Weekly Update by Mark Armstrong – December 9, 2022

Greetings from Tyler,

The usual suspects are out in force.  They’ve got to explain away, given how smart they are, the fact that they were trying to get a panic going in the 1970’s, and some of us are old enough to remember.  Not only that, the material is available on the internet.

It was Newsweek’s fault for trying to be sensational.  People are misinterpreting the intent, which was squeaky clean.  No problem.  These science writers are used to readers jumping to the wrong conclusions.  The mainstream is denigrating the public figures who’ve noticed, and publicized their “global cooling” conclusions.  Was it not science then?  They’re acting like a bunch of gullible novices jumped on the bandwagon and produced a slew of articles in noteworthy publications, and it was the best information they had at the time.

So it’s Rush Limbaugh’s fault, and several other media personalities, who’ve dared to broadcast the earlier findings of the scientific community, and how they’ve done a complete 180.  We’re often warned of China’s suspect intentions and the moves they’re making, but at least we’ll have done our part to “save the planet” if we have solar panels on our roofs and drive electric cars.  You think that will do it?  Something has dawned, true or not.  That is that we were going to be alarmed, and other smarter individuals were going to have to alter human consumption one way or another to SAVE the PLANET.

Life was simpler before these elite decided it was up to them.

No, they’re going to have to clamp down on farmers and their use of fertilizer.  It turns out that nations with the best ESG (environmental social governance) scores are in complete collapse.  But Germany and Holland are not bothered.  They intend to treat their farmers fairly as they take arable land out of service.  You saw the huge tractor protests in Holland?  How’s all that working out?

So governments are bribing farmers to quit growing so much produce on the premise that the planet is being destroyed.  Science has branded man a “force of nature.”  They’ve got to control us.  How else are they going to save the planet?

Quote, Time Magazine:  The U.N.’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change issued a report on the state of planetary warming in February that was surprising only in its utter lack of hedging. “Warming of the climate system is unequivocal,” the report stated. What’s more, there is “very high confidence” that human activities since 1750 have played a significant role by overloading the atmosphere with carbon dioxide hence retaining solar heat that would otherwise radiate away. The report concludes that while the long-term solution is to reduce the levels of CO2 in the atmosphere, for now we’re going to have to dig in and prepare, building better levees, moving to higher ground, abandoning vulnerable floodplains altogether. When former Vice President Al Gore made his triumphant return to Capitol Hill on March 21 to testify before Congress on climate change, he issued an uncompromising warning: “We do not have time to play around with this.” (2007)

Who’s we?  These climate change alarmists fly their private jets to exclusive conferences at posh resorts to dine and pat each other on the back about how successful they’ve been at saving the planet.  What could be a loftier cause?  Who cares if some countries (Sri Lanka, with a near perfect ESG score) go into complete meltdown, with people starving and they have to call out the military?  At least the “planet” will still be here.  That must be how they reason, this elite class has to save us from ourselves if it wrecks human existance.

If you search this, you’ll find that the mainstream has performed its expected function.  They’ve completely justified everything they said in the 1970’s, and ridiculed those who dared notice, “right wing” talk hosts and the like.  No, that was all innocent and based on the best scientific information at the time.  It just took them a while to understand that they needed to do a complete 180 degree turn and panic about global warming.  If you look at the “scientific community’s” projections, they were all wet.  They’ve embarrassed themselves repeatedly with contortions that are hardly scientific.  You can read all about it, just not in the mainstream press.  Not many dare come out and roundly condemn the “global warming” scam.  Those who do are pitied amid attempted destruction.

There have been times in history when government would come down hard on anyone disputing the official conventional wisdom.  We laugh now about how much trouble was suffered over the flat earth theory, about medical theories, a whole roster of approved beliefs.  Dispute of the approved narrative is not well received in the halls of power.  “This misinformation must be stopped before more damage is done!”

We know all about deception.  We’re about to find out how it was used to betray the nation.  That’s right, some news was factual while non-approved information had to be banned.  And ban it they did.  Turns out everybody isn’t particularly interested in the biggest arguments of the day.  They can’t be bothered.

Do we not have enough actual problems here on earth?  We have to invent something to panic about?  It turns out children are being frightened and their sleep disturbed with nightmares over the effects of global warming. Show them an aerial shot of Obama’s waterfront mansion.  Makes you wonder if the people inside are having nightmares.

They’ve decided man is a “force of nature.”  As soon as the esteemed elite get control of these volcanoes that keep erupting, we’ll talk about solar panels and electric cars.  In the meantime…

We believe God controls the weather.  If He wants it to be hot, it will be.  If He wants us to have drought or rain…  After all, He set the weather patterns in motion, and can interfere with them if He sees fit.  The sooner these private jet alarmists figure that out, the better off we’ll be.
