Weekly Update by Mark Armstrong – August 25, 2023

Greetings from Tyler,

They’ve finally got the mug-shot of Donald Trump.  Not sure if it was the one they wanted.  It will be interesting to see what people think about the look on his face.  You have to wonder if it’s not a defensive move, the best of a series of bad options.  One thing is for sure.  They don’t dare let him back into power.  He was content to be a nice guy, including to people who’d connived against him.  There have been seven or eight attempts to finish him off, four are pending.  Wouldn’t you hate to be prosecuting Trump, knowing that the whole thing might backfire?

Fani Willis thinks she will bask in the glory of having brought Trump down?  After two impeachments, the “Russian collusion” hoax, the perfect phone call and…  They’ve impaneled the whole news-desk exclusively with people who despise Trump for one reason or another.  Everybody’s worried about Rudy Giuliani’s legal fees.  Is the relationship strong enough that Rudy dares ask Trump to pay?  That’s what they’re talking about.

Meanwhile, news of the pretender’s corruption is accessible if not exactly mainstream.  If there’s any more bad news, what are they going to do?  Indict Trump somewhere else?  You’ve heard these legal theories stretched to the breaking point.  Yours truly is actually not sweating this much.  Maybe the prosecutors, in their time-sensitive quest to finish Trump will, as the Proverb says, fall into their own pit.

There are enough defendants to go around.  The prosecutors will attempt to intimidate some into flipping and saying something that will cook Trump’s goose.

The Maui fire will haunt us all as the personal stories start to come out.  We better not learn that the water was withheld due to any woke philosophy.  And don’t say they had to get the farmers’ permission while the fire raged.  It’s a disaster of unimaginable proportions.  We’ll probably never hear the end of it.  Being burned alive is something nobody wants to contemplate, but many were.  If anybody died due to wokeness!

This week has been one for the history books.  Now we have to live through the twists and turns.  No other nation on earth has enjoyed the blessings of the United States, but it can’t go on forever.  Numbers on personal indebtedness were released this week.  It’s off the chart.  The current administration thinks it can print money to do whatever they see fit.  But it’s going to affect us all.  The value of our cash is being debased, and we’re not sure it’s not intentional.

The war in Ukraine is draining our resources, and nobody knows what’s truly going on.  One thing is that none of these villages or towns are ever going to be re-inhabited.  They’re turning everything into rubble.  Now they’re talking about training Ukrainian pilots to fly F-16’s in Arizona.  Didn’t the pretender say we were flirting with WWIII?  With what he’s facing, it might be the best possible outcome, for him.  We like freedom, a lot.  We don’t want it tied to Joe Biden’s fate.
