a penchant for violence. Remember Steve Scalise? There are plenty of recent examples of his followers physically attacking people who think they’re nuts. And they claim they’ll burn Milwaukee if he’s (once again) cheated out of the nomination.

You may have seen the news this week about the death of Philip Haney who worked for the Dept. of Homeland Security during the Obama administration. He was bold enough to report that he had been ordered to delete all collected information regarding the terrorist connections of Muslims who were settled in the U. S. during the onslaught that occurred during the Obama years. He authored a book entitled, See Something, Say Nothing. He’s been interviewed and claimed he had the goods. He was found dead outside his car a few miles from where he lived near Sacramento, shot in the chest apparently by a shotgun also found at the scene. That must be quite a trick, but it has happened. It was immediately reported as a suicide, but there are close friends that say they don’t believe he killed himself. They also say he claimed to be in fear of his life and told friends that if anything happened to him it wouldn’t be suicide. But who knows? If recent history is any guide, we’ll probably never know for sure.

It is a little odd how people who are in possession of information damaging to certain high profile personalities keep killing themselves, or are the victims of unsolved murders. Seth Rich, Jeffrey Epstein, Phil Haney, and those are just the recent examples. They are the cases that are never solved to anyone’s satisfaction, and it’s best not to ask too many questions. We’ve got expert agencies after all.

We’re seeing the economic impact of the panic the media has created over the coronavirus in real-time. Markets have taken a historic tumble, and we don’t know if the carnage is over yet. All we know is that the coronavirus, its danger to the population and to the world’s economic health is all anyone wants to talk about.

What do you think would happen if the United States were to elevate a bonafide socialist to the Oval Office? Would the big money remain in the U. S.? Or would it find a friendlier environment? If it comes to that, we may all be scouring the map.

Mark

PS: We’re anxious for you to see the new TCW. We sent it to the printer early in the week, and hope you’ll have it soon. It covers a wide range of important issues and developments, including the media-induced panic over the new virus.

FILE – President Donald Trump listens to a question from a reporter, in the Oval Office of the White House, in Washington, February 12, 2020

WASHINGTON – Pressure appears to be building on the White House and U.S. intelligence agencies to declassify some information and brief the public on possible Russian attempts to meddle in the upcoming presidential election.

Much of the push is coming from former U.S. intelligence and security officials upset at a series of leaks that led to reports Russia was trying to bolster the campaigns of both President Donald Trump and one of his Democratic challengers, Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders.

But some of the pressure is also coming from lawmakers who want see the American public get what they describe as an untainted assessment of what Russia is and is not doing, rather than see the allegations used for domestic political gain.

Congressional officials say, so far, lawmakers have not made any official requests to the intelligence agencies for any sort of public briefing or official statement on possible Russian meddling, due to concerns about protecting intelligence sources and methods.

Still, the officials note some sort of public disclosure is in line with the recommendations of a bipartisan report issued earlier this month by the Senate Intelligence Committee, which warned against keeping voters in the dark.

“The public should be informed as soon as possible, with a clear and succinct statement of the threat, even if the information is incomplete,” the report stated. “Delaying the release of information allows inaccurate narratives to spread, which makes the task of informing the public significantly harder.”

Both the White House and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence declined to comment when asked by VOA if a plan to share some of the latest intelligence with the public was under consideration.

In India Tuesday, U.S. President Donald Trump expressed anger over the intelligence leaks, calling the reports of Russia meddling to boost his reelection campaign or the campaign of Democratic front-runner Bernie Sanders “highly exaggerated.”

“Intelligence never told me,” he told reporters. “And we have a couple of people here that would know very well.”

Other Trump administration officials have also forcefully denied the reports of Russian meddling to boost the president.

But on Friday, Sanders confirmed U.S. intelligence had, in fact, warned him about the Russian meddling. He later warned Moscow to stay out of U.S. politics.

It is those contradicting narratives that have former intelligence and security officials calling for some sort of public disclosure.

“I would certainly encourage it…no matter what it says,” former acting CIA Director John McLaughlin told VOA. “We don’t know the whole story yet.”

Other longtime intelligence officials agree.

“Indications and warnings of threats to our democratic process are not like fine wine, getting better with age,” Daniel Hoffman, a former CIA chief of station, said. “We learned from 2016, we need a coordinated assessment based on the facts rather than innuendo and poor analysis tinged with confirmation bias.”

At least one White House official has indicated an openness to sharing some of the existing intelligence with the public.

“I’d have no problem with that,” U.S. National Security Advisor Robert O’Brien told CBS’s Face the Nation on Sunday. “If there’s intelligence that we can declassify, that we can get out there — all the better — because, again, we weren’t in office in 2016 when the last election meddling took place and the administration did very little about it.”

However, some of those who were in office in 2016 accuse the Trump administration of doing even less.

“It is vital that the Trump administration declassify what we know so it can be described by our intelligence community publicly, so the voters are armed with this information,” Jeh Johnson, who served as Homeland Security secretary under former President Barack Obama, said during a forum in Detroit Monday.

“That’s what we did in the prior administration,” he added, referring to a statement he and other top officials issued in October 2016 blaming Russia for hacking and then leaking emails from the Democratic National Committee.

Some Democratic lawmakers have also seized upon the president’s handling of the latest allegations of Russian meddling.

“What does the president do in response to that information? He fires the head of the intelligence community,” Democratic Senator Chris Van Hollen said on the floor of the Senate late Tuesday, arguing for the passage of election security legislation.

“He fires them because he doesn’t want them to tell Congress what the Russians are doing,” he said.

Trump administration officials have consistently pushed back, arguing the president has made it clear that interference by Russia or anyone else will not be tolerated.

“Meddling in our elections is unacceptable,” Secretary of State Mike Pompeo told reporters Tuesday. “Should Russia or any foreign actor take steps to undermine our democratic processes, we will take action in response.”

Some former intelligence officials caution that President Trump’s long-contentious relationship with U.S. intelligence agencies, dating back to their 2017 assessment that Russia did seek to help Trump win the election, is hurting the administration’s credibility.

“One doesn’t get a warm and fuzzy feeling,” said Larry Pfeiffer, a former CIA chief of staff and former senior director of the White House Situation Room, who has been critical of Trump in the past. “The congressional intelligence committees should demand open hearings in order to assure the American people, and closed hearings in order to conduct appropriate oversight of the activities to assess that threat.”

Welcome back, Russia hysteria!

While it’s no secret that Russia meddles in foreign elections, the evidence that they backed any one candidate in 2016 has always been lacking. The aim of Russian election interference is more often to create chaos and division rather than back one particular candidate.

Despite the secretive FBI investigation which morphed into Robert Mueller’s special counsel exonerating Trump from claims of collusion, the Washington Post reported last night that Russia is up to their old tricks again.

According to them, Joseph Maguire had been considered to be nominated for the DNI post, but Trump’s opinion shifted last week after he learned from a Republican ally that the intelligence official in charge of election security (Shelby Pierson, who works for Maguire) gave a closed briefing last Thursday to the House Intelligence Committee. The Post claims that while we don’t exactly know what Pierson said in the meeting, “the president erroneously believed that she had given information exclusively to Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), the committee chairman, and it would be helpful to Democrats if released publicly, the people familiar with the matter said.”

And what did the Post claim that information was? According to their narrative: “Intelligence officials warned House lawmakers last week that Russia was interfering in the 2020 campaign to try to get President Trump re-elected, five people familiar with the matter said, in a disclosure that angered Mr. Trump, who complained that Democrats would use it against him.”

But according to CNN of all places, it’s mostly B.S.

Jake Tapper writes:

A national security official I know and trust pushes back on the way the briefing/ODNI story is being told, and others with firsthand knowledge agree with his assessment. “What’s been articulated in the news is that the intelligence community has concluded that the Russians are trying to help Trump again. But the intelligence doesn’t say that,” the official says. “The problem is Shelby” — Pierson, the elections threats executive in the intelligence community — “said they developed a preference for Trump. A more reasonable interpretation of the intelligence is not that they have a preference, it’s a step short of that.

“It’s more that they understand the president is someone they can work with, he’s a dealmaker. But not that they prefer him over Sanders or Buttigieg or anyone else. So it may have been mischaracterized by Shelby” at the House Intel briefing last week. “And by the way,” the official says, “both Democrats and Republicans were challenging this at the briefing.”

Then there’s the matter of the tense meeting between President Trump and erstwhile Acting Director of National Intelligence Admiral Maguire. “The President was upset that he had to hear about an intelligence conclusion from a Member of the House Republicans rather than from the intelligence community. So he was out of joint with Maguire on that process.”

None of this disputes that Trump desires to replace those who have Intel expertise with partisan loyalists, or dismisses the larger issues and concerns about Russia and how the president seeks help from abroad. Just that there seems to be more to this particular story. ALSO, none of this disputes that the Russians (and others) are attempting to interfere in the US election again.

Or as President Trump put it this morning:

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has a weak hand in withholding the two articles of impeachment from the Senate. (Associated Press)

ANALYSIS/OPINION:

After pushing through a quick, partisan impeachment, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi made a grievous strategic miscalculation.

The California Democrat decided not to forward the two articles of impeachment to the Senate, believing she could pressure the Senate to require witnesses as part of the trial.

Let’s set aside the absurd demands for fairness that House Democrats are making. Their partisan House process was unprecedented and earned bipartisan opposition as the White House was denied due process and leaks and secret hearings were regularly utilized. Democratic requests for fairness now are laughable.

Beyond the fairness issue, there are several problems with Mrs. Pelosi’s approach now that the House has acted.

First, the Republican-led Senate doesn’t want to take up the impeachment and would be delighted if Mrs. Pelosi pocket-vetoed her own measure indefinitely. That floor time can be used to confirm 15-20 more federal judges with lifetime appointments.

Second, the House has no leverage in the Senate as Majority Leader Mitch McConnell answers not to Mrs. Pelosi but to the 53 Republican senators who make up his conference. This is not like a conference committee where two bills must be reconciled. The Senate did not try to manipulate the House impeachment inquiry — attempting to do so would have been pointless.

Third, decisions on witnesses are not entirely up to him. He can negotiate a bipartisan agreement with Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, but ultimately the trial process and agreements on witnesses are subject to a 51-vote threshold.

Fourth, Mrs. Pelosi’s position is entirely incoherent. She apparently believes impeachment was necessary and urgent because the president is such a threat to democracy and national security, but that impeachment can wait until the Senate’s trial procedures meet her approval. She can’t have it both ways.

Fifth, a demand for specific witnesses undermines the strength of her own case. Why did Democrats pass the two articles if the case she presented in the House requires these fresh witnesses? Democrats have repeatedly said they had a strong case, so why do they need more witnesses at trial? These witnesses could have been available to the House had they been willing to battle the executive privilege claim in the courts. But time was of the essence for House Democrats and they did not want to wait.

Sixth and finally, the calendar is a matter of concern for Senate Democrats. Even a short trial held in January would be profoundly inconvenient for the four sitting senators running for president, with the Iowa caucuses to be held Feb. 3. In a trial, senators are required to be sitting quietly at their desks for hours at a time for several weeks. Mrs. Pelosi’s pointless delay increases the odds that the trial will be held at the most inconvenient time possible.

Mr. McConnell is not rejecting witnesses without consideration. He is suggesting that the process used in the trial of President Bill Clinton be used here as well. Both sides present their case, and then a majority vote is held on witnesses.

Mrs. Pelosi may understand the House, but this unforced error has proven that she does not understand the Senate.

She faces two bad options in the new year. She can fold and gain no concessions from Mr. McConnell or she can effectively prevent the Senate from ever holding a trial. In the latter case, Mr. McConnell may well hold an acquittal vote in the Senate, which would require 51 votes.

Mrs. Pelosi has a weak hand and decided to bluff. Mr. McConnell then called the bluff. In early January, the cards will be turned over and the pot will be awarded.

This was all entirely foreseeable. How did the “brilliant tactician” Pelosi so badly misjudge this situation?

Greetings from Tyler,

Are these the best of times, or the worst? It seems that for now at least, the foreign policy of the United States is solid. Iran is still holding the British owned tanker taken hostage in the Straits of Hormuz, though it was engaged in no unlawful activity. Apparently, that is in retaliation for the Iranian tanker steered by the British into a Gibraltar port where it is still held. The Iranian tanker was bound for Syria with a load of Iranian crude oil to be refined, in contravention of sanctions that the British helped enforce. With Britain, until recently virtually leaderless, the situation was bound to remain unresolved. But now there is Boris Johnson as Prime Minister, and we’ll see how he does.

He’s promised to extricate Britain from the European Union by October 31st “with or without a deal,” even though he faces stiff opposition internally. As Nigel Farrage (known as the godfather of Brexit) says, “We’ll see if Boris has the courage to do what needs to be done.”

The EU has a new President-elect, Ursula von der Leyen, and with all the double-talk, who knows what will happen? She was Germany’s Defense Minister since 2013, coincidentally, and rejects Boris’ plans as unworkable while at the same time talking of a “duty to deliver something that is good for the people in Europe and the United Kingdom.” Theresa May’s “deal” with the EU is seen as dead so presumably, they’ll be starting from scratch trying to solve the complex situation that has arisen from Britain getting involved with the EU in the first place.

Here at home, it seems that those who would lead us have shed their masks. They’re tripping all over each other in a race to see who can be the most extreme. And there’s not much humor to be found. These people are outraged, they’re angry, and they’re demanding we give them unimaginable power to overturn the entire economic system. We are constantly lectured about how things are done in the rest of the world, and how the United States is the only prosperous nation that hasn’t adopted government-run health care or carbon taxes. Any hesitation is branded as RACIST. The word has been used to the point of becoming meaningless, but they still utter it at every opportunity. Let them call all the shots, tax the life out of all patriotic citizens to “make sure” that every third-world gate-crasher lives in the dignified circumstances they deserve or wear the brand of RACIST.

They ceaselessly use the term to describe our President. He’s presided over the most astounding economic recovery anyone’s ever seen, with some of the lowest unemployment and best jobs numbers on record. He stood like a statue while they called him a Russian agent, accused him of treason and obstruction of justice. He could have fired everyone in sight, but he cooperated with their “investigation,” turning over documents and allowing all his advisors and even his attorney to be grilled by “investigators.” The mainstream media salivated day and night for the “bomb” that would be delivered by the “Mueller Report.” They raised the expectations of their audiences to the point that they felt confident that Trump would be charged with crimes and removed from office any minute, for two and a half years. But Mueller, and “his report” (with which he had scant familiarity) was a dud.

Imagine. They had the ability to spy on all the communications, see all the e-mails, and even had “human sources” inside the Trump campaign and administration. They leaked to the mainstream like crazy. It was unbelievable that private phone calls and White House conversations were getting into the media every day if you’ll remember, and we were all wondering, “How is this possible?”

Though much is in the public domain, nothing is solved. The mainstream media has yet to either admit or atone for the time wasted or the false impressions they’ve spawned. They still sneer and smirk through their accusations of bigotry and racism, because that’s all they have left.

They won’t criticize him for signing on to one of the biggest most wasteful deficit-spending budgets ever contemplated because they support ever-increasing government spending. As Mark Levin said recently, “This is the most selfish generation in history, one that doesn’t mind enslaving their own kids and grandkids to prove how much they CARE about third world hordes, and of course ‘saving the planet.’” They’ve been calling for big-government-action for as long as we can remember, pretending they will affect weather patterns if only they could ban and mandate at will. Two of these nameless goofballs who think they ought to have the opportunity to be president actually said, “It’s too late already, and “it’s time to get our people to higher ground.” If they can just screech loud enough or gesticulate wildly enough or hold their mouths just right, surely we’ll be won over.

We better hope the economy continues to outperform expectations because the debt being laden upon “the CHILDREN” is way out of hand. And socialists were supposed to be all about “the CHILDREN.” Or maybe it’s just about the children being brought as a guaranteed release ticket for illegal aliens. We are being replaced. Our children will find themselves buried in debt and most likely in the minority the way things are going.

This could go on with the indoctrination to which we and our kids are subjected, about the control of information by social media and the mainstream press. The seeds of destruction for the last bastion of freedom on earth have been sown. But the wealthy and powerful of the world are meeting in Italy, having arrived on over 100 private jets and mega-yachts, drunk on the idea that they can manage the “climate” if they can enslave us under some globalist system and force us to comply.

We’re not going to comply, take that to the bank. We’re not going to be intimidated no matter how loud their screeching or how big they wave their arms. But their strategy is clear. They’re going to accuse any and all who don’t go along that we’re “destroying the planet.” What could be worse than that? What more noble campaign can they wage? We knew that perilous times were coming. We’re finding out how smug the authors of destruction can be. The only question is whether we’ll cave to the godless world they have in store.

Mark

Sen. Bernie Sanders has some wind at his back as he makes a second straight bid for the Democratic presidential nomination.

But a new poll suggests his age and self-identification as a “democratic socialist” could hurt the independent senator from Vermont if he reaches the 2020 general election.

SANDERS FORMALLY LAUNCHES 2020 BID WITH BROOKLYN RALLY

An NBC News/Wall Street Journal public opinion survey tested 11 different presidential characteristics among registered voters nationwide. The most widely accepted – being an African American (87 percent said they were “enthusiastic” or “comfortable” with that characteristic), a white man (86 percent), a woman (84 percent), and gay or lesbian (68 percent).

The least popular characteristics? Being over the age of 75 (37 percent) and a socialist (25 percent).

Sanders – at 77 – is the oldest declared or potential presidential candidate in the 2020 field. And he’s been repeatedly labeled by Republicans as a socialist.

HOLDER SAYS NO TO 2020 WHITE HOUSE RUN

Looking at possible 2020 Democratic primary voters, though, the survey suggests that self-identifying as democratic socialist is less of a liability. Among registered Democrats only, those feeling favorable about the age characteristic remained low (36 percent). But those “enthusiastic” or “comfortable” with the socialist characteristic dramatically jumped to 47 percent.

The poll was conducted Feb. 24-27, after Sander’s Feb. 19 announcement that he was launching a presidential campaign. Nine-hundred adults – including 720 registered voters nationwide – were questioned by live operators. The survey’s sampling error was plus or minus 3.65 percentage points.

HICKENLOOPER JUMPS INTO 2020 PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN

In an interview with CBS News as he announced his White House run, Sanders pushed back against concerns about his age, saying “you’ve got to look at the totality of a person.”

“I have been blessed thank God,” Sanders highlighted, “with good health and good energy.”

And he added that he was “a cross-country runner, a long distance runner, when I was a kid, and I’ve been running hard, in a sense, since then.”

The senator also pushed back against being labeled a socialist by Republican President Trump.

“Bernie Sanders does not want to have the United States become the horrific economic situation that unfortunately currently exists in Venezuela right now,” he emphasized.

While the new poll raises some questions, the Vermont senator continues to score well in the latest 2020 Democratic primary polls. Thanks to his strong name recognition, Sanders places either first or second in recent national or early voting state surveys, along with former Vice President Joe Biden, who’s leaning toward a White House run.

And the Vermont senator appears to remain immensely popular in neighboring New Hampshire – which holds the first primary in the presidential race. Sanders topped the field at 26 percent, 4 percentage points ahead of Biden and far ahead of the rest of the contenders, in a new University of New Hampshire poll.

Sanders crushed Hillary Clinton in the 2016 Democratic presidential primary in New Hampshire, launching him into a marathon battle with the eventual nominee that did not end until July, following the conclusion of the primary and caucus calendar. The state is considered a ‘must win’ for Sanders in 2020.

Greetings from Tyler,

It’s been said before, but demand for racist hate crimes exceeds the supply. Media soberly reports the heinous incidents until they’re proven to have been a hoax by irrefutable evidence, then they drop them like a hot potato. Have you heard about the transgender activist who burned down his/her (not sure) own (rented) house with five pets inside? Check it out. You’ll have to agree; these incidents are piling up.

Everyone’s probably tired of hearing about the summit with the North Korean dictator that yielded no deal. President Trump walked away early, rejecting Kim’s offer of shutting down a well-known nuclear facility. The President reportedly asked, “What about the other two?” The question apparently stunned Kim and his delegation who had no idea we knew about “the other two.” Even though there was no grand signing of agreements, Kim doubtless knows Trump means business. All bets are off as to what might happen if North Korea again begins nuclear or missile testing.

As the summit took place the mainstream media was glued to the Cohen hearings with high expectations. Their heads must have been spinning as Cohen, after calling Trump a liar, a cheat, racist and the regular list of mainstream accusations, (probably written by Lanny Davis if not Hillary herself) went on to exonerate the President on the points that held such promise from the hate-Trump media. Russia collusion? Nothing he could point to. The President told you to lie to congress? He did not. Now Cohen may be in more trouble than he already was, for having perjured himself on other points which, believe it or not, the mainstream media has acknowledged. But it won’t matter. The angry socialists will not stand idle and watch this nation revived.

The Russia collusion story, on which the media has wasted the last two years of everyone’s time and attention, has died an agonizing death. But the mainstream won’t report that, and they won’t give up. One panelist allowed as how, “The Trump empire is a criminal organization.” Now they intend to comb through every transaction over the past forty years. They intend to destroy President Trump one way or the other. But they’ve had no luck so far. The Hucksters are still pretending to be professional.

News also broke this week that the Israeli Attorney General is issuing indictments against Benjamin Netanyahu for bribery and corruption. Something to do with acceptance of gifts, in this case cigars and champagne, and a ruling affecting Israeli media. Many may not realize that Netanyahu faces a situation not dissimilar from our President. They’ll either take him down in court, or smear him to the point that he can’t win the next election, in Netanyahu’s case, a mere six weeks out. The Prime Minister of Israel, Mr. Netanyahu loves his country and is not corrupt. The charges will fall apart after the election, whether Mr. Netanyahu wins or not. This is an effort to insure his defeat. Sound familiar?
Our minds can’t conceive of $93 trillion. It’s probably more money than every GDP on earth, combined. But that’s what is necessary to “save the planet” according to the squeaky socialist who must practice her bizarre gesturing in front of a mirror. Otherwise, we’ll all be dead in twelve years, she warns. The $93 trillion would pay for the retrofitting of every structure in the U. S., high speed electric trains, free health care for all and a guaranteed income for those “unwilling to work.” The U. S. only accounts for 13% of the world’s emissions, including those pesky cows. China and India account for the majority. But logic will not penetrate the cranium behind those bulging eyes. By her estimation, we should all be subject to her hyper-emotional demands. With any luck, she’ll self-destruct. In a sane environment that would have happened already. Meanwhile we’ll be subjected to her frequent bouts of lunacy, which would snatch every vestige of freedom from every American and bankrupt the most successful economy on earth.

Two revelations this week: The Olympics have decided to let “transgender” women (men) to compete with biological women in the Olympics. Even those sporting factory equipment. This could get ugly, in more ways than one. And Prince Harry with his new wife Meghan have announced that they will raise their baby to be “gender fluid.” Poor kid. Poor British people. It will be a stain on the dignity of the Royal family.
Every day or two someone new announces that they’re running for the presidency of the United States. Most so far would finish off freedom for good if they had their way. The newest, as reported all over the place this morning, is going to “defeat climate change.” That ought to be some trick. We experience climate change every few days here in Texas, and rather like it this way. But for this and any of the other arrogant politicians to pretend that they can set earth’s thermostat simply by ruining life in America is idiotic beyond all comprehension.

We realize that “Bible thumping” is ridiculed by most of the elite, who believe themselves to be far above those who believe in God, or take seriously anything in His Word. But this is too perfect to ignore, and perfectly describes the situation in which our once great nation finds itself. Romans 1:28 “And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;” (Like outlawing nearly every blessing God bestowed? That sounds totally inconvenient, even ruinous.) The rest of the passage goes on to describe modern society to a tee. If that’s not the perfect description of what ails us, we’d like to know what is. Have a great Sabbath,

P. S. The new monthly letter has just gone out, a few days later than we’d planned. Our printer has a daughter in the hospital, and is caring for her children. Prayers would be appreciated.
