Loonie strengthened against greenback to trade as high as $1.3777 per U.S. dollar
United States President Donald Trump said newly elected Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney plans to visit the White House within the next week.
“I think we’re going to have a great relationship. He called me up yesterday. He said ‘Let’s make a deal,’” Trump told reporters Wednesday at a cabinet meeting.
