The US president said it’s a “waste of time” dealing with Tehran after the US struck dozens of Iranian targets overnight and again later on Wednesday.
US military launches fresh strikes on Iran
The US military is conducting strikes on Iran, according to a post by the US Central Command on Wednesday.
The statement came hours after President Donald Trump declared an interim deal to end the war with Iran was “over.”
It said the strikes aimed at degrading Iran’s ability to threaten freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.
“The United States is holding Iran accountable for recent unjustified aggression against commercial shipping and civilian crews freely navigating a vital international waterway,” US Central Command wrote in a post on X.
