Greetings from Tyler,
Texas made national, and probably worldwide news this week, going upstream from the mainstream consensus. There’s weeping and gnashing of teeth over the anti-abortion law. The radio had to be silenced this morning. Hearing of the rush to beat enactment of the law, and the “providers’” anguish over their inability to “help everybody” was just too much. Don’t tell me another word.
The other new law that’s blowing minds is that you can now carry firearms, openly or concealed, without any kind of permit. It probably put a whole bunch of permit educators out of business, but it is now legal to be armed in Texas, anywhere that firearms are not prohibited. We’re probably going to start seeing decals declaring every business and restaurant a “gun prohibited zone.” The proponents of confiscation must be losing their minds. Oh wait.
They’re all through reasoning with us. About everything. We’ll either do as we’re told or face whatever strictures are in store for the irredeemables. Don’t we understand that this is a time of crisis, and there’s no time for discussion, let alone disagreement? Global warming, we’re told to believe, is the root cause of nearly everything going wrong. The people streaming across the border? Global warming. Trouble in the Middle East? You guessed it. Hurricane IDA? Yep. Whatever the crisis, the officials and media and corporations (particularly those that depend on government contracts) are doing their part. What are you, some kind of “deplorable”?
We’re treated to officials telling us how they’ve managed a successful pullout from Kabul. They did such a good job, preparing for all contingencies and all. Surely history will praise them. Then the critics claim that thousands are left behind. This after thousands have been airlifted to places where… let’s just say it’s not Kabul. Have you seen what it’s like over there? How many thousands are we talking about? No doubt there were some good guys over there, but multiple thousands? Let’s hope their vetting is as secure as we’re being told. But when have they told us the truth about anything?
In an unintentional and backhanded way, the Corona business may have contributed to saving the country. Parents were able to look over the shoulders of their kids and see what they were being “taught.” As a result school boards all over the country have been getting an earful from outraged parents. Then Project Veritas posted a video of a Sacramento teacher bragging about turning school kids into communist revolutionaries. The school board meeting was epic. The parents are not amused about their children being subjected to this Antifa instructor.
There the board sat fully masked, shuffling papers, operating a computer or cell phone as if they we’re nearly unaware of the thrashing they were receiving. They said they’d fire the guy, but the parents are pretty sure they knew about this situation for at least a couple of years, and apparently think that there are several others in the system who are operating an indoctrination program on little kids who don’t know any better. When asked, “How do you do it?” the teacher in line for firing responded, “I scare the ____ out of them.” It was on video, and the parents didn’t much like it.
The CDC has a new study showing that TWICE as many as they thought have the antibodies indicating they’ve already been subjected to the sensational virus and have natural immunity. That kind of screws up their whole argument, doesn’t it? It means the mortality rate is only half what they said it was. We’re wondering whether these folks get any consideration when it comes to vaccine mandates? No? They too have to produce authentic paperwork in order to access what they want? We almost forgot. No exceptions. Nothing has to make sense, you just do what you’re told and everything will be fine. The media is still doing its part to try to scare the be-jabbers out of anybody who’s not entrenched. There’s more corona virus than ever! Hospitals are turning away patients. Run screaming into the night!
So there’s no treatment? Have you seen the media recommending any treatments? It’s as if there aren’t any. Trump recommended treatments. They were banned almost immediately. If he recommended it, it’ll probably kill you. His bout of the virus lasted only a couple of days, and he was back to full strength despite being in the “high risk” category. The media would have you believe there is no treatment. Just stay home and hope it’s not too bad. Even if you’ve had your shot, they’ve still got mask mandates. There’ll be boosters and other necessary shots in the future, they’ll let you know.
But the mandates apply to those who’ve had the shot and got their papers and everything. That’s OK. Just wear your mask regardless and follow all instructions whether it makes any sense to you or not. The government will consider the science and tell you what to do. It’s a bit much to trust people who think they’re the highest form of intelligence in the universe. Maybe if they had just a hint of humility. Acknowledge the Creator, for a start. Would that be too much to ask?
Mark
PS: We’ve made progress on another edition of 21st Century WATCH, and expect to have it finished before we go to the Feast of Tabernacles. Many thanks to all.
