Weekly Update by Mark Armstrong – September 16, 2022

Greetings from Tyler,

Much is being made of the transfer of illegal aliens to northeastern destinations.  Is it a gimmick or might it expose the hypocrisy of the bleeding hearts?  They seem to have certain philosophies that are for other people and other places.  Never mind the MILLIONS that have poured in since the border was opened.  What are they going to do about the dozens sent to Martha’s Vineyard?  Put them on buses and send them somewhere else, that’s what.  It’s one of the quickest turn-a-rounds you’ll ever see.  The State of Texas can’t send the trespassers back across the border, but they can certainly send them to other states that seem to want an uncontrolled southern border.

The very idea!  The governors of Texas and Florida using human beings as political pawns!

The same individuals that vouch for an open border are flabbergasted that human beings are being transported to places with no way to take care of them.  This is Florida’s and Texas’ problem!  Not any more.  Apparently Governor Newsom wants the other governors charged with kidnapping!  Chicago and Martha’s vineyard?  They can hire buses too.  That’s just what they’re doing.

We’re being led to believe that Ukraine is winning the war with Russia.  Word is that Russian soldiers are raiding the closets of civilians so they can escape undetected.  Ukrainian forces are driving them out, dejected and miserable.  Trouble is, nothing is left behind but ruined buildings and rubble is everywhere.  Next we’ll be hearing about some new Marshall Plan to rebuild Ukraine.  What?  You don’t care about people?   We’ve sent so many billions to Ukraine we’ve lost track.  Maybe that’s what they were counting on.  Ukraine is be counted among the most corrupt nations on earth.  It has to be saved at any cost.

Switching to the Middle East, there’s been a rash of bank robberies in Lebanon.  It turns out that depositors are threatening violence to get at their savings.  The public supports these robberies, as the robbers are just trying to access their own money.  The banks have enacted rules that prevent people from accessing their savings.  The public is none too happy.  The currency has lost 90% of its value.

There was trouble in the American financial markets this week.  FedEx is predicting a worldwide recession, if not worse.  It lost 25% of its value this week.  All the big corporate names fell dramatically in value.  My Dad often said that he believed that the end-time chain of events might well be set off by a worldwide depression.

Interest rates are rising, killing off the housing boom.  The government is spending money like there’s no tomorrow.  We’re being scolded for loving our country and freedom.  Trump friends and allies are being raided, and Trump himself has so many investigations and lawsuits hanging over his head you have to wonder how he sleeps.  Whenever he appears at a rally, he’s as confidently optimistic as ever and promising the problems will be fixed.  He’s also railing against the Deep State, green energy and the politicization of Federal law enforcement.

The mainstream is particularly upset if anyone should question the last presidential election.  Never mind that every presidential election has been questioned, and the winner called illegitimate. There’s no shortage of video proof but now it’s a serious crime, like terrorism.  That’s right.  If you question government or media authority you might be a terrorist!  We knew that things were going to get silly, but this is ridiculous!

We can’t seem to get away from the horrific crimes being committed on an almost daily basis.  It’s no secret that the perpetrators of these hideous crimes shouldn’t be out walking the street.  In most cases these most visible and heinous crimes are committed by criminals that have a long rap sheet and wouldn’t have been freed to commit more crimes in previous years.  America’s big cities are starting to look like places we’d never want to visit.  We see homeless encampments on the streets of once clean and orderly cities.  Now there’s mayhem.  Isn’t progress great?

How bad will it get where we are?  That depends where you live.  We know that before there’s Divine intervention that humankind on earth is at risk.  Meanwhile, there’s a precipitous decline in the Western nations.  There’s all kinds of worry over Europe’s energy situation with winter on its way.  Are governments going to “cap prices?”  They’re going to pick up the difference between what people would have paid and the prevailing prices?  Europe is at odds with Russia over fuel.  They might should have thought of that before going totally green.  But it’s not over.  We’ll be lectured mercilessly about how much they care.  Then we’ll be told what we must do!  Nah.  Thanks anyway.

Mark
