Greetings from Tyler,
I’m writing this a day early, because we’re closing the office for the fourth. Who could have foreseen it? I can remember many statements about the end of the world. They were worried about having babies in the 1960’s, and what they’d have to go through. Well, it’s sixty years later and we’re having a revival.
I want to go back and take my family to see where I grew up and get a feel for what it was like. Donald Trump has upended everyone’s plans. We thought we were going to sit here and watch while the politicians destroyed America. But it’s July 4th and we couldn’t be happier.
Trump isn’t pleased about all the ways they tried to get him. We could see what was going on, but the perpetrators are going to have to pay, and here we are. We could see who was who and what was what, but we don’t want to be dragged back through it. But it’s coming, whether we like it or not. We’re going to have to see just how corrupt they were, and we’re not going to like it.
The war between Iran and Israel is over, and maybe there will be peace. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if nobody had to worry about Iran anymore. Or the terrorists they supported. Maybe we’re in for some peace for a change. It looks like everything is going according to plan. But you’d never know it if you had only the mainstream to read. Everything Trump is doing is a mistake, according to the mainstream press. They rely heavily on scandal, and they’re busy trying to find one.
I go to the mainstream just to see what they’re saying. The liberals have ruined themselves, and we get to watch. Happy 4th of July! I just wish Dad and Grandpa were here to see it. God works in mysterious ways.
When I came to Texas from Pasadena I thought it was the end. This was nothing like Southern California. But Southern California has been overrun. It’s not the same. Tyler has grown exponentially since we got here, and so has the country. With any luck we’re in for some good years. But not if the media has its way. They’re horribly depressed, and that makes me happy. Thank God this fourth, and fifth, and…
Mark
